GAZZUZZ:
The engine idles rough, this is when the vehicle is in a stationary position and you get a rough feeling from the engine almost as if the vehicle wants to stall out. Finally you may find that the vehicle hesitates on acceleration. To make a proper diagnosis please scan vehicle.

I know about the scanning. I've actually ordered for a wireless scanner but wanted to get more info here.
The car idles a bit erratic a times but mostly steady. But the engine won't rev above 4000rpm (query limp mode) and much noticeable is that response to throttling is erratic. Most times the car acts like it's afraid to move and few times it acts as if something is pursuing it.
I hope the problem is as simple as changing the TPS and not my gearbox.

Please, what are the signs of a bad throttle position sensor in a 2001 Accord?

Please pals, I drive a 2001 accord and I have the following issues.
1. The revolution of the engine does not pass 4000r/min. When I step on the throttle, the engine speed rises but once the tachometer hits 4000r/min, the engine starts jerking and will not go higher. This is noticed both when the car is stationary and when mobile and affects me when speeding off. It drives smoothly if I don't push the engine. I have changed my spark plugs, changed fuel pump, cleaned air filter, all to no avail. Please help.

2. I noticed that if I turn my steering to extreme angle, my engine goes down and comes up again when I release it a little. Is this normal?
Please help.

Please is this fluid good for 2001 Honda accord? I can't get DW-1 around and I need to do a drain.

Please my people, I got a 2001 Honda accord and I have been trying to get the best transmission fluid for it. I know ATF DW1 is the recommended one but I can't find it around and I also know it's pretty expensive. Someone recommended Pureguard global synthetic, the one in the picture.
Please is this fluid good for my car? Please I need a reply.

You are right, but sometimes you have to teach ppl some hard lessons the hard way. That young lady Funke has been acting like a recently jilted fellow. Sodiq has been doing his thing trying to inform us all and all the little brat has been doing was to call him names like say Sodiq na her ex boyfriend.
Polite constructive arguments are welcome here. Most of us are here for ammendment of our half knowledge. But calling of names is not allowed. She overstepped her tiny boundary and the result was not very palatable for her.

sooperrescue: They cleaned your air filter instead of changing it, they put Mobil atf instead of ATF Z1, they put any spark plug on your car instead of the original number meant for your vehicle, what about the fuel filter? Is there a check engine on your dashboard? Look for those mechs that own obd 11 scanners even if it is a hand held and then we will know what is wrong. Dont let mechanics without a scanner touch your car again, even if they wave to you, dont wave back. Cars have gone high tech and they have to move with the tide or they will end up with the 504s that they are used to. let me have the number written on the plugs they changed.

1. I doubt if the air filter is the problem
2. I'm still waiting for ur mail concerning the tranny fluid.
3. I don't know much about spark plugs. I thought they are all the same. Just the variation in quality.
4. He only changed the fuel pump and the filter dt comes on it.
5. There is no check engine light on.
6. I don't know where to find the good technicians here in Asaba. I'm willing to drive to Onitsha only if I know who I'm going there to find. I wish someone can refer me to one.
7. I can't give you the number unless I have to go and loose the plugs from the car.
