But when you do use a custom ROM you should know some features missing from the official MIUI will be available on a platter to you. So those comparisons are really not necessary, especially when responding to a noob.

It's a fact that unlocking bootloader, using a Chinese rom makes Playstore to show that a device is uncertified.

The reason why yours I showing certified is that you are using Magisk with safetyNET.

Whenever you want to prove a point, do so well, stating what and what you did else you'll misinform people. Especially those on stock ROM, with locked BL having the issue of device not certified.

They'll think something is wrong with their phone. Not knowing you used Magisk to bypass safetyNET on yours.

The 439 and 632 were released at the same time by Qualcomm so it might have had something to do with xiaomi throwing it's weight with the 439. The 810 is better yes, but you can still use the 730 good. Same goes for the 632 and 439. Apart from the processor In what other way is the redmi 7 better?

The main Global ROM of RN7 is yet to see MIUI 11 talk more EU ROM of RN7 that is always behind in updates.

Only R7 EU ROM and R7A and the Chinese ROM of some devices have received MIUI 11

so, I just discoverd this VOLOCO app, aswear its very maddd, its has karoke and live voice changer/key tuner(with 6preinstalled effects that are OK, but to access other features you have to pay for premium which is quite expensive). Yes, that is why I was able to lock it in the first place. I had disabled mi cloud on my phone long ago though when I discovered it sends a copy of my files there and my data plan gets depleted quickly
With the url, I was able to access the first pix. The 2nd pix showed after u locked the device and couldn't unlock it. I restarted the phone and it was unlocked briefly and I was able to access the url again, hence me getting the 3rd pic. Wilt ios then when I lock a phone, it will need me to enter a password on the locked phone to unlock it. I didn't need to necessarily restart the phone sef. But just couldn't under this on my RN7. The only thing working was the emergency call. The remaining part of the screen was unresponsive

Holla. Good morning Xiaomites... There is something I am not understanding... Tried to access https://us.i.mi.com/#/ and tried to locate my RN7 on it, it was saying no device was found. Tried to use "find my device" feature on the site after logging it with my email, but e o see my device.
Tried to use the "find device" in phone settings and tried "secure device" my phone got locked and ditn get an option to unlock it (maybe unlock with email or password or something). The screen was unresponsive. Tried a reboot and even power off and power one, the phone ei work briefly for 10secs after I enter my sim pin and unlocked the phone, before it gets secured again. Had to launch the site on my other phone and clicked on "delete device" during which I got a warning my mi account will be looged off on the device, before I was able to gain control back... Question is.. Pls can anyone enlight me on what I didn't do right?
Presently, it is stil telling me no device found when I tried "find device", mainwhile I logged in with my mi account and find device is active on the phone
