Have you ever wondered why men select certain types of women when it comes to marriage? The good news is that whatever the type of woman you are, there is always a man for you. Some men like slim ladies, some like fat ladies, some like tall, others prefer short, so whatever your physical attributes, there is always a man for you. When it comes to settling down, most men select women that looks like their mother or one that looks like a very close female relation in the family. However some men select women based on the Facial Expression. Is she homely and friendly? does she have what it takes to be a good wife material? These questions are easily answered by the facial expressions of the lady in question. A lady's facial expression goes a long way in telling about the personality of the woman , it simply serves as an introductory paragraph about the kind of person she could possibly be. Men would do anything to get an utterly submissive woman for a wife, being autocratic in nature and disposition, most men would prefer settling down with a woman who is subject to their control, a woman who would obey their every command without objecting. Men detest the "Bossy" type of woman, when a man discovers that a lady falls into this category, it's most likely he wouldn't approach her with the subject of marriage. Fidelity is another key trait which men are on the lookout for when searching for a life partner. Every man seeks a trustworthy woman for a wife, with the prevalent rate of unfaithfulness in this age, such a woman is very difficult to find. However some men would prefer flashy women who would give them the right social projections. There are also men who seek for women that are conventional in nature, the list varies. Truth is, a virtuos woman is hard to find, most women of marriageable age do not possess the qualities men desire in a wife, it brings to mind the adage which says; " Women are many, Wives are few" However, women should Keep in mind that most men just want a happy and easy going woman who has good values, so just focus on putting the best YOU out there, and the right man will surely come for YOU. According to a Facebook user who shared this story with us, he claimed the narrative is a true life experience, passed down from his ancestral lineage. The story begins this way; Mazi Kiwe left Nnewi in 1927 with his maternal uncle to Port Harcourt to learn carpentry. He served his master for seven good years before he was "settled" or freed to start his own workshop Igwe Ocha was renamed Port Harcourt by the colonial government. It was the main port for export of slaves and palm produce. Many warriors in the hinterlands had their human barns or warehouses at Igwe Ocha where they would keep human beings kidnapped from their towns in the mainland and gradually be selling them into slavery to the Europeans. The big slave merchants had empowered buying agents who had gangs of strong men moving round the towns to kidnap able-bodied men and women for onward movement to Igwe Ocha for sales. Some unfortunate slavery victims were beaten to submission while many died as they resisted being captured. Relatives were known to have conspired to sell their fellow siblings into slavery in other to inherit the victims' wives or land; or out of sheer jealousy or envy. On that fateful evening, Mazi Kiwe greeted Pa Douglas Lookman as usual and steadied his attention on his chisel as he worked on chairs he must deliver to a client the next day. His customer was a temperamental type who had paid upfront for the funiture delivery. "Pa Douglas, I'm so busy as you can see and cannot play drought now, I have an urgent delivery of a pair of chairs to make tomorrow morning" Kiwe told his older friend. But Douglas didn't come to play drought that evening. He had found Kiwe very trustworthy enough to tell him his well guarded secret. He left to return the next day. "Kiwe my son", Pa Douglas began, "I have observed you for some years now and have come to trust you". Kiwe was confused as he had never seen his old friend in such a sober mood. "I could tell from your accent that you are from Otolo Nnewi" Kiwe was shocked by such allusion as they had never discussed his village before this time. Kiwe was particularly surprised because everybody in the yard knew that Pa Douglas hated Igbo people. Pa Douglas openly would rain invectives on Igbo race on slightest provocation hence making most Igbo co-tenants to avoid him. "I know you are shocked by my statement, don't be because my mother was from Otolo and I can tell all the dialects in Nnewi", he continued. "Who are you Pa Douglas?" Kiwe charged. "I will never listen to you until you reveal your real identity, perhaps you are okara madu okara muo or superhuman". "Is Dim Ohachie still alive?" Kiwe's skin instantly grew goose pimples. Every Nnewi youth was rattled upon hearing that name. The hearing of the of name "Dim Ohachi" could make a sleeping man wake up and scale a fence for safety. "Dim Ohachie was my uncle, he sold me into slavery; I'm from Okpuno Nnewichi Nnewi", Pa Douglas said and started crying. "Why didn't you go back when slavery was abolished by the colonial government? You can go back now" Kiwe advised. "I can never go back to Nnewi; he will kill me if he hears that I returned; not after acquiring my father's land, palm trees and breadfruits. "Besides, Dim Ohachie was onyemuo na afu uzo or a living evil spirit who has turned grasses and roots into his messengers. "How else can I explain the method he used to capture me and sold me into slavery? "I can vividly recall that he sent for me and I arrived at his house but what happened thereafter and how I ended up at Igwe Ocha, I could not remember till date. "I was not the only one he sold from our village; after the ban on slavery and our eventual freedom, some settled in Ikwerre while I decided to live in Okirika. "My real name is Anaka and my dead father's name is Nwokekeke. I had to change my names to Douglas Lookman to break away from my past. "So my son, you can see why many of us were betrayed and sold by our relations from our various Igbo towns hate you and the children of our wicked relations. "I have related my story to my children and have urged them to avenge my humiliation because an injury to one is an injury to all", Pa Douglas ended with a heart full of vengeance. Until the whole Igbo people in the hinterlands openly and genuinely apologize to our brothers in Ikwerre, Obiakpor, Okirika, Port Harcourt and to those inhabiting the creeks of Rivers state, their hatred and inclination to have a pound of flesh on Igbos in the main land shall never abate. Their ancestors told them of the atrocities perpetrated against them by their relations who sold them off into slavery in the most callous way. The heartless seizure of Igbo landed properties by Rivers people during and after Biafran war as "abandoned properties" was in retaliation of the injustice suffered by their ancestors. The mindless taking of the abandoned properties belonging to the Igbo's was considered a tit for tat for loss of land in the Igbo mainland by their forefathers to the greedy relatives and slave merchants. The Igbo leaders shouldn't gloss over the injustices of the past. Apology needs to be tendered. Who knows? Some of our brothers, upon genuine appeasement, might be touched to return the seized properties of their fellow Biafrans. With a genuine reconciliation, Rumuokoro and other Igbo cities corrupted with "R" prefix by post-civil war government of Rivers state may be changed to their Igbo identity. Truth be told, our forefathers were very very mean to our brothers" Read more@ SOURCE:http://www.gossipmirrors.com/2017/04/why-rivers-state-indigenes-dislike-igbos.html

Manchester City's Nigerian International, Kelechi Iheanacho says he is ready to fight for his place in the team, amid competition from Nolito, Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero. Despite bagging seven goals already this season, the 20-year-old Nigeria international has found first-team chances harder to come by than during his debut campaign. In spite of only five English Premier League starts this season, Iheanacho welcomes the extra competition and insists he is improving by playing alongside great players. “I cannot pretend that I don’t hear what people back home [in Nigeria] say about my lack of regular football, but I will continue to fight,” Iheanacho said on Saturday, reports NAN. “I don’t worry about those comments. All I need to do is to keep working, keep doing well and keep improving every day. “Sergio Aguero and Gabriel [Jesus] are really really great players that we need in our team. “As a young player, I’m happy playing alongside these fantastic players because I learn and get better every day. “It’s a big thing for my career to compete with these players. I’m okay with the way things are going and I wish Gabriel a quick recovery to return and help the team.” Iheanacho scored 14 times and produced seven assists in a stellar debut season as a first team player, even though 25 of his 36 appearances were as a substitute. That feat saw him finish as City’s third-highest scorer in all competitions, behind Sergio Aguero and Kevin de Bruyne. Nigeria's Super Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr, has his utmost dissatisfaction with the way players in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), lie about their age. He further claimed , that's the major reason why, he hardly invited any of them to the national team. In an interview with Brila FM , He said; There is an existing problem with Nigeria based players. We cannot tell their real age. “The door is always open for the best players. The Nigeria League players must prove themselves with the CHAN team first, because at the moment we have a winning team, so the home based players must prove they deserve a place in the team.” Goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa has been the only home-based player invited by Coach Rohr consistently in recent times, most especially for the games against Algeria and Senegal. The Nigerian Male soccer team, "Super Eagles" moved up one place from 39th position to "4Oth" according to the latest FIFA ranking released today. While the Black Stars Of Ghana continued their free fall dropping five places down to "45th". Liberia were the biggest losers in the latest rankings, dropping a massive 39 places to 141st overall. Brazil surged to the top of the FIFA world rankings for the first time in seven years on Thursday, made all the sweeter as it usurped great rivals Argentina. It caps a terrific week for forward Neymar and Brazil — last week they became the first country to qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, their latest step on the road to redemption after the embarrassment and heartache of their World Cup failure on home soil in 2014. Brazil were dumped off top spot after their elimination from the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Their new surge is in contrast to Argentina and Neymar’s Barcelona team-mate Lionel Messi, whose country are in danger of missing out on next year’s World Cup. They will not be able to call on their star man for three of their four remaining qualification matches because of suspension. Third in the newly released rankings are world champions Germany, followed by Chile and Colombia. Switzerland enter the top 10, up to ninth, with former number ones Spain clinging on in 10th. This topic is really one of particular interest to the women folk, according to a lady who shared this post on our Facebook page, she wrote thus; This may not be the best time for me to write on this because of misinterpretations, but I can no longer resist the push. "Husband Scarcity" has become one of the challenges faced by many ladies today. If you go to prayer houses, majority of the intentions are prayer for a life partner. And this calls for concern. Casting our minds back to the time of our mothers and grandmothers, was there really much of a "Husband Scarcity" problem? Or, maybe there were more men than women then, or there was an adequate corresponding numbers of both genders. I don't think so. Maybe then, the women had values and were prepared to build a home and not park into a built home. Then, once a young man comes of age and can at least feed himself and his wife, he goes out in search of a wife and the woman really appreciates him and helps him to build a future. What am I really trying to insinuate? We created what we now see as "Husband Scarcity"for ourselves. Today, the reverse is the case. Ask an average girl to define her dream husband; you get things like "he has to be tall, handsome, fair, and rich, own a house at least, and be presentable. In some cases, she even adds "God fearing" in order not to sound so worldly. Pause for a moment, and check the number of girls around you and the number of men that meet that standard, and you will see the problem. You would be hearing girls say, "I cannot suffer in my father's house and then go and start suffering with a man."What a wonderful dream"! What if from the beginning, you have everything you want and there is no suffering, and later in the marriage, the table turns around, then comes suffering? Will you run away? No one prays for suffering, but it is good to start small and end big, than start big and end small. The problem is that the description majority of ladies give of their ideal man is virtually the same. When 50 ladies want the same kind of man and the man that fits what they want is just 1man, and the man can only pick one. Then, what becomes of 49 others? They simply start lamenting of "Husband Scarcity". Another irony of our time is that it is hard, due to the current economic situation of our nation to find a man who is of marriage age who possesses all those things these ladies want. If you look around, majority of the ladies of substance, of good value and virtue, who are ready to build a home with a man who has prospects, are married and not complaining of husband scarcity. The easiest way to find a husband now, is to change your view of who a husband is. A husband is that man God made and then saw that it may be hard for him to really actualize his purpose for making him, without a help mate and then made the woman and gave to him, and he felt complete and fulfilled. I want you to critically go through the following points listed below about marriage; MARRIAGE IS NOT A POVERTY ALLEVIATION PROGRAM. It is a mission of building the family that will serve God here on earth. For those who see marriage as a way out of poverty, it is a way into bondage. THE ROLE OF WOMEN IN MARRIAGE: Women are HOME BUILDERS, not HOME WARMERS...Never confuse a man's path with his destiny, Where he is today, may only be a route to where God has destined him to be tomorrow. Another truth is that "You might just be the missing piece of his Breakthrough Puzzle" . Read more @ SOURCE:http://www.gossipmirrors.com/2017/04/scarcity-of-husbands.html
