kode12: Hello house, Anyone booked Schenghen visa to Netherlands recently? I've been trying to find an appointment for weeks now and I've been unable to come up with any. Anyone with info to book ASAP please, let me know. I need to be in NL for a conference in a few weeks. Thanks. Hi My friend and I were able to get dates within a week of search, different applications. You just have to keep checking anytime you can, more than twice a day. I was always seeing Edinburgh but kept searching till I got Manchester for October. A few weeks is close, hopefully you get a date early enough and not sure a walk-in is permitted for Netherlands. |

maestro03: No you do not have to enter the US through the state you applied with.
I had a similar experience in 2014. I applied to visit Philadelphia, but ended up going to Florida. 1st timer in the US. I was apprehensive as well but the truth is plans can legitimately change and I guess they realize that as well so your decision to change your trip wouldn't be used against you. Besides, its been almost a year since you were issued the visa, a lot can happen in that period. Thank you. Planning to visit Florida as well. |

Hello guys
I got my visa about a year ago but not used it yet. Do I have to enter the US through the state I applied with even though its been a year since I got this visa? I am currently planning to visit a different state and hoping I wont have any issues at port of entry over this.
Thanks |

Interview held in London Questions I remember: What are you doing in the UK? Studying, Masters What course are you studying? Answered (nerves made me stutter) What is the name of your school? Answered with name of the city where the school is How are you sponsoring you school fees? Its been paid in full with support of parents Do you work? Yes, but only part-time since I am studying Where do you work? Answered with job title Have you been to the US before? No, I have not Why do you want to go to the US? Visit a close friend and explained I was invited Where will you be staying? My friend will be providing accommodation at his place Where does your friend live? Answered Is your friend a citizen? Yes What is your friend's name? Answered How will you sponsor your trip? Myself and Parents How long have you been in the UK? Almost a year, came in August last year. Do you have family in the UK? Yes (mentioned the relationship) The VO smiled all through (and so did I...I think) She said some things I didn't hear clearly but as I saw her keeping my passport with her, I realized she said 'your visa has been granted' and something about email notification. I smiled and said thank you...then walked away Thanking God. Now it seems like many questions but it felt like 2 minutes back then. JaySterling: Can you please share your transcript |

It doesn't have to be 6 months. I got mine two months to my course end date. Pray and stay positive. JaySterling: I am sponsoring my own trip
Do I stand a chance of getting the visa? Given that my program ends in 3 months?
Someone said it must be 6 months
And also considering my previous denial ? Omo, I’m scared |

I would say no since there are no immediate relatives. Plus saying yes may lead to further questions that you may not have answers to. Tkulthenoble: Hi my people, please I have a question and a bit worried about asnwering VO regarding relatives in the state as my inetrview is next month. I dont have any immediate relative in the US so when I was filling my DS-120 in january I put a friend I met virtually. she invited me to her wedding last year but coudnt make it to the wedding due to lack of interview slot and all that here in dubai. So my bottom line I cant remember what exactly I filled in the relative in the US maybe yes or no. If VOs ask me if I have any relative in the US what do you think I should answer as I cant remember what I filled but I remeber that I put this my friend I met virtually all her details and her husband's details as someone I know in the state. Thank you |

There is England, London or Northern Ireland, Belfast depending on your preference. perrol: Can someone answer my question please, am trying to fill Ds 160 from UK, but I didn't see any country under UK which I can choose as country from where you are applying from. Please anyone with experience on how I can apply for visitor visa to US from UK ( don't forget am on study visa). Thanks |
