Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana has returned to full training but he will not be in contention to face West Brom.

Manager Jurgen Klopp is set to make changes again, however, with Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino due to start having been rested at the weekend.

Jurgen Klopp has defended his comments in his post-match interview following Sunday's Merseyside derby

"If we had the squad last year we would have done it last year," said Klopp. "For all these games I really think if we have the quality in the squad that we have we have to use it."

If the Baggies fail to win at Liverpool on Wednesday it would stretch their winless run to 16 games in all competitions, the longest in their 139-year history.

Albion are only above the Premier League relegation zone on goal difference after Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Swansea. They have not won since August and have conceded seven goals in the final 16 minutes of games to lose 12 points this season.

Liverpool have smashed Manchester United’s Champions League record after hammering Spartak Moscow in their final group game on Wednesday evening.
Jurgen Klopp’s side ran out 7-0 winners at Anfield, with Philippe Coutinho bagging a hat-trick, Sadio Mane netting twice, plus Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino also got on the scoresheet.
Liverpool’s comfortable win has meant that they ended Group H with 23 goals scored in just six games – the most any English side has scored in the group stage in Champions League history.
The previous record was set by Manchester United in 1998 when Sir Alex Ferguson’s side scored 20 goals in their group which included Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Brondby.

Harry Kane will be among those rested for Tottenham's final Champions League group game with the team's progress to the knockout stages already assured.
Kane, Spurs' top scorer with 16 goals this season, will miss Apoel Nicosia's visit to Wembley along with midfielders Christian Eriksen and Eric Dier.
Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and right-back Kieran Trippier will also be rested.
However, midfielder Dele Alli will play as he attempts to regain his form after an indifferent start to the season.
The 21-year-old was one of the stars of Tottenham's Premier League campaign last season, scoring 18 goals in 37 games as his side finished second behind Chelsea.
But, despite scoring twice in the 3-1 win over defending European champions Real Madrid, he has generally struggled to recreate that form this term.
"I think I am my own biggest critic," Alli said.
"Every time I know when I'm not playing well and if it's not going well for me, it's important that I keep working hard and trying every day to learn and improve as a player.
"It's been a good opportunity for me to learn more about myself as a player and as a person, so I'm looking forward to it and I've got to keep enjoying it."
Manager Mauricio Pochettino said it was too early to say when central defender Toby Alderweireld might return to fitness after claims that he could be missing until April.
"I think it is misinterpreted or something. What I am sure is it will not take 14 weeks more," he said.
Midfielder Victor Wanyama will miss the meeting with the Cypriot champions with a knee injury while Erik Lamela, just back from a hip problem, is ineligible as he was not included in the club's initial Champions League squad.
Fernando Llorente, Georges-Kevin Nkoudou and Juan Foyth are expected to be given a chance in the dead rubber.
Apoel need to better Borussia Dortmund's result against Real Madrid in Group H's other match to be certain of finishing third and securing a spot in the Europa League.

This is the second competitive meeting between Tottenham and Apoel after the English side's 3-0 win in Nicosia back in September.
No Cypriot side has ever beaten English opposition in European competition in 14 attempts, drawing three and losing 11.
However, Apoel's only previous away trip to face an English club ended in a 2-2 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the 2009-10 Champions League group stages.
Tottenham have faced Cypriot opposition more times than any other English club in European competition, scoring 15 goals and conceding only three in those five games. They won four and drew one of these previous games.
Tottenham have won their last three Champions League games at Wembley, all by the same scoreline of 3-1.
Apoel are winless in their last 13 Champions League games, drawing three and losing 10. They have also failed to score in nine of those 13 outings.

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo deserves more respect despite his lack of La Liga goals this season, says boss Zinedine Zidane.
Ronaldo, 32, has scored eight of Real's 14 Champions League Group H goals to help the 12-time winners reach the last-16 as runners-up to Tottenham.
No player has scored more Champions League goals than Ronaldo, but he has just two La Liga goals this season.
"Write Cristiano off at your peril," said Zidane.

Defending champions Real host German club Borussia Dortmund at the Bernabeu on Wednesday.
While the Spanish side have qualified as group runners-up, Dortmund, who are third in the group, need to avoid defeat to guarantee a place in the Europa League.
However, all the pre-match talk in Spain has been about Ronaldo's lack of domestic goals as Zidane's side trail leaders Barcelona by eight points in the La Liga table.
"We have to give Cristiano a bit more support and show more respect," added the Real manager.

The match has come too soon for Gareth Bale to make a comeback from his latest injury.

However, he missed last weekend's goalless draw at Athletic Bilbao with a recurrence of a calf injury.
"He still hasn't trained with us," added Zidane.
"He's out on the pitch doing bits, but not alongside the team."
Zidane said Bale would "certainly" be travelling with the squad later this month to the United Arab Emirates for the 2017 Fifa Club World Cup tournament.

It is only four years since Borussia Dortmund lost to Bayern Munich in the 2013 Champions League final.
Yet this season's campaign in the competition has been a huge disappointment.
They must beat Real to avoid finishing winless in a Champions League group stage for the first time in their history.
Dortmund, who cannot advance in the competition, have arrived in Spain's capital without Maximilian Philipp.
The winger, 23, is out for several months after he suffered a serious injury to his kneecap in Saturday's Bundesliga draw at Bayer Leverkusen.
Dortmund will miss out on a Europa League spot if they lose to Real and Apoel Nicosia stop Tottenham from winning at Wembley.

This is the 10th game between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League since 2012-13, more than any other fixture in the competition over that period.
Dortmund are winless in their past seven Champions League games (D2 L5). Failure to beat Real would establish their longest ever run without a win in the competition.
