I'm so sorry to hear that. There's really no worse pain than losing a loved one. There really isn't. 'Ministering a truth you yourself have no strong grasp of at the moment'. JS, I know precisely, exactly, absolutely and totally what you're saying. I've been through that. More or less still going through it. You'd expect more people than less to experience this, but certainty is so fashionable right now, and most of us really don't want to plumb ourselves and our truths to that extent; we hold them too dear, and we're too frightened of what we might uncover. That you feel this tells me there is real depth to your 'walk'. With this sort of thing it's the answers you discover for yourself that holds true, that mean anything, and that will sustain you through uncertainties to come. Shakespeare says in Hamlet that, above all things, to thine own self be true. You're under no contract to 'perform' and to 'please', to play a role. You're beholden to the truth, and if it is lost, you must take it upon yourself to search until you find it, steeling yourself for what you might find. 1 Corinthians 13, 12 : For now we see through a glass, darkly, but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. |
There is. I swear. Saw it years ago and bid Nollywood goodbye. |
I will start taking you serious after you re-rate the movie in review.15%? I wouldn't even rate the wackest Nollywood movie less than 20%Is that right? Wait till you see the Nollywood 'Science Fiction' epic where half a dozen albinos played 'aliens'. I predict you'll be eating those words right about the time the aliens come out of their 'flying saucer' to 'lift' cars and buildings by 'telekinesis'. |
Isn't there roughly half a million of those already? They show them during Moslem holidays and festivals. Is there something new they're adding to the story, or is the producer supposed to be the main attraction? If it were a musical now I'd watch it. |
JeSoul:It really wouldn't and if it does it does. vescucci:You little masochist you. I saw Oh in a movie with graphic sex scenes. Maybe in her struggling Arthouse days. I 'get' nudity onscreen and on stage a litttle, but sometimes I don't. They've friends and family and children who'll see that, don't they? I watched an Eva Green interview on one movie she did that contained extensive nudity. She said she didn't care until her parents saw it at the premierre, and then she almost died squirming from embarrassment. |
I saw her in Princess Diaries. Old movie and yet she looked the same as on Grey's. The woman doesn't age. Katherine Heigl up next |
People have been saying all over Europe that he 'diluted' Bond? What people? The same ones who flocked to see Craig, and made his Bond outings the most successful in the history of the franchise? Craig is the most popular Bond ever, and the ONLY Bond to have won an award for his acting (Casino Royale). He's supremely talented, and perfect for the re-invention of the franchise, which was losing relevance. I'd given up on the franchise as stupid , formulaic and not worth my time after that wretched Die Another Day. Craig changed my mind. Notice how he and Judi Dench play against and bring out the best in each other, and how their relationship deepens with time (each movie). Great chemistry. A perfect pairing, something she didn't have with Brosnan. Craig's a good thing. Don't knock it. |
My email addy. Vesc would have something to say about that. Seriously though, nothing happened, right? You've just been busy? I need to be sure. |
chic2pimp:What do you want them to date; chimpanzees? They have power to attract whomever they want na. You should the serious beauties Woody Allen dated, with that large head of his. JS, is everything all right? I hope so, sweetie. |
You know you like Chandra. She plays short, tough, compassionate Dr Miranda Bailey, aka The Nazi, on Grey's Anatomy. You get a sneaking suspicion she's somehow playing herself. Chandra Wilson was working in a bank when she auditioned for the role. The producers initially envisioned something tall and caucasian for the part. Chandra auditioned, and blew them so far away they rewrote the script for the exact opposite of what they'd had in mind. But Chandra isn't some acting newbie. The 40 year old has worked on stage and on television, with small parts in Sex and the City, The Sopranos, Law and Order, etc, as well as movies like Philadelphia. Chandra has been nominated and won several awards for her roles in film and tv, and especially for her work on grey's Anatomy, for which she was emmy-nominated four consecutive times. Here's beautiful Chandra with her family. She's been married almost 20 years. Chandra will take over from Ellen Pompeo as narrator of the series in upcoming seasons. I'm not sure that's ever happened before. Smart move though,as 'Meredith' probably doesn't have any fresh perpectives to offer.

Ellen Pompeo plays Meredith Gray in Grey's Anatomy. She had bit roles in film and television, some of which were cut out. She played Jim Carrey's ex-girlfriend in Eternal Sunshine etc, but Gondry cut her scenes out. She was happy he cast her at all. Ellen hit the big time with the hugely successful medical drama series, where a handful of interns grapple with issues medical and personal at Seattle Grace Hospital. Ellen met her husband, record producer Chris Ivery, in 2003 and they've been together ever siince. They had their first child, Luna, last month. Cute couple. And no, your pc screen isn't smudged. He is black.

Mistiky:Have you seen Anaconda 2: Hunt for the Blood Orchid? Lots of green in it. People and forests and nature everywhere. Totally green. You'll love it. vescucci: ![]() iice:You say. |
In our part of the world some people consider it a testament of the closeness of your relationship if they're allowed in your bedroom. She might be that sort. But it's no excuse. She simply has no business there. You let things get to this stage but one can't really blame you; you've a gentle nature and don't wish to cause offence. But the thing is, with people, quality is what counts. You want to surround yourself with good people, kind people, honest people, people whom you respect and who respect you. You must learn to choose your friends, not the other way round. The ideal time to take care of the situation would have been the FIRST time. When she entered your bedrom you should have exited instantly, waited for her to leave too, and then made a show of locking the door and leading her to the living room. In your kitchen you tell her firmly and gently to return to the living room, that while you appreciate her offer of help you're fine. If she persists, leave the kitchen. She'll venture out eventually. If you'd done this each time at the early stages she would stop sooner or later. Now, I don't know. Confrontation should be gentle. Tell her you think highly of her but you DON'T want her entering the bedroom and kitchen, etc. If she persists. sharply decrease your interactions with her, and make sure she does not enter your house AT ALL for weeks or months. If you must attend to her, meet her outside and finish your business there, then go in and lock the door. After some time the familiarity and sense of proprietorship she has over your home will vanish and she will be a stranger to your house. By the time she starts coming back in, you may then lay the foundations of how she'll conduct herself in your house. I don't understand how you let her have so much access to your baby. Why should she take the baby to church in your absence? She wakes the sleeping child and all that. How dare you let her treat your child with so little regard, and you with so little respect? What's the matter with you? Respect is a two-way street. You give it, you must demand it back. If you don't get it, withdraw yours. She's abusing your baby and your relationship and you stand there and twiddle your thumbs. |
You're a freaka nature iice. Nothing natural about the little un's tummy tho. And the fact that she's showing if off screams a body self-awareness far too high for her age. I didn't post Josh Holloway's bio. The blond one with the killer smile is Joshua Holloway, who plays brave, funny, tough, warm Sawyerr on LOST. Josh was born of Scottish parents in sunny California. He's always wanted to be an actor and quickly took himself to Los Angeles to begin. There he began a career in film and television, landing several roles. 20th Century Fox approached him with a character they created especially for him in X Men: The Last Stand. But the hectic schedule of LOST kept him away, and the character, Gambit, was scrapped. People Magazine named Josh one of the "50 Most Beautiful People in the World." In Touch Weekly named him the "hottest hunk" on television. He was voted the 17th sexiest guy on earth by readers of OK! magazine. He was voted the 2nd Sexiest Star in Hollywood by US Weekly. In 2007 Josh was chosen as the new face for Davidoff's "Cool Water" fragrance worldwide. In 2008, he was selected as the first male spokesperson for Magnum Ice Cream of Turkey. Previous Magnum spokespersons include Eva Longoria Parker and Elizabeth Hurley. In the same year he made the top ten list of TV Guide's Sexiest Stars. After shooting the Pilot episode of LOST in 2004, Josh proposed to his long time Indonesian girlfriend, Yessica Kumala, and they got married. They welcomed their first child this year, a daughter, Java Jumala Holloway.

You had belly like that when you were an embryo, iice. Upcoming couples: From Grey's Anatomy; Derek Meredith Cristina Burke Alex MacSteamy Lizzie Chief The Nazi |
No way the mother's profession can make a child's belly flat. That's like saying if the father were a wrestler the son would automatically have bulging muscles. Ze little gal vorks out. Sick culture cult of Appearance is All. It's infecting them younger and younger. |
spikedcylinder:Notice Matthew Fox's older daughter. 7, 8 at the most, maybe. See how, at even that age, she's already abandoning childhood and fashioning a Hollywood body? Look at her belly. She's already working out and exhibiting the results. Her dumb parents need an ass whupping. |
Daniel Dae Kim, 41, was born in South Korea and moved to the US at age 2 with his parents, and had his university education there. He's been in at least two dozen movies, including CRASH, and several TV shows before landing the part of Jin-Soo kwan on LOST. He was named one of People Magazine's Sexiest men Alive in 2005. He voices Rikimaru in the game Tenchu. Here he is with his beautiful wife, Mia Kim.
|
Mattew Fox, 46, plays Dr Jack Shepard in LOST. His character was originally intended for the pilot episode only. It didn't work out that way, and he's now one of the series main protagonists, leader of the oceanic crash crowd. Mattew Fox, a Columbia university graduate and former fashion model, met his future wife, an Italian runway model, at that university. Mattew has had a long career in film and television. He was the driver X in the 2008 movie, Speed the Racer. He's been married to Margherita for 18 years and they have 2 daughters.

Jorge Garcia, 36, plays the guileless, adorable Hurley on LOST. He initially auditioned for the part of Sawyerr. The show producers saw him on another show the night before, and created the character of Hurley for the him. He's been on TV before that, in Becker, Curb Your Enthusiasm and others. Here he is with his girlfriend, Bethany Leigh Shady.

Terry O'Quinn has had an award-winning career in film and television spanning decades. He met producer J.J Abrams on the latter's Alias, where he played FBI hardhat Kendall, and became a favourite of Abrams. When LOST was in development, he got a call from Abrams telling him he's been, cast without any audition, as the enigmatic John Locke. O'Quinn says he finds it easy to play the character, as they have much in common. His excellent performance was nominated for an emmy in 2005 and again in 2007, which he won. He's been married to Lori for thirty years and they have two children and a grandchild.

Evangeline Lilly, 30, plays bad-ass, tender, conflicted Kate on LOST. She's worked as a flight attendant, and as a missionary in the Phillipines. She nearly accepted an invitation as a permanent missionary there but declined because of her parents wishes. Evangeline was once married to Canadian athlete Murray Hone. She's been in a relationship with fellow LOST co-star Dominic Monaghan (who played Charlie) since 2004. Once the series is ended, Evangeline plans to return to humanitarian work. Josh Holloway (Sawyerr) calls her 'Freckles' in real life.

Yunjin Kim, trained in martial arts and dancing, attended Boston University, where she earned a degree in drama. She made her acting debut in SHIRI, the highest grossing movie in Korean film history in its year of release. She plays the role of Sun-Hwa Kwon in LOST. She's in a long term relationship with her Korean boyfriend, whose identity she jealously guards.

Adewale Akinnuoye Agbaje is a solicitor and successful Nigerian actor, playing Adebisi in Oz and Mr Eko in LOST. He's also appeared in blockbusters like The Bourne Identity and The Mummy Returns. We know he's dating a model, but he's zipped up about his personal life. Agbaje asked the producers of LOST to write him out of the series in 2006 when he lost his parents. The series producers were furious. His character was one of the richest and most intriguing in the series. Still they had to comply with his wishes, and so he died in LOST. We hear he may return to the series for the final season instalment. We hope the rumours are true. Well done, Agbaje! We love you!

Michael Emerson plays one of the most complex characters on LOST, that of Benjamin Linus, series main antagonist, and he plays it superbly. He's won an emmy for his work in The Practice. After being emmy-nominated three times for his work on LOST, he finally took the award home this year. Michael has been married to actress Carrie Preston for eleven years. He's often expressed a longing to join her in the series TRU BLOOD, where she plays the waitress Arlene.

Naveen Andrews I first saw as Kip, bomb defuser during the war, in The English Patient. There is an immortal scene where Naveen, who plays a Sikh, loosens his turban and lets his hair fall while he bathes his body. Unobserved, Juliet Binoche watches. No rutting, no obscenity, and yet,a profoundly, incredibly, nerve-tinglingly sensual scene. We'll miss you Minghella. Naveen plays Sayid in the TV series, LOST. Born in London in 1969 to a psychologist mother and businessman dad, he studied drama. At age 16, he fell in love with his maths teacher and had a child with her seven years later. Naveen is in a relationship with Barbara Hershey.

Sisi_Kill:The cast of LOST. Select cast from Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy and Sex and the City. |
Since there's a tie maybe you might have ALL three movies reviewed one after the other?Sauron's been at Eagle Eye for the past 2 pages or so. |
And Jackman does? I meant Kojima outdid himself with MGS 4. |
Sean Penn and Robin Wright are getting divorced after almost 3 decades together. Upcoming couples:The better halves of the cast in a TV serial. Way too disgusting? They're aliens, aren't they? |
Can't David Hayter can't play Snake? It's his voice all these years afterall. I thought Hideo Kojima was a genius before. After playing Metal Gear Solid 4 recently, words failed me. Murphy is PERFECT for Otacon lol. Don't know about Craig and Cruise tho. There's no way to translate MGS into a movie and 'get' it, I don't think. Better it remains at the absolute zenith of gamiing experience. |
Darthmaul:So right. A device that turns Asians into Englishmen. Silliest plot of all the Bond instalments. But guys are too busy watching Halle wriggle like a worm out of the sea to care if they're watching BS. I don't know what it is with EON and Dalton. They wrote Golden Eye for him. He turned it down and Brosnan took it away. |
