This was how Adolf Hitler incited the Germans against the Jews that led to the holocaust during WW2. Irrespective of party, tribe or religion, such an uncouth outburst of hatred spiced with politically jaundiced perception is to be condemned & resisted by all.
If Jimi wins & Igbos do not drown, that will make the oba a b.astard as he said, he will have to abdicate throne as no b.astard ascends any ancestral stool globally. |

Is Jimi Agbaje an Igbo man? Where is the domination in trying to vote in an indigene of a state that is obviously of a better character? |

At least three daily national newspapers cannot be wrong. Instead of weak effort at trying to correct what the oba said, the palace should come up with an unreserved apology to the Igbos and lets move on. The audio of his speech is readily available online, they should stop the denial abeg. |

^^^^^I hope you intend to modify the thrash you posted above. Democracy is all about expression of individual choice of leadership & not about personal choice of one monarch. Jimi & Ambode are both of the same tribe, why the bias from the oba. Let the majority will in lagos prevail & let no one threaten anybody to vote his/her preferred candidate. Let's downplay issues of tribalism, it will get us nowhere. HRM Oba Rilwan Akiolu is WRONG on this. |

Sorry, i don't believe this, oba Akiolu cannot utter those words. cirmuell: Bro lets be real here, places more dangerous & volatile than Borno up there get real time media coverages. Even if those guys didn't have the proper clearance, that doesn't justify NA holding them captive for that long, unless they really have something up their sleeves. Na we still go dey critize these media houses if they say NA is violating human rights, say you see am now?
*@bolded, it's 'cause you haven't experienced it. Pray you don't become a victim of a 'mistaken identity' in the hands of just NPF someday, na then you go know what's up. There is no case of mistaken identity here my friend, Al jazeerah has often times projected a false & incorrect assesment of the NA and the war on terror. Most times they ignore the positives while stressing the negatives unecceassarily thereby undermining the activities of the army, poisoning peoples mind against them & demoralising the fighting men, acts that obviously are a threat to national security & breaches existing intelligence protocol as covering fighting areas without millitary permission clearly do. The al jazeerah journalists got permission to cover the elections in Borno state, what led them into nocturnal coverage of fighting area without permission from the authorities even after the army had led journalists on a tour of the war zone. I only advice the army to put them on proper trial without prolonged detention and this they appear to be doing in handing them over to DSS. |

Toktee: what do you know about reporting on the frontline? Nigerian Army wanted to cover their weakness thereby denying all the journalist access to the war front,in syria/iraq where ISIS is ravaging the two countries, the whole war on terror is watched by the whole world, why is Nigerian case different? The reason is that, prior to election,Jonathan in a league with the army, wanted to tell nigerians what they want to hear, and that is exactly what they were doing vha olukolade, the presence of Aljazeera there was seen as distraction, period. And the foreign press goes into war zones without millitary clearance in Syria is what you are saying?. |

cirmuell: I hope you get detained someday with all your rights denied, then you'll know how it feels. I don't know when Nigerians will start using the proper channels in handling stuffs. If i do anything illegal or without due process, i will not cry injustuce when penalised. Those aljazeerah journalists knew the area was under millitary operation & went in there without proper clearance for their useless scoop meant to ridicule the army. Let them face the music. |

When some islamic jihadists murdered journalists & others in the charlie hebdo attack in France, the whole world & global leaders rose in vociferous condemnation of the attack and attackers, so much so that even some hardline muslims & the muslim world at large joined in discrediting the attackers and their purported motives in the attack. Few days ago, a group of 4 armed islamic extremists from al shabbab millitants stormed a university in Kenya & killed 147 kenyan STUDENTS in cold blood & the world, especially the influential western media just made passive mention of it. Miroslavklose: Guys, i really need your help and advice, especially from the experienced folk.
My car is 2007 Accord 2.4l American spec.
Its a 2014 California imported to Nigeria.
Just started driving it in March from previous user.
I think the fuel economy is very very poor.
Car drives very very smooth. No single issue.
No single check light.
I scanned the car myself and checked everything with the best scanners. NO SINGLE FAULT anywhere.
The car is still in factory mode and no mechanic has touched or changed any setting put therein by Manufacturer. So its not about thermostat or any thing else
I've changed air filter I've changed factory plugs with the original G power platinum plugs cost 4000 naira to buy
I'm supposed to be getting city drive 20-22 mpg highway 25-26mpg but with my highway/city drive, I get 15mpg which people in Nigeria can say 4 miles per litre or 6.3 km per litre.
I do 18miles per day from home to office via 3rd Mainland bridge (9 miles from home and another 9miles from Island to home). see the outcome below
This Morning yesterday 2/4/2015, I refilled the tank
The gauge was at half tank
I checked the miles and it was exactly 148 Miles
I refilled the tank back with 35 litres on the fuel dispensing metre
Last week, It was 138miles =35litres
This week in which there was very little traffic and i drove alot of high ways like 8 miles non stop to Church and another 8 miles non stop from church, i achieved 148miles =35litres
This is still crazy.
I need your help before i go mad completely with the car.
Please suggest way out of this mess
Thanks If your scan results are ok as you said, then you may have an issue with your ECU as your said consumption pattern is crazy. |

PassingShot: Save us the preaching.
GEJ had no choice than to concede defeat because the whole world was watching. The worst he could have done was to go to court.
APC have not easily conceded defeat because PDP always rig and we all know that. They rig using the State Security outfits such as the military, the police and DSS.
GEJ is a democrat and he oversaw Ekitigate and the sacking of 19 lawmakers by four?
GEJ is a democrat and he oversaw the Governors Forum election where 16 was greater than 19?
GEJ's democratic credentials were next to zero. Conceding defeat to GMB is the only thing that has saved him from further ridicule and you guys should stop hyping it because he got no choice really. Am not here to hold brief for GEJ, my drive is that Nigerian politicians in general & APC in particular should learn to embrace politics on celebrating victory & accepting defeat & stop using 'rigging' as an excuse to raise tension in the nation any time poll results do not favour them. You can never win everything at all times. |

OdenigboAroli2: Jonathan is not as desperate as Tinubu or Buhari. APC, Buhari & Tinubu has a lot to learn from Goodluck Jonathan on the true spirit of democracy which is NOT about winning all the time as they have never conceeded defeat in all their elections in Nigeria, whether in local govts, states or national polls. All the tension, anxiety & probable violent bloodshed anticipated in the last election was generated by APC. |

We do not need this from anyone at times in our history, Nigeria needs to be great again & all hands should be on deck irrespective of tribe or political affiliation to achieve this. GEJ still has a big role to play in this nation, especially, calming the millitants as he did under Yar'dua & not look the other way as Buhari did on the issue boko haram. |
