I can see you're about to get emotional about your decision. This is altho complicated but believe me there may be more than meet the eyes. Stay away from him for the moment till you are satisfied with your personal research about the missing years. It is glaring he didn't use those years well. Maybe due to his personal fault or things beyond his control. What if he has many hidden past, maybe crime, within this years. He is a stranger now please be wary!

In as much as I agree with you, unfortunately, the cost of generating electricity and crude oil price is almost same everywhere in the world. So you don't have to complain about the new price. Government cannot continue to fund the differential instead of using the money to invest in capital projects. This is all our fault. We as aNigerians are not productive enough, we depend on government for everything plus we love consuming foreign products. Government also has been useless for so many years.

Income and expenditure varies largely between us. For instance, comparing basic rent in Lagos with Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Direct comparison doesn't work. Earning power is stronger in one clime than the other. What's the federal rate in the two climes? Does $8.25 per hour compare with ₦18k per month?

he was paid close to 7m this year for pension, again the way this country is going government workers are improving cos I remember many years back when there is nothing for them, if you wanna go for the other you should learn how to invest later because anything can happen.

Nonsense and height of cluelessness. You locked them out, their planes won't come again. We indirectly lock ourselves in or at best create an unfair rise in price in air fare cost based on increased demand and less supply of airline operators to commute. If we have had Nigerian Air (or what name is that failed project called), we would have had good trades of commuting people to their destination and make money that will lead to an improved economy.
