Car jerks aggressively at idle with gear in drive and AC on. Had to tune up the RPM to get to idle properly now RPM is on 1000 instead of 600 it used to be.

This is impacting fuel economy, Check engine light is on as well.

Good day everyone. I was driving today and a 'CHECK FUEL CAP" sign started flashing on my dash. I already made sure the the fuel cover is closed properly but the warning is still there. Car is 2007 Accord. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Open and re tighten fuel cap, drive a while for the light to clear off, if it does not, disconnect battery terminal and retight.

Good afternoon,

I noticed my honda CRV 2008 is making some funny noise under the hood. Dropped it off at one of this filling station that does alignment and servicing. Came bk and the guy said its a camshaft issue. He said he help top up the transmission fluid also(my first issue). We agreed that he shud get current estimate of fixing the camshaft and that of replacing the engine.
On my way home, i noticed that the engine revvs up a bit at idle ( just go btw 600 and 1000rpm) and the noise is now more audible. Almost like a coin is playing around.

Got home and decided to scan with my small scanner. Got the following codes:
P1009
P0011
C0030
P2185(this has been there a while though).

Whats the bess way forward?

Check the camshaft sensor and vtech sensor. Likely blocked as a result of low grade or dirty engine oil.

The O2 sensor and temperature switch on the engine are likely bad as well.

You can refill with Oando DEXTRONIII temporarily, pending when you are able to get the genuine DW1

If the car rpm is not rising above a particular when revved on park, engine. If gear does not select on acceleration, gear.
Your D blinking shows gear has an issue, start with replacing burnt fluid.
The sluggish movement may range from spark plugs, coil, nozzles or pump.

The car moved fine yesterday from ikorodu to ikeja and then to ojodu. What could be problem please?

Evening guys, my EOD 2004 steering is stiff and noticed a whirring noise 4rm the pump , i decided to perform a steering fluid flush, which i have and also changed the o-ring at the pump inlet hose.

The noise has stopped because i also bled it via the help of YouTube video, but still the steering is hard, especially when i m on low speed or nearing a stop sometimes it frees up and sometimes it gets stiff. I also noticed leakages beneath the pump area, i have loosed out the pump, i want to know if the leakage is stopped will the steering wheel become easier to steer or do i have to replace the pump entirely to solve the problem?
