Development has nothing to do with religion. There are so many factors involved. Even if Nigerians stop becoming religious today, they would still be close minded! Religion can be a force for good or evil just like the Dynamite!

LagosShia: as far as i am concerned this topic is concluded.women are neither banned in Iran from universities nor did the government or the clerics issue any fatwa or law to ban them from any course.the western media is framing up stories to demonize Iran.Iran does have a high female literacy rate and encourages women education.

moreover,the report i earlier cited clearly stated the role in Islamic Iran after the 1979 Islamic revolution led by Ayatollah Khomeini which empowered them and sort of give the concept of "Islamic feminism" according to the report.

whatever persians think about blacks,that is their problem.you should not forget that there are nationalistic persians who are zoroastrians and many are atheists and they are also very anti-Islamic.the founder of a well known anti-islam site-Ali Sina-is one such example.these type of nationalistic persians (even though a small minority) are not only anti-islam and therefore anti-regime in iran,they are also very racist.they even hate arabs because in their view Islam is an "arabian product" that came into persia and "destroyed their great persian civilization".

whatever the case is,i am rest assured that ignorance and hate have no place in Islam and therefore also have no place in an Islamic Iran.

Why is an atheist so concerned about issues in the church? Every single christian topic they try to argue against it even when it's not their business.
