All instablog does is publish unverified and unrefined information. which defies the essence and standard of a proper news media outfit.

A video emerged on instagram via the instablog handle showing motion pictures of a girl who sells bits of grilled sauced chicken for a living.

The allegations according to instablog implied that the girl refused to eat from what she sells to the public and it resulted to abusive and negative reactions from some unruly group of persons who verbally coerced her to eat against her wish.

Now my questions to instablog is;

Does instablog carry out any form of investigation to ascertain the quality or originality of it news?

Does instablog observe or understand the code of conduct and ethics of broadcasting professionally?

Does instablog have good evidences to follow-up its contents when required?

Does instablog know defamation of character is a grave crime and a victim has legal impetus to file a law suit against them?


I know the victim involved with this and I will not let this go without making a statement. I know the poor girls story. Non of these impression made by instablog is true.

CRIMINAL DEFAMATION UNDER THE NIGERIAN LAW

A defamation matter is defined in section 373 of the criminal code as a matter likely to injure the reputation of any person by exposing him to hatred, contempt or ridicule, or likely to damage any person in his profession or trade by injury to his reputation.

Real Story

The girl in that video was repeatedly bullied and molested by some unscrupulous hoodlums who appeared as customers who wants to patronize her by buying what she sells.

I have gathered information directly from the lady and confirmed it via reports around the area where she usually does her business.

The report stated that these guys called the first time, which was a day earlier — to buy from her but cajoled her to eat with them and that they will take care of the bills but they ended up making her a subject of ridicule after paying for the ones they consumed.

They repeated same thing on a different day but this time she refused to eat and it resulted into what u see as the video instablog published.

First, let me remind you that there was nothing like FMHDSD before. Sadiya was never in the government before. That ministry was formed because we helped and supported buhari's 2nd term bid.

Second, we risked our lives traveling for campaign just to see PMB win election, and that was the reason they promised us permanency.

Now, are you aware that the boko Haram illiterate members who has killed and wasted a lot of souls and later denounced their membership are being reformed by the government far better than the graduates who have been teaching and impacting lives and even supported their 2nd term?

How on Earth are we bothering them now? When we risked our lives for them, we never bothered them. With all the monies politicians embezzle every now and then, how on Earth would you ever think, that giving better jobs to npower beneficiaries would mean that we are bothering the government?

Nigerian government is not moved by peaceful nor violent protests. The only way the government will comply is if you can threaten to attack a national treasure with a strict request of your share of the national cake.

The system has made Nigerians resort to taking their share by force and not peaceful conduct. Just like the Naija Delta militant and the rest.

No one ever achieved anything with peaceful protests, so long Nigeria is concerned. Protests might work in a democratic dispensation and you know quite well that it is not the case in Nigeria.

You have rights but you are not allowed to use it and if you press on to exercise it you might be a victim of accidental discharge via a DSS AK 47 rifle.

Do not forget what happened to Sowore and his #RevolutionNow peaceful protest.

Npower pays for work done. Those in Nteach, Nhealth and Nagro are being supervised weekly/monthly by npower reps from Abuja. This is why a lot of people's payment were stopped. Some resigned and some suspended.
