Please I need urgent answers on the above topics, I'm typing this out of frustration and anger. I don't know even know where to start from.... I Was working outside my state before our project got finished, and the Chinese company asked us to go home, before traveling to another state for work i was staying with my elder brother in a 3 bed room flat owned by my father in the City, during that time of working outside the state my elder brother I was staying with got married to this wicked girl. So when i was asked by the Chinese to go home it was frustrating because I didn't want to come home and keep staying with my brother, and my father who is the village prohibit us from renting house. He always encourage us to stay in his house since it is a big flat. If we tried to rent house to be independent he will start talking if we want to leave the house for who. When I came back i discovered that the the other 1 bed flat he was planing to give me to stay has been rented out, they said they flat was wasting, that they didn't know i will be back soon. I said okay, I started looking for a another house to rent for my self. When my father heard that I have started looking for a house bhe called me on phone and started talking, why I want to leave his to go rent another house, if I want to put division in his family, if I don't want to leave close to my blood brother. He encourage me to go and continue staying with my brother in the 3 bed room flat I was staying before he got married I was angry because am not a kid it will be unfair for me to go and stay with my brother and the wife in the same flat. After enough pleading, I accepted to go stay with them since the room are 3, plus parlor, dinning room, store and kitchen.
The issue now : since I came back this my brother's wife has been fighting and quarrelling with my brother. They fought today again early in the morning. I dressed up and go outside to go look for work as usual not talking to them because I no dey put mouth for their matter because my brother is a SIMP. When I came back from where I went to I discovered that the only access door to the whole house was locked, I meet my brother outside. He said the wife locked the house from inside and refused to open. I was angry of myself at because that's not where am supposed to stay, I left I didn't talk to him or asked his wife to open the door for me. This was around 12 p.m, went outside to hang around, now this is 7 p.m , I went back home to discover that' the house is still locked. I don't know if she has killed herself inside or what. Am planning to called the police to come help me check if she is actually alive or not. Please should I call the police

Got myself a HP 255 G8, it's a small laptop wanted to be using it for programming it came with an AMD chip. I have never used AMD before so I was a bit sceptical.

First off all the laptop Battery last a lot longer compared to my other system I have been using, I can use this laptop for like 6hrs plus and the battery would get to like 20% from 100%. I have to shut it down when it gets to 20% so I don't wear the battery for future problems.


The second and most important is that this Laptop hardly gets Hot, I don't know if it's because it's AMD but all the intel Based laptop I have used gets hot like say tomorrow no day but this Laptop 5hrs plus of using it and I touch the bottom of the laptop and it was just a little bit warm if it was Intel it'll be burning by now.

I might be biased though but this are just what I have experienced. Other AMD laptop might not be like this but I have never gotten lucky like this with an Intel based laptop.

please where did you buy it,. Can I get a strong one too

Do not get 2011 below or 2016 above except you can afford the M1 series.

For SSD, there are plenty fakes out there.

It is better to buy a laptop with HDD and upgrade the SSD your self.

Don’t buy all those new SSDs except you are importing directly or buying from an authorized distributor who is offering a no-questions warranty.

Buy ‘follow-come’ ssds. Those computer village boys open every laptop being imported and remove the original SSDs and swap them with HDD. If they put an ssd inside for you, it is probably one of the fakes.

Any SSD with funny names like Onye-Power will only lead to tears.

Buy laptop, then upgrade ssd without rushing.

Make sure your laptop has upgradeable hdd and ram. Dont buy non-removable except you dont have plans to upgrade.

Why should you buy a MacBook?
XCode.

If you have plans of developing cross platform apps, you must use an XCode compatible laptop. Last I checked, windows is not XCode compatible.

Virus and malware
Anti virus on windows alone zaps battery. You dont need extra processes running on your workstation. Except you go looking for viruses, you cannot get infected on a mac that easily.

Updates
Windows annoying updates are non existent on mac. Even if you set auto updates on with mac, it does it when you are sleeping

Always on
Macbooks dont need to be shut down. This might sound trival until you experience it You open your laptop, enter password and you are on VS code, all within 10 seconds. Exactly where you left.

Resale value.
When you decide to upgrade, you get your money back from sales. You dont beg to sell. There are people willing to buy. MacBooks are like Corolla.

Days are gone when you need expensive laptops or desktop PC's to learn programming or even develop a solution.

You can now write and run your codes on a cloud browser.

Also the type of Laptops you would need depend on the kind of programs you are developing. A graphic intensive app like games , etc or multimedia app requires much computing power than text based calculators....

All in all, the RAM and Processor is the most important in this case. All other tools you need are hosted on the Server.

Sheybe your eyes will clear and your mind will calm down when you start using it. 130K is expensive for any of these laptop. There is this offerup thread in the technology market section where big Lagos dealers post laptops they got from the States. That's the best place to get and compare laptop prices instead of making constant trips to the market and back
