What has been stopping any of our Aba shoe factories from being proud of what they do and opening branded stores likes…

I hope they would wake up now…

SmartPolician:
The project looks solid and beautiful. Buhari is trying in borrowing money to fix our infrastructure, but leadership is far beyond doing that because anyone can do it.

Nigeria needs a man who can create wealth for her teeming population, especially young people. If not, the level of insecurity we will experience in the next ten years, nobody will be able to walk down the streets anymore.
And how do you create wealth without creating the enabling infrastructure to drive the economic growth and wealth and wealth you are talking about Ipobians and Obi supporters

FarahAideed:
Lagos Budget is shrinking ..under PDP Lagos budget used to be over 4 billion dollars and under Buhari it's not barely 3 billion dollars
Lagos has never done a budget size of up to 3 billion dollars, this is the first time Lagos will be exceeding 3 billion dollars to hit the 4 billion dollars mark at the official cbn rate of 412 naira to a dollar so please get your facts right and stop being ridiculous

Rubbish!!

*Who is in charge of revenue collection at the Lekki tollgate?

*Who authorized the removal of all CCTV cameras on the noon of Oct 20, 2020?

*Who switched off all the security lights at the Lekki tollgate on the night of Oct 20, 2020?

*Who invited the Nigerian Army to shoot directly at unarmed protesters waiving the Nigerian flag in a democratic government?

*What happens to all those indicted in the recently concluded report?

EVIL MEN WITH BLOOD ON THEIR HANDS huh
THERE IS NO PEACE WITHOUT JUSTICE.
You are very stupid for asking such ridiculous questions who for instance in their right minds would have wanted to murder someone, how could the government have ordered the military to shoot at any anyone? Ok fine the government brought in the military as well as other security agencies there but is it not for the protection of lives and properties after all isn't it the duty of the government to provide for the protection of it's citizens, moreover prior to the incidence the governor has declared a curfew so if you knew what that means you would have realised that it would be backed up with both conventional and non conventional means of securities to enforce the ban on movement of people hence those protesters who deliberately ignored the government's ban on movement have themselves to blame for whatever consequences befell them

PoliticsRe: Why I Convened 2014 National Confab – Jonathan by Mack5ive: 1:52pm On Nov 17, 2021
What Nigeria needed is an all encompassing sovereign national conference that would be backed by the constitution and the reports of which will become binding on Nigerians by means of a referendum. This conference should renegotiate Nigeria's cooperate existence as an entity and a nation unlike all the other previous conferences which ended up being just mere talk shop

Obakoolex:
I just wonder why federal government cannot channel all this energy to power and watch the economy rise up immediately.
Even individual economy go rise, as fueling is killing so many business
I quite agree with you if only the kind of revolution we are witnessing in the railway sector is being replicated in the power sector believe you me our economy will not be this bad as it is today, for me that is the greatest failure of the Buhari administration they are not getting their priorities right, the first thing any serious administration that wants to make any serious impact in the lives of it's people is to get the power sector fixed i mean if we can stabilise our power sector in this country then every other thing( economically) will fall into place
PoliticsRe: Wike's Giant Strides In Infrastructural Development Is An Envy To Other States by Mack5ive: 9:41am On Oct 16, 2021
[quote author=Johnnyessence post=106780705]wike has over 5 long flyovers in rivers state presently. You better visit rivers state and see things for yourself. Don’t be mumu here ooo[/quote
Buhari is doing wonders too when it comes to infrastructural development ( i call it wonders because we have not seen this level of development in this 6 years of his administration compared to previous years before him ) in Nigeria today but we are still complaining why because issues such as security ( which still remains a major problem in the country), economy ( although the investments in infrastructural development especially if such is being channelled into the power sector will eventually revved up the economy), and corruption still continues to render this country in a very causing untold hardships and pains to the average Nigerians, so good governance is not one sided it touches every aspects of the life of a city that was what made fashola quite unique compared to Ambode who only made infrastructural development his achievements just like wike you are praising to high heavens, fashola transformed Lagos in all ramifications healthcare, education, housing security and very sanitised environment to do business in Lagos.

Lagos is planning on a bigger port in badagry, the road construction to badagry is ten lane with a blue line rail.
Nobody is favoring Lagos. Lagos favored herself by improving fedral road that has capital impact on her economy.
Stop the jealousy bro
Lagos even is already developing the Lekki deep seaport which will be ready to open up for business by next year

PoliticsRe: Peter Obi: Why Buhari Is Yet To Form His Cabinet Weeks After Swearing-in by Mack5ive: 8:05pm On Jun 17, 2019
It is the constitution of Nigeria that we should be blaming and not Buhari, Buhari can only present his nominees to the Senate only when they have been constituted and on plenary we all know the nass was just constituted only last week Tuesday and it's yet to settle down for plenary in July the 2nd so we'll have till then, unlike in other jurisdictions where the legislators will have already been in place to confirm appointees of the government.

By appointing ministers right, without the confirmation of the senators who are yet to settle down for plenary
PoliticsRe: Presidential Election: The Real Number Of Votes I Scored In Each State – Atiku by Mack5ive: 11:27am On Jun 14, 2019
This people are truly very funny, the electoral act of 2015 forbades electronic transfer of results, even if they want to argue about inec server issues yes inec might have their servers and the servers might contain the entire details of registered voters and would have also been used to authenticate valid voters before they vote but have they forgotten that that is were it stops that the elections were conducted with manual papers and dropped into physical boxes that was visible for all to see and results counted and collated and entered into the electoral forms that we heard such as ec forms and signed by each of the party agents and copies made available to each of these party agents and a copy forwarded to collation centres both at the local government to state and finally at inec headquarters for aggregation of results as permitted by the law, so instead of Atiku and pdp to be talking about inec server they should have come up with a true and verified copy of their own ec forms which they would have through forensic examinations with inecs own forms proved beyond any doubt their points.
