One major disadvantage of encouraging people to point finger at authority and shout corruption is that this eventually blinds people to the concept of self help. Part of our difficulty in Nigeria is that those that castigate the idea of self help, because they fear it may cause people not to blame government enough, have unfortunatly won.

I think both shd be looked at critically. Govt is elected for reasons which amongst other includes its cascading effect cos it is easier top-down than down-up. No separation between the people and its government so none of them should be excused. For university case, it is still like the Govt and the "people" where the money sent by the government (FG) will still be embezzled by the people (the school authority). Hope it's clearer, never fall for the antics you earlier painted else you will always be lopsided.

I did everything a good friend can do for someone hevcares for. no need for long talk. The reason we the abroadian hardly respond to some our folks messages is that they like to change every conversation or chat to monetary favour. I was chatting with my cousin and the next thing she said "you just forget me oo, I dey hungry oo., I need money" can u imagine that rubbish? Most people don't even know how to have a prosper conversation without resorting to financial favor. The main reason abroadian don't respond to some people in naija is because y'all like to use every conversation as financial opportunity as if we are picking the money from tree .
