My Accord 2008 pulled these ABS codes:
1.VSA solenoid valve malfunction
2. Ecm/PCM relation failure
3. Abs left rear outlet solenoid valve malfunction
4. Abs Right front outlet solenoid valve malfunction
5. Right front magnetic encoder malfunction

Issues with your ABS module, Camshaft position sensor, Crankshaft sensor, Oxygen sensor bank 1 and 2 & possibly your brain box

Car was bought Nigerian used 6months ago, was badly maintained by the seller.
Note: fans were connected directly before purchase.

Car has been driving well since then, (daily driven) but I want to start using it personally and want it restored properly.

There is a Honda Accord 07 manual drive, it breaks speed at around 100km/he or 3000rpm, the engine remains on until the speed reduces less than 100km/hr , the accelerator works again. This happens always, only may be once out of 10 journeys will it forget to break/cut speed.
It happens at every gear level, but gear 5 last long before break.

What can be done? Or what's the problem?

Besides, is there still tokunbo engine for Honda bullet 1998, if yes, where or who has it. I need one fast.

Hi guys. Please I’d like to ask what can be done to a Honda Civic 2003 that blinks “””D””” Drive gear light once it’s engaged.

I scanned and it gave me a P0758 Cose which translated to problem in shift solenoid valve B. I removed and cleaned the solenoids but the issue still persists.

Although a rewire serviced it previously but it works and stops.

Recently it stopped working and blinks almost immediately you put the car into gear.

I took the time to remove and clean solenoid myself. Tested it with a battery and seems only one part clicks.

Kindly advise peeps.

Replace the gear solenoid.

Good morning gurus.

Did a steering pump hose change on my Honda Pilot 2007. Put in Honda DW1 ATF (likely fake) and the steering pump has been whining.
The pump was fine prior to the change of hose and oil
Went back to mechanic, he washed the steering oil container and changed to Abro ATF and the whining continued. He said it'll stop.
It just occurred to me we might be using a wrong oil.
Please what are the options I've for power steering oil.
I don't know how available these things are in Anambra plus the excess fake. And getting things from luvinhubby in Lagos might be difficult cause of the lock down.
Please help me with options so I can search in the market here for now

It is not the fluid, takes a little while for bad steering fluids to eat up seals and rings and cause damage to steering pumps.
The hose you changed is the issue. Get a good hose, if a possible, a good fairly used one and replace, bleed and start, pump should be okay.

I changed the Shift solenoid of my Transmission but the car is not shifting after 80Km/h, it just disengages it and starts revving.

Then the D light starts blinking and at that stage I get a smooth drive with smooth shifting. Although sometimes i notice I lose power at some point.

What could be the issue??

Do a scan, if possible, when the D light is blinking.

Possible that the shift solenoid replaced is not performing optimally

2. What is the common problem usually associated with the 8th generation?
3. What kind of maintenance would I have to carry out on it to keep it in good shape?

4 cylinder, 2.4 engine.

Rattling of camshaft actuator (nothing to worry about)

Change fluids regularly and avoid fake fluids, replace key suspension components once a year.

If the engine jumped timing, it has been worked on.
If you attempt to repair and it fails, the seller will not accept it back from you and time is of essence in transactions involving engine and transmissions as the guarantee period is between 1-2 weeks, after that, you are on your own.


Bottom line, return engine for replacement

Hi everyone I need urgent help .
I have a Honda Civic 2008 , car had bad tensioner , it makes noise in the morning but stops later in the day , few days ago the car stopped on the road and refuse to start , mechanic said kick starter was bad , he removed and took to a repairer , after replacing kick starter , check engine light came on and stayed. While trying to replace kick mechanic broke the temp sensor switch and he later replaced it , after two cars car became so hot and oil dip stick melted inside , tensioner noise increased and cut the belt eventually , we towed to workshop and mechanic advised replacement . We brought engine and gear out , cleaned and replaced parts with another new kick starter , after all installations car didn't start but smoke burst out of kick starter yet car didn't start , mechanic said engine is gone , the engine had no issues before all the mechanic interventions , please help .

Good day all,
I had an unresolved issue with my civic 02, each time I drives it on hot weather, after moving like 5kms on high speed it reduce d speed by itself gradually and stopped moving, when the car cool for sometimes it moved perfectly again and slowing down gradually again and continues like that.....the problem only happened if am going on long journey. when I first scanned the car the engineer said my gear censor is bad, we replaced the censor three times there was no changes, I service the gear completely it did yield any positive result, the I changed the gear last year but the problem still persists. I was introduced to another mechanic early this year he suggested so many things that might be the problem of the car which I obliged to fixed but non of them work. among what we have done on the car are; fixing of thermostat, servicing engine and gear censor, changes of radiator, fans, fuel pump, plugs, nozzles, top gasket e.tc. sorry for long explanation and seek pardon for some topographical and grammatical errors.
