House! How do I claim point for work experience where I get paid in cash. I can always secure a reference letter but there is neither a bank statement nor pay slip to show for remuneration as we get paid in cash.

If you had carefully read dat, u will notice in that scenario that the reference letter was backed with a statement of account reflecting monthly salary payment of the person in question.

I think you should focus more on writing IELTS and evaluating your academic credentials. You do not need anything job bank to become an eligible EE applicant

About boarding the express entry pool.

I read somewhere that the PA needs sign-up with job bank after boarding into the pool. I stand to be corrected as I may not be correct.

I will however appreciate if I can be enlightened on all job bank entails (as it affects the PA and accompanying spouse). Thanks

I used @Fusion23's sample. I wrote it exactly the same way (I modified the name of organization, date and co though).

Read thru length n breadth of the thread and you will have a clear pix on how to go about it all.
However, as a clue, there are two pre-requisite you must have in place to board the process. These are namely ECA (evaluation of ur academic certificates) and you taking IELTS.

No you were wrong. we had oral interview during bamiro era. The waec and jamb results of candidates were weighed, students were later invited for oral interview so we had oral post utme where student were asked question orally.

But in the case of this 16/17 cohort, their waec result was used for direct admission.

You seem not to have passed through the tertiary academic system. Is the V.C the one who marked their scripts in the several courses they underwent in their first and second semesters? Do you expect the institution to progress them by patching their shortcomings, of whose disadvantage will that be in years to come? Not even this time when average graduates produced by Nigerian Universities are said to be half-baked.

@tribed, can u please confirm this as I read ur post in part 2 where you explained that if one has the POF in the form of TBill prior to ITA. The TBill certificate alongside the exchange rate from xe.com without an account statement are ok to be used as POF. Did I get u right? I will appreciate if u can confirm this. Spouse work history isn't required as it doesn't add any points to the CRS so it's better to leave it out especially if you'll have trouble finding payslips, reference letters and all. You can mention it as part of spouse's personal history.
If you'll be using spouse's account as part of POF, it is advisable to have that on standby ( i know someone got ADR for spouse work history after using spouse's salary account for POF).
However if spouse work history is in Canada it adds to the CRS and it must be submitted.
2. Spouse or PA being out a job presently doesn't affect the application as long as they have had skilled work experience within the past ten years in the appropriate NOCs. It is irrelevant that spouse or PA is out of job at the time of submitting the application

@ flaj, can u please enlighten me on the spouse work history issue.

1.) Is it a must the spouse's work history is submitted?

2.) what happens if the spouse is out of job?

There are forms to be filled post ita and its after completion of the forms that you'd get to see your personalised document checklist.
Documents required for each application varies but the basics are -

Valid international passport for PA and dependants;
IELTS TRF, ECA report, copy of education certificate of PA and spouse (where applicable);
Passport photographs of PA and dependants;
Proof of medical exams;
Police clearance certificate for PA and adult dependants for any country in which they have resided for 6 months consecutively since they turned 18 years;
Proof of marriage if PA is married;
Birth certificate of PA's child if any;
Proof of funds;
Evidence of name change if any;
Reference letter from employers or evidence of employment;
If PA is divorced proof of divorce/separation;
Spouse evidence of employment if spouse is listed as employed (to save stress on this spouse work history can be moved to personal history, except the emloyment was in Canada and points were awarded for it);
If PA is divorced with a child proof that he/she has legal custody of the child and may include consent letter / declaration from the other parent;
If claiming sibling points, birth certificates of PA and sibling, sibling's PR card or Canadian passport, copy of utility bills not more than 6 months old to show that sibling is living in Canada.

Going by exchange rates of both countries currencies to the dollar. Data services is cheaper in Nigeria.

1.) Do I only require the underlisted documents for uploads Post ITA?

POF
Work experience Letter
Police clearance certificate to be uploaded.

2.) Are there other CIC forms to be filled and uploaded alongside the aforelisted or the itemised docs above will suffice for Post ITA docs uploads/submission?

Hello house. I intend cancelling my earlier scheduled visa interview date for a closer date. How do I go about this please. I was earlier planning to cancel earlier appointment and almost immediately rescheduling by picking a close-by date.

My fear however is the fact I have an information displayed on the screen saying "if u cancel this appointment, then you will have exceeded the limit of appointments cancelled, and will not be able to schedule another appointment until another MRV fee has been paid"

Gurus in the house, please enlighten me on how to successfully go about this. More so, I want answers to the following question

1. How many times on one single visa fee can I have appointment cancellation done without having to pay for another visa fee?

2. To reschedule for a close-by date as explained above. Do I need to first cancel earlier appointment and then reschedule the new appointment. Or I can reschedule for a new appointment using the reschedule appointment tab without cancelling the initial appointment.

Good day all. House please I need ur advise as I am attempting to re-schedule an interview for an F-1 status. Although, there was an initial refusal just early this month n I am about scheduling another interview.

The bottleneck is while I am about completing filling the ds160. I quickly want to book an interview date as I complete the ds160. Now, while I attempt scheduling although I changed my email address. As I almost complete the schedule process. I got a message prompt on the screen saying " your personal details match the profile which already exists in our database. The user Id of DAT profile is .......quoting the email address I earlier used". If u created this profile in the past, you have the option to transfer ur acct to did previous one in order to avoid any inconvenience DAT may arise from having multiple accounts."

Please learned members, can I ignore this msssg and go ahead with the new schedule using the new email addr as I am using this new email addr on the new ds160?
My reason for filling a new ds160/is because I want to update some details on my profile.

Also, do I qualify for an emergency interview as the school resumption is Jan 2, 2018? knowing fully well I got an earlier refusal early did month.
