Demigods: from iOS to Windows 10. |

Windows 10 is out on July 29th and the big news is that it’s going to be free for Windows 7 and 8 users for a a year. There are six (yes, SIX) different versions of Windows 10 that will be available. So much for Microsoft simplifying Windows! Six versions of Windows 10 sounds pretty confusing but you won’t have to worry about the business versions of the operating system (your IT department will worry about that). To help you decide which version of Windows 10 is for you, here are all the different versions and how they’re different. Windows 10 Home For most people, Windows 10 Home is the version to get. This version will include all the new features of Windows 10 like Cortana, Microsoft Edge, Continuum tablet mode, facial recognition, and the ability to run “universal apps” that you download from the Windows Store. If you’ve been using Windows 8, expect a similar experience but with more polish and upgraded features. If you’re jumping from Windows 7, you’re in for quite a shock. Microsoft reworked the interface to be more intuitive for desktop users, creating a hybrid of the traditional Windows 7 Start Menu and the Windows 8 app launcher. Users with 2-in-1 machines (laptops that can turn into tablets) can also use Windows 10 Home. Windows 10 will automatically switch from desktop to tablet mode depending on how you’re using your device. Gamers are also going to want to upgrade to Windows 10 Home as it integrates with the Xbox One, allowing players to access Xbox One games from their Windows 10 laptop or desktop. Windows 10 Pro Windows 10 Pro is aimed at small businesses who want employees to bring their own device. Pro users will get all Windows 10 Home features of but also get powerful tools to help manage sensitive data and a group of devices. Windows 10 Pro gives small businesses access to Windows Update for Business, which means all the devices for your business will be automatically updated with the latest security patches. Windows 10 Mobile (RIP Windows Phone) Windows Phone is dead and will be rebranded as Windows 10 Mobile. The operating system will look and feel the same but with a lot of under-the-hood changes. All Windows 10 Mobile devices will come with a free version of Microsoft Office designed for touch. One of the biggest announcements is Windows 10 Mobile will make it easy for developers to port Android and iOS apps to Windows 10 Mobile. If Microsoft can convince developers to port their apps, the company will fix the lack of apps that’s been plaguing its mobile operating system. However, this is a double edge sword as developers will be less likely to develop apps designed specifically for Windows 10 Mobile, leading to a subpar experience. Editor’s note: The Windows 10 versions below will not be free upgrades. Windows 10 Mobile Enterprise This mobile version of Windows 10 will be for large companies who want to buy bulk licensing for its employees. This version will feature all the security and IT features large companies expect from a mobile operating system. Windows 10 Enterprise While Windows 10 Pro is more for small businesses, Windows 10 Enterprise is for medium to large sized organizations. Companies will be able to manage security, app deployment, and updates. Windows 10 Education No, this isn't going to be a discounted version of Windows 10 for students and staff. Windows 10 Education will be for schools to deploy on their computers, featuring all the same abilities as Windows 10 Pro but with volume licensing. Not as confusing as it looks Yes there are six version of Windows 10 but most users will end up with Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Mobile. The main differentiation between the versions are for businesses managing a ton of devices. Windows 10 Home will support desktop, tablets, and convertible devices, which is a good thing. Microsoft imagines Windows 10 will be the last numbered version of the operating system, turning it into a service rather than something you have to buy. xreal:Snakes regularly eat items 75 to 100 percent their size, because their jaw is rigged with tendons, muscles, and ligaments that give the jaw a gymnast's. Pythons especially, can get pretty big, big and scary enough to eat almost anything no matter the size. They’ve been known to eat their owners, sheep, deers and even alligators. |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0dEIBE4Jw54 The bloated 13ft African rock python was found dead with dozens of quills from the spiky 2st porcupine piercing its belly. When this snake decided a plump porcupine would make a nice meal, it clearly did not anticipate his food would be having its revenge. This bloated 13ft African rock python ate itself to death after its innards were punctured with dozens of quills from the spiky 2st rodent. It was discovered by a mountain biker, lying next to a cycle track at Lake Eland Game Reserve, near Port Shepstone, South Africa. Reserve managers found it python dead beneath a rocky ledge, where it had been trying to digest its final meal. Reserve general manager Jennifer Fuller said: "The exact reasons for the snake's death are not clear. "It is apparent that several porcupine quills were lodged inside the digestive tract. "It had fallen off the rocky ledge. "We don't know if it died beforehand, or whether the fall drove some of the quills into its digestive tract." Whereas some predators will be warned off by the visual threat displays of a porcupine, many snake species rely on thermal or chemical sensory mechanisms to ambush prey at night. This means they often do not see the spikes until it is too late. source: http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/weird-news/python-eats-itself-death-after-5939756

What seemed to be an extreme act of revenge by a husband against a cheating spouse turned out to be a marketing campaign by a German legal information company. It was a parting statement - literally. A newly-divorced German man, "Martin", recorded himself sawing all his possessions in half, and then put them up for sale on eBay. The internet and international media - from Mashable and Fox News in the US to RT in Russia and Press TV in Iran - lapped up the story of the perfect revenge which emerged from Germany. A video of the man using power tools to cut his mobile phone, furniture, television set and car in half has racked up more than 5 million views on YouTube. Simply titled "For Laura", the opening words translate as: "Thank you for 12 'beautiful' years Laura !!!!! You've really earned half, greetings to my successor." The man also appeared to put up 16 items for sale on eBay, including half of a bicycle and a slice of an iPhone: But as it turns out, that was not the half of it (er, pun intended). In fact the whole stunt was the creation of Deutsche Anwaltauskunft, an information portal for the German Bar Association. The lawyers' group confessed on their website, saying both the husband and his story were fakes. "The idea behind it was to humorously point to a problem that is not only relevant in Germany: Too few married couples take precautions for the case of a possible separation - for example with a marriage contract. The event of divorce then often ends in bitter fights under which not only cars and furniture suffer but especially the affected couples and their children." Apologizing to everyone who was "teased" in the name of highlighting divorce law, the association added: "Hopefully, at least, you felt well entertained." The items on eBay do exist, though, and will be auctioned off, with proceeds donated to charity. video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZHLg_9DGbSg source: http://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-trending-33224187

Nigeria’s first indigenous automobile manufacturer, Innoson Motors Nigeria Limited, has slammed a N30 billion suit against Guarantee Trust Bank, GTB, as a result of damages the company suffered following an ex parte order of Mareva Injunction, which GTB applied and obtained, freezing Innoson’s accounts in all the banks in Nigeria. However, on June 10, Justice Saliu Saidu of the Federal High Court, Lagos, in a considered ruling set aside the ex parte order of September 1, 2014 and the writ of summons as well. The running legal battle between Innoson and GTB started when Innoson challenged the action of Nigerian Customs Service for auctioning its goods. In a Garnishee Order Absolute, the court had ordered GTB to pay Innoson N2,048,737,443.67 from Customs account. Rather than comply with the Garnishee Order Absolute of the court, GTB on February 6, 2015 appealed the judgment, but the Court of Appeal in Appeal no. CA/1/258/2011 affirmed the judgment of the Federal High Court and ordered GTB to pay the judgment debt of N2,048,737,443.67 to Innoson. GTB, instead, appealed to the Supreme Court against the Court of Appeal’s decision. In another suit, Innoson sued GTB for imposing excess and unlawful charges on the company’s account with the bank amounting to N559 million. The trial court gave a N4.7 billion judgment in favour of Innoson. GTB subsequently appealed the judgment of the Awka High Court, but the Court of Appeal, Enugu Division, upheld the judgment and ordered GTB to pay the judgment debt, which stood at over N5.7 billion, into an interest-yielding account in the name of the Chief Regi-strar of the Court of Appeal. However, GTB has appealed to the Supreme Court. source: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/06/innoson-slams-n30-billion-suit-on-gtbank/ |

michaelobinna: This got me rolling "Can you imagine, he does not recognize ‘it’!"Well...let's just assume it's not you like you said I think you need to complete your script by eventually letting him meet his supposed girlfriend soon.If he really fell for those things you've been sending him every morning, I see no reason why he won't still fall even after the truth has been revealed. What i think is the problem between you guys is lack of communication and flirtation . You both should better channel your energy In-house and not the way it has been.Good luck!!! |
