Why launch a new programme when you have good existing ones. YOUWIN was a very good umbrella programme that was raising young & dynamic enterprenurs, why scrap it & at the same time relaunching same under a different name & launching something similar for agriculture alone. What is the sense in launching a new agriculture programme for youths in 6 month from now when you could have retained the laudable YOUWIN programme & incorporate the youths-4-agriculture project as an arm of it.

Fuel scarcity: NNPC can only supply 50% of Nigeria’s needs – IPMAN ON March 12, 2014 12:22 AM / IN News / Comments BY CHRIS OCHAYI ABUJA — THE Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, IPMAN, yesterday blamed the lingering nationwide fuel scarcity on the failure of the Federal Government to pay marketers for petrol imported into the country in the third and fourth quarters of last year. President of IPMAN, Abdulkadir Aminu who disclosed while addressing members at the expanded meeting of national executive and zonal coordinators in Abuja, said also that the current contraction in the supply of the products is a result of none payment of marketers subsidy. Aminu warned that the current fuel scarcity will not decline because there was a supply gap due to the fact that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, which is now the sole importer of fuel can only supply 50 percent of the country needs. How does this relate to south east? |

If u tot GEJ's regime was doing anything abt dem, den u where in lalaland! Just by implementing d TSA, GEJ didn't av d political will to activate, PMB has been able to save d country over #2trn that would otherwise av disappeared thru jungle expense sheets. Why he hasn't started spending it, into necessary areas is because he is insisting on senate approval(appropriation), which was not obtainable in d past, as a NOI will come out and say, GEJ approved her spending of $2b of our nation's wealth??!!
Now, our prayer, is for PMB to actually disburse those monies judiciously. We can see he has saved it, why shouldn't we believe he's gonna spend it right?
PMB only had 6mnths+ to implement GEJ's budget, yet we're winning against BH, FG pays salaries without borrowing, FG saves 2trn inspite of oil crunch, FG bails out d owing states n is still telling them to come for more, fuel crisis will be a truly be a thing of d past if dey can actually implement d storage system, power is where I'm expecting Fashola to step up his game.
Believe me, things can only get better. SMH! So you do not know that your FG borrowed $2 billion late last to finance it's supplementary budget. If comprehension is hard for you, compare how much N2,000 grocery you can get in 2013 to what you can get with same amount now. |

Take fuel: thruout d past regime, all d fuel scarcity was as a result of subsidy, no solution was tabled, just d same circle. Read Richard Branson assessment of doing Business in Nigeria, that will expose you more ! PMB travelling is needed to boost nigerian economy and improve our damage reputation with investors, he is giving them a new Nigeria a changing Nigeria, one where everyone has a good standard of living, sure its hard but which road to success is not hard? or don't you want your family to live above the poverty line ? . You keep confusing yourself, how does Buhari's global loitering relate with local fight against corruption or is EFCC & DSS Nigerian agencies in diaspora? Moreover, investors look at economic indices as pointers to where to put their money & Nigeria's GDP was growing at 8% annually with all the purported corruption & is now 2% with purported war on corruption, so leave investors first & mirror your own local economic growth in the past 12 months & see a nose-dive that has scared away investors & not any useless corruption chant. Corruption is in every country, they all manage to limit theirs & continue to grow the economy, Buhari & APC should not use anti-corruption as an excuse to kill our economy which they are succeeding to do so now while Buhari keeps loitering. |

Politics › Re: Wike On The Run As Amaechi Releases Shocking Statement by luvinhubby(m): 10:43pm On Mar 30, 2016 |
lanregbade: It was the typical Wike, twisting, butchering and turning the truth upside down; and in most cases telling outright deceptive lies in his failed bid to denigrate, tarnish and rubbish the towering image, person and laudable, landmark achievements of his predecessor and now Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi. “Most troubling, was Wike’s propensity, without any qualms whatsoever, to play politics with the safety and security of the lives of Rivers people. This is indeed most worrisome. “It is no secret that Wike plays politics with development, the welfare and well-being of Rivers people. But no government should play politics with the safety and security of its citizens like Wike is sadly and shamelessly doing. “Governor Wike claimed that the brutal political killings and murder of the All Progressives Congress (APC) members and other hapless citizens in the State are cult related or a result of cult clashes. What cult wars is he talking about? “Since he claimed to have security reports, we challenge Wike to tell Rivers people the cult group that Franklin Obi, the APC Ward chairman in Omoku, belongs to, that led to his being gruesomely beheaded and butchered, alongside his pregnant wife and teenage son. “Or did Franklin suddenly become a cult member because he had the guts and courage to host a resoundingly successful ward meeting of APC faithful in the same ward as Wike’s Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) State chairman, Felix Obuah, just a few days to the re-run elections? “We challenge Wike to tell us the cult groups and the cult wars that led to the killing of the innocent youth corper, Chukwudumeibi Okonta, on the re-run Election Day? Was the Youth Corper a cultist or victim of cult wars or yet another victim of politically motivated killings in Rivers State? “Wike must tell Rivers people the cult wars that led to the brutal murder of hundreds of Rivers people since the so-called election that made him governor, and the cult groups that all those that have been murdered, belong to. Wike’s cult wars/ cultists claim is akin to insulting and spitting on the graves and memories of all those murdered and their families. “With pity, we watched as Wike tried to compare the political killing of the late Okonta and INEC adhoc staff on the rerun election day in Rivers State to the fire accident that occurred at the home of the INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in Kano State days after the elections of 2015. How pathetic. Even for Wike, this is a new low. “On the Rivers Monorail project, Governor Wike said that he will not touch Amaechi’s monorail and that the entire state has told him not to continue with the project. Can someone please tell Wike that the monorail belongs to Rivers State and it’s not Amaechi’s private monorail? Pray, Governor Wike, which Rivers people told you not to touch the monorail project? Is it the same Rivers people that have consistently praised the project and see it as a catalyst to jump-start the local economy and place the state at the forefront of transport infrastructural development in Africa? Or is Wike aggregating the jaundiced views of the coterie of court-jesters that hang around him daily, as the opinion of the entire people of the State? It is sad, very sad that Wike has elected to play politics with this laudable project that was almost completed before Amaechi left office. “Governor Wike also described several ongoing projects in the State when Amaechi left office as ‘abandoned projects’ that he claimed to have completed or about to complete. He specifically mentioned the Ogoni-Andoni-Opobo Unity road that connects the Island of Opobo to Andoni and the rest of the State. What a shameless lie! This project was ongoing and was almost completed as at May 29, 2015. “May we also remind Wike that the Eagle Island- Diobu road that he once claimed to have been abandoned was 90 percent completed with just the final course of coal tar remaining as at when he succeeded Amaechi. “It’s repudiating that Wike would even attempt to rubbish and destroy the laudable projects and achievements Amaechi made in the health and educational sectors as governor. Shamefully, what has happened in the past months since Wike became governor is that Wike has neglected the model schools and health facilities built by Amaechi and have allowed them to rot away, taken over by weeds and grasses, in tandem with his policy of not wanting to touch Amaechi’s projects or build on Amaechi’s enduring legacies. Governor Wike, these projects belong to Rivers State and its people, not Amaechi. Thrash ! |

Doesn't it occur to you that these armed rustlers steal these cows and use them to disguise as Fulanis (herdsmen) in order to perpetrate their crimes?
How can the assumed rampaging, gun totting and matchete wielding Fulani herdsmen suddenly become so powerless that they are easily attacked and robbed of the cattle that they value so much? Where are the AK47'S and sharp machetes that they allegedly use to attack their victims? Did they suddenly disappear upon encountering the armed cow robbers? Since when did Fulani herdsmen decide to abandon their lucrative trade of providing meat, milk and leather for the nation in favor of killing and maiming innocent citizens?
The Army, FG and recently, even IPOB have revealed that the 'Fulani herdsmen' that have been accused of killings are actually BH terrorists and armed bandits in disguise.
If you still have not put the pieces together, the Army has just commenced the war against the armed bandits attacking Fulani herdsmen and stealing their cows in order to use as disguise to perpetrate their murderous terrorist agenda.
May God bless the NA and grant success to Operation Sharan Daji. So those rusted dane guns & matchettes are the sophisticated weapons & ak47s reportedly being used by herdsmen to kill in Agatu & Enugu states. |
