Business / Re: Social Media Handle Mandatory KYC Requirement For Bank Customers- CBN by Lufthansa: 7:10pm On Jun 26, 2023 |
This is just a measure to gag the youth especially the "key board warrior" whom they perceived as being impediments to their political ambitions. Just as they witnessed the influence of the youths using social media in the last concluded elections. This is reflected in the presidential election results in Lagos and other areas. Politicians had to resort into manipulating election results as they never believed the influence social media had on their ambition. This is a strategy for them to identify and punish their perceived enemies on social media. Possibly by restricting/ freezing their accounts. |

@ Amuluonyenaego Bro please does your response mean he should rather go for programming language like Java, Python e.t.c than taking the COMPTIA and CEH courses offered him? or you meant he should go for the COMPTIA and CEH rather than schooling. Please clarify, as I will be drawing inference from this. Thank you in anticipation of your response. Amuluonyenaego: |
Politics / Re: Festus Keyamo: EndSARS Promoters Must Be Prosecuted by Lufthansa: 11:31am On Jan 10, 2021 |
Keyamo who in those days claims to be an activist could not see wrong-doings in the actions of men of the defunct SARS. How is the US case related to this. The peaceful protesters here had a valid reason for the protest as the foolish government in power turn deaf ears against calls to address actions of the SARS men against citizens. 1 Like |

Wike is just been so stupid and power-drunk. What right has he to have those guys handcuffed like common criminals when they are yet to be convicted by a competent law court. That is injustice and flagrant abuse of their human rights. Posterity will Judge. I wait to see how far he would go in politics after his tenure ends. |

Business / How To Troubleshoot On Facebook Ad Glitches by Lufthansa: 12:49pm On May 12, 2020 |
@julietm, @dadojoreloaded, @2sexynet, @fola4tune, @obajoey, @Ballers, @CarmelloANGEL, @dav8id, et al Please seniors can you guide me on this. I have newly signed up a facebook business manager & ad manager (for personal ad by default). Now I was trying to add my first ad account (i.e copying my personal ad account ID from ad manager attempting to add that under bus manager). I was however getting this message "This personal ad account can't be added to Business Manager because a payment has not been made. Make your first payment and try again, or create a new ad account in Business Manager instead." Hence, I cannot add it. Since I could not add the new ad account on the grounds that I have not made a previous transaction on it. I proceeded to adding my GTBank Naira mastercard details under payment (in the ad manager profile) as I thought dis would enable me add the new ad account into my bus manager. This is however to no success I was however surprise to get an alert dis morning from GTBank with the subject DCC RESTRICTION Merchant: FACEBK *ADS Name: /ads IE Amount:USD0.95 (NGN400.00) Date:May 12 2020 12:28AM My worries: 1. Is it normal for a new ad account that has yet launched any advert to be billed/charged by facebook? As I don't understand, what could this debit details be about. Please seniors, guide me on this 2. Again, can I replace the earlier added GTBank Naira mastercard details with my GTBank Dollar mastercard details. Although, I currently have no fund on the GTBank Dollar mastercard. Please advise! 3. How can I successfully go about adding the new ad account (i.e my personal ad account into my bus manager? 4. How can I make updates to my BUSINESS MANAGER INFO as I intend making updates on the following: a.) My Website URL b.) My Primary Page: None (is this normal? How do I update this as I have a business page added to my bus manager) c.) Legal Name of Business: No Name (How do I update this also) Thank you all in anticipation to everyone who makes meaningful contribution(s) |

Crime / Re: Nigerians Blame Banks For Negligence As Robbers Visit Homes With POS Machines by Lufthansa: 1:02pm On Apr 22, 2020 |
Accepted, how will they have the PIN verified without having the card communicating with the machine? @least, they transact the least possible amount with it, e.g say transferring N10 into the account which the POS is linked. So communication details registered can be used to track the person to whom it was issued as such person should have reported to the police/bank earlier enough before that incident if it was truely stolen from him otherwise, he is an accomplice mudility: |
Crime / Re: Nigerians Blame Banks For Negligence As Robbers Visit Homes With POS Machines by Lufthansa: 12:47pm On Apr 22, 2020 |
Bro it all still boils down to failure in the Nigerian system. Every of those devices has trackable features just like phones got IMEI. In saner climes, data (BVN, Phone number e.t.c) of those to whom every bit of the devices is issued are stored against device IMEI with the CBN or an agency of the government responsible for financial/Identity management. If this is in place, even if anyone of these devices gets stolen from person to whom it was issued, it can be easily reported and decomissioned. Please let's leave out OPO, PAGA, OPAY in this. The government is the culprit here for it has no strict regulations/guidelines/measures set in place to checkmate and control activities such as this. easzypeaszy: |
Crime / Re: Nigerians Blame Banks For Negligence As Robbers Visit Homes With POS Machines by Lufthansa: 12:22pm On Apr 22, 2020 |
"How these machines get into the hands of criminals is what I don’t know. Maybe the PoS are stolen from these companies, maybe these PoS are being used by fraudulent persons – it is what should be investigated." Even those POS terminals got stolen from those it was primarily issued to. Assuming they (POS) were truly stolen, who is/are behind linking those POS terminals to the accounts of these criminal elements? If they were truely stolen without having accounts to which it was linked changed, proceeds through it goes into the initial company's/individual's account and not into these criminal's account. So the question we should be asking ourselves is who are those insiders helping these criminals linked their account to stolen POS. If we truly want to fight this, the government can have all POS in the country decommissioned and have whoever possesses one re-register it with his/her banks. nairavsdollars: |

Will baby require biometrics (I doubt though) and medicals. 2. Do you have idea of the amount IRCC charges for baby's RPRF? 3. Can you clarify to me what @kingkhalil meant by saying he paid no other fee aside baby's @VFS. Please help clarify this also, so I don't spend unnecessarily. Stop saying this please. It is only a matter of time if we do not take cautions. Check attached statistics. USA as at Feb 21 had 16 cases but just today alone records approximately 2000 deaths. Please shelf the belief that Covid-19 does not thrive in hot climates. Are you among those who belief the statistics put forward by NCDC is the true representation of situation in Nigeria? There are several Nigerians infected who even themselves are not aware. I pray God help Nigeria and the world @ large to overcome this deadly virus (Amin) KingAzubuike:
