Mark Hughes will consider shaking up his selection against the visitors, whom he plans to "nullify."

“We will certainly contemplate changes because we are facing tough weeks leading into Christmas now, so most clubs will try and use their resources, just as we will," he said.

“We are playing against a high-quality team, who will test us, but I fully expect us to give a real good account of ourselves.

"We are facing a player in Mohamed Salah who is clearly in the best form of his Liverpool career. We can't be overly concerned with one player though because they have match winners all over the pitch.

Midfielder Can has a muscular injury that could see him miss out, but Lallana might make his first appearance of the season.

They're still all bombing forward at 3-0, they can't defend, and Sevilla had good chances in the first half.

If both teams play to the best of their ability, Chelsea will win. They have better players: better defenders, and there's not much in it attacking-wise. And Liverpool don't have a Cesc Fabregas to properly hurt you.

I have an inkling this will be a draw at Anfield, however, and that does neither side any favours.

Media reports said Klopp had told Liverpool’s medical staff he was feeling ill, and the 50-year-old German was urged to go to a hospital for further tests.

“He is being assessed by doctors and will be absent from training on Wednesday as a result,” the club said in a statement.

Liverpool did not say whether the former Borussia Dortmund coach, who is expected to take part in a pre-match press conference on Friday, will return to training or if he will be on the Anfield bench on Saturday.

Should Klopp be absent this weekend it will be the second game he has missed for Liverpool because of ill health.
