The problem with discussing economics/basic finance with people that base their economics on the Quran is that they will never see how another system is better than the Quran or understand how the better system works. Faith and mathematics are to different things.


Lets take it slow. In any successful business, the cost of labour is never proprtional to the profits made because the business makes profit.

a) Yes, my sisters earn salaries but you forget that the profit in the first place has a margin over their labour.
b) Considering that my sisters are managers in my dad's business and they know more about the business than anyone, the logical step is to give them the most share of the inheritance of that business.

Let me lecture you on how wrong your inheritance laws are

a) First, you ignore that the parents get to treat their children unequally. The boy gets twice that of a girl.
b) Second, you assume that the girls will get married and will benefit from the husband's share of inheritance. The problem with asssuming this is;
-the daughter might already be a widow without much money
-the daughter might marry a man from a poor family. The husband has zero inheritance
-the daughter might never even get married due to health complications (barreness, terminal disease)
-the daughter might marry a man with 3 other wives. 2/3 divided by 4 becomes 1/6.



Your inheritance laws support riba in a sense. My older sisters who have worked with my dad for years will get less from my dad than me. I have not worked with my dad for even as half as long as them. So I get unfair gains from the inheritance. Instead of my dad to reward people on merit, he rewards on sex according to the Quran. Yet, the Quran bans unfair gains.
