2. When it was time to get flogged, my mum used to ask us where we wanted it . . . a choice between the palm, the back or the buttocks.
If you said you wanted your palm, she'll use the cane on your back and buttocks. . . if you said buttocks, she flogged your palm.

After sometime we just learnt to tell her the opposite of what we wanted

Oh gosh your mum sounds like my mother, psychlogical torture.

My mother would send us to get whatever she had decided to beat us with that Saturday, that was more painful than the beating.

Oh I see what you are saying, the "full lace wigs can be styled as if it's the persons own hair. Lace front can only be parted in the front.
