Sweetnecta: @Macdaddy01: how possible, if there were people alive before the first jew? The man Adam [as] was neither jew by religion nor by tribe. But a man, the first man, long before Noah [as] and the flood that came in his time.lol......you need to read up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rOn4vYwa0w |
You should not let those people turn you into a darker person, just bear in mind that you are bound to face things like that when you engage in religious arguments and try to steel yourself against their actions. Whatever. I prefer logicboy to MacDaddy.
![]() |
Lol, but your Op already assumes that [following Christ = Goodness]
Nope |
Ok, but you type different.
I have become a bit darker. After being banned unfairly, I dont hesitate to lash out. I have seen the ugly soul of many religionists here on Nairaland who lack sympathy and common sense for unbelievers. |
Interesting. . . .You are making a claim here that a child is immature simply because of his age. You are equally making a claim that even if the child has the ability, it is child abuse for the child to bear the responsibilities for which he is able. According to you the motivations are not the child's but the parent's. I put it to you that you cannot objectively show that in all cases of child-geniuses that the child is being forced to perform against his/her will. I put it to you that it is equally child abuse to deny a child the use of an ability that he is capable of if he is able to bear the responsibilities thereof. I put it to you that denying a child the right to do something that is morally good and he is both able and willing to do solely based on his numerical age is discrimination much like racism and sexism. The only criteria that should matter here is if the child truly has the ability to carry that responsibility.
Shut up. You are becoming a serial sophist like Dinesh Desouza! an 11 year old child doesnt have the experience to be a preacher. He lacks the social experience (engaging with married adults, clubbing) the adult responsibilities (paying bills, taxes, raising a family) and cognitive ability (ie reasoning from past experiences aforementioned). You can twist and turn however you like but this htread has exposed you for the disingenuous cretin you are. Trying to imply that an 11 year old can be able to be a preacher. Shameless |
.....and your manner of approach was to show that atheists are hypocrites and are really closet christians....Lol!
Yes because good = christians Epic fail |
Interesting how you despise christanity but want to be seen as a christian. You even want christians to endorse your "christianity". You're trying to show us how as an atheist, you are really a follower of Christ.........lol, you amuse me. Anyway you are welcome. Jesus loves you all the same.....and I'll be the first to embrace you as my brother as soon as you recieve Christ.
Go and embrace transformer. The point of this thread is to show that some christians are hypocrites |
Are you kidding me? Logicboy was more coherent and trolled less than MacDaddy.
I am logicboy. |
D sage: Time and spaces will not permit me to explain fully but in short; You are talking nonsense. Ijaw, Urhobo and Itsekiri are all different people. Only god knows where you got your misinformation from The first people in the world are from Africa. Get your facts right |
Sweetnecta: if its foreign to Mankind, Adam [as] would not have been muslim.Adam is a jewish/HEBREW name. Adam and Eve were never the first people in the world. The first people were from Africa and not the middle east. Sweetnecta: if its arab religion, all arabs would have been muslims.non sequitur. Your premise does not follow the conclusion. The Quran is in Arabic. You face Mecca. Sorry, it is an Arab tradition |
Uyi Iredia: MacDaddy are you sure you are not turning yourself into logicboy with all your threads on this section. Now you start again with a misleading post on both Christianity & Islam. Your post will only be valid if a Christian or Muslim has actually answered those questions as you stated. doubt that they have.I am logicboy My post on christianity and islam are factual and I do not need to appeal to authority |
Uyi Iredia: @ bolded I beg to differ. Atheists are normal people and can't have been said to achieve mental sovereignty anywhere or anyhow. In fact they display crass ignorance in being blind to the evidence for God's existence - the universe. The universe is proof of God? Wow, you keep showing your ignorance. |
Uyi Iredia: If you can believe so-called apelike ancestors turning into men. And thed universe popping out of nothingness . . . with the help of nothing ! I sure can defend talking donkeys and 'moving stars'.This is how Uyi Iredia exposes ignorance 1) He was told to explain talking snakes/donkeys and he changed the topic to evolution and big bang. Straw man 2) "Apelike ancestors turning into men"....how idiotic because first, men are apelike and evolution has enough evidence. 3) "universe popping out of nothingness"....an idiotic summary of the big bang |
wirinet: Which ability do you expect an 11yr old to have? An 11yr old should just be rounding up his primary education. He is still physically, mentally, emotionally and socially too immature for any responsibility.Anony is very shameless, he keeps arguing when he has lost! ![]() |
turnstoner: truthislight is the one going out of topic and is insisting that others don't! What is he getting so heated up about?Nonsense. Bigamy -Tax fraud; Hard to tax man with two or more wives and collects more tax benefits. Tax fraud is a serious crime -Human rights plus women rights abuse; all humans equal, men equal to women. UK has had legal precedence going back to centuries. If Nigeria wants to stop bigamy. Set a date; from 2015 new polygamous marriages/bigamous marriages not accepted. |
Sweetnecta: @Macdaddy01: somewhere in my past, my ascendants were pagans. but then came the first muslims among them, stopping paganism in my family. But even in the time of paganism in my family, there were Oluwasina, Oluwasola, Olorunshogo and so on. Today in my muslim bloodline we have Oluwasina still. Very strange indeed because the Oluwasina of te pagan era does not have the same meaning as the Oluwasina of this day muslim era.Great answer. Do you agree hat islam is a foreign Arab religion? |
D sage: Interesting! Where did Niger-Deltans and Binin's descended from? Most delatan tribes are not nomadic. We have always been in Western Africa. |
Sweetnecta: @Macdaddy01: nothing on nairaland you have right over, except your opinion. you see injustice and injustice annoys you: imagine your injustice to God Who created and sustained you as He had sustained all that had passed including your fathers, both humans and animals and even chemical elements. He is still sustaining you now and my proof is that I say it is by His Power all that you need to eat and drink and breathe to continue to be alive on the surface of the earth instead of being dead and buried under the earth or cremated to ashes grow and remain in abundant. I am certain that you can not explain to me how a dried up kernel of maize cracks up and releases its roots and stem. You see that the injustice that you have done on God, God has more Right to Punish if He Wills by whatever He Wills to punish. You want to preach islam to me? No probs, let us talk about islam in America. How do you feel as a muslim in the most cistian western country? How do you enjoy capitalism and still be a real muslim? |
I am dying with laughter! John Frum!!!! The first link is magic! |
D sage: May be I did not aware that it's an indirect insults to our ancestors.Sorry, I know about Niger-Delta and some Benin tribes only. Dont have time for WAZOBIA |
I tried reading the first link and couldnt. But allow me to state the best rebuttal to ray comfort. The banana fits well in the human azzhole. Does that mean that it was created for that purpose? |
Example of what?
Where a nation changed their local religion through trade or convincing to a foreign religion. You wont find any |
But they can give up their religion because they have been convinced that another religion is better, slavery does not have to be involved.
Give me an example? |
issehfresh: ...lol |
Sweetnecta: @Macdaddy01: while no one can say i am homosexual, being gay in english is being happy. in my case i am happy that i am a muslim. and no delta woman can say that i am homosexual, if she marries me.Dont you find it strange that Muhammad's father was a pagan and yet, his fathers' name was "Abdallah"....slave of Allah? |
I am not sure myself how Islam was brought to Nigeria, whether it was through slavery or trade. I have read different accounts by different people and the two suggestions looked convincing so I can't tell you with full confidence if they are speaking out of ignorance or if they are telling the truth, that was not even the point I was trying to make. My point in the last post was that you were wrong to make it seem like people say these things out of hypocrisy when they could be speaking based on strong personal convictions. Except if you started this topic to troll theists.
Islam came through slavery like most parts of Africa. Do some research. Nobody gives up their local religion (esp paganism) out of freewill or trade. Slavery in Kanem Borno Kano was a slave port. |
truthislight: ^^^^ ![]() |
vedaxcool: Is it just me? Or do atheists mourn forever? Is it me or Vedaxcool seems to be trolling? |
ijawkid: So u know Jesus did all such good deeds and taught morals yet soon ur brain will tell u he didn't exist @ all......it seems u really love Jesus....just confess and become his follower..:-)Answer d question |
sbm4real: Only a fool will say in his heart that there is no God.Ignorance is a disease. Please read; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Introduction_to_evolution http://astroversity..co.uk/2007/06/explained-big-bang-universe.html |
D sage: Sir, I don't know where in my previous posts I gave credit to foreigners, neglecting or insulting our forefather. You did so when yo claimed that african traditional religions came from the middle east! Most that I know of a rooted in their tribes. |
Did it occur to you that maybe these people actually believe that when they say these things they are telling the truth? people hold their religions in high esteem and believe them to be better than other people's beliefs, they are not making those comments out of hypocrisy.
So you are saying that it is out of ignorance? |
