Why remain good when you can be better? Gcam on my rn7 gives me better picture quality and I decided to stick to it (personal choice). I've taken the decision to respect my old age and carry my Gcam wahala to the other camera thread as adviced.

The higher the number you choose the better the pix quality and larger file size.

I don't think I owe any fraudulent low life any apologies, I stand by my words, that any two faced ass wipe should contact Lei Jun for silly complaints or better still manufacture his very own device. You can cry me a river I really don't care.
My journey with xiaomi started when I stumbled on an article by Mr mobility, he addressed xiaomi as a Chinese daredevil by then I was using tecno p9 (it was a 7inch tab) with 1gig ram and 16gig rom. You can't all imagine what I went through in the hands of carlcare in Port harcourt each time it entered bootloop or I had to change charging port, their office was better compared to a market place. I was asked to pay 12k for charging port for tecno p9 simply because they claim that they will have to change the whole charging board, I kid you not. I later had to take it to a road side phone technician that changed the charging port for #1500.
I then decided join xiaomi, my first 2 devices was enough to discourage me (mi phone 4 that I think was a clone or it came with a shop rom and redmi note 2, the battery was so bad that I almost gave up but I pressed on and got note 5 sold it, bought note 4x, sold it and then got the note 7. In all my journey I've encountered some challenges and have taken my time to research, seek for solutions and respectfully ask questions here bearing in mind that everyone is also an end user like me and above all take time to enjoy my device and seek for ways to get the best out of it.
I can now flash roms and tweak my phone all thanks to xiaomi. I have taken my time to know my device and I am enjoying it. Anybody that is either too lazy to research or respectfully ask for assistance whenever they encounter any challenges can go to hell. I truly don't care.

Still RN7, STILL GCAM.

Try 1.0, snap check the result then increase/decrease to taste. As you increase to + 1.0 and above the image gets brighter, if you reduce - 0.1 and below the image gets darker. Just experiment you'll get better result to suit your taste.

Using the flashlight and Gcam flash when taking picture is not as bright as using the main camera flash when taking pictures on my RN8, is there any way to make it as bright as when using the flash for the main camera

Go to gcam settings and increase the exposure compensation to between +1.2 - 1.6.

Personally I've not seen anyone that take a shot with gcam without saying so ie RN7+Gcam so this your yarn about deceiving people sounds immature as a matter if fact shooting with gcam enlighten people that that specific model support gcam

They just feel threatened, cheated and jealous @ the same time just because xiaomi takes breath taking pix with gcam installed. I've resolved not to respond to any of them. But be rest assured that I will keep posting.
