adexcube: All these canadian universities are really giving you guys some hectic work to do to get an admission. Am going to a flight school in Canada, I did everything through email--scanned all my certificates and did not even pay a dyme and I got my acceptance letter in jst one week. God bless our hustle. We will all meet in Canada IJN. I believe its because flight school are much more expensive and have lower amounts of candidates because of the nature of the profession. Goodluck with your TRV |

earthgreeners: Yes oo and my school asked me to pay in full before letter of acceptance could be issued.. Had to pay about 7300 dollars ...thereabout to get my admissions letter... I think they should ease things up a bit and make some clarification in that regard. Some of us had to pay in full before we could get the required documents to apply for study permit... Plus I shall be entering three months since I applied by next week.. Na wa oo.. Even with the fact that some of us still have other travel plans prior to school ... We cant even book our tickets.. Lets just pray after all this delay, we shall be answered favourably... |

Always state the truth in your applications. The worst that can be happen is rejection and/or reapplocation. Moreover we all should trust God that our success is not tied to a location.. Canads.. UK or Nigeria. We shall succeed with hardwork and God.. cheers everybody. Remember to be honest in all your dealings! 1 Like |

Hi Y'all.. I guess we should just chill on the hypertracking that we have all been doing .. that is those of us that have applied.. I read this info from the cic site "http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/temp/students.asp" Processing times for study permit applications processed by visa offices outside Canada The tables below indicate application processing times at Canadian visa offices outside Canada. The times are based on how long it took to process 80 percent of all cases between July 1, 2011, and June 30, 2012. Processing times are subject to change. Africa and Middle East Asia and Pacific Europe Americas Last update: August 20, 2012 Africa and Middle East Visa Office Processing Times IN WEEKS(based on a complete application package) United Arab Emirates 8 Accra – Ghana 4 Algiers – Algeria - Amman – Jordan 5 Ankara – Turkey 1 Beirut – Lebanon 6 Cairo – Egypt 5 Dakar – Senegal 8 Damascus – Syria 4 Harare – Zimbabwe - Lagos – Nigeria 19 Nairobi – Kenya 9 Pretoria – South Africa 15 Rabat – Morocco 5 Riyadh – Saudi Arabia 3 Tel Aviv – Israel 6 Tunis – Tunisia 7 As we can see.. earthgreeners: Enough of dis PFL thing, if u wanna advertise plz kindly do that in private, This thread doesnt support 'agency adverts'.. I was not advising.... just gave someone the best bet for obtaining admissions based on his grade ... a 3rd class.. I know how difficult and how much my brother wasted in getting admissions in paying application fees to four different schools based on d 3rd class grade as schools wont tell u outcome of application pending application and was just trying to give him the easiest way... or rather the best way to sort the issue without losing money. You do not have to be rude.. we all joined this thread to learn from each other. If you do not learn from a post or you are upset about a post, you can privately mail the individusl and not publicly castigate. Thank you. |

ferdiii: Yes they handle US.. UK and Canada admissions.. pls note that they secure admissions quite alright and give you excellent visa guidance but issuance of visa is based only on the documents you provide to the embassy and how you present your case, ties to Nigeria, etc |
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by Lutobi(m): 10:24am On Sep 11, 2012 |
LoveKing: can anyone help me with info on PGD programs in canadian universities? 3rd class in elect eng. any chance? what universities should i check to begin with? My advice.... A 3rd class doesnt mean there are no chances... Its going to be tough getting admissions on your own so the best bet is to use a recognised agency like PFL. The reason I said so is because in applying to different schools they will insist on you paying application fees of about 100 dollars before they tell you they can grant you admissions or not and I can bet you will try about 3 to 4 schools before you finally get in. and thats a lot of money already being spent. Best bet, use PFL (Preparation for Life), they will charge you an application fee (dont know how much it is now cos I used them during a promo period last year to secure my admissions)... They will send your application to various schools and the schools will get back to them on whether they can admit you without you having to pay any amount. Note that they will send your documents to different schools in your budget and they will worry about admissions for you... You can and will be admitted this way |

Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by Lutobi(m): 7:34pm On Sep 09, 2012 |
AugustApplicant: Yeah... I used PFL and that was the advise I got or instruction from them rather... I paid tuition in full... Plus it was even required by the school for me to make payment before my original admissions letter (not the scanned copy), which was I needed to take to the VAC was sent to me via courier.. |

Oya everybody sorry nah .. in other news its another week.. back to canadian immigration topics.. Was it right for me to have paid my tuition in full before applications were submitted. my sch.. thompson rivers didnt give me my final admissions letter until i paid in full... Hope the embassy doesnt see it as another thing... i however had about 4 million left in d account covering 2yr study expenses.. and included retirement funds.. payslips and land documents of my sponsor who happens to be my mum... so much come to mind of how better one could have put his applcation and this long wait period doesnt ease tins |
