Lol, @ bluespice, I'm not sure but I think they're both up this week, I might be wrongsmiley. I never thought I'd ever say this, but having d new JJ around makes JohnJames actually look good. Now if only he wasn't tied to Josie's apron-stringscheesy. Can't wait 4 Friday!!
Christianity EtcRe: Ituah Ighodalo Starts Own Church by maedan(f): 12:25am On Jul 26, 2010
And another thing: about the folks "judging" him regarding his second marriage, it is time people remember the days of the Pharisees, when they used the "Law" to oppress and constrict God's people. To me I see no "harm" in Ighodalo remarrying whether his first wife is alive or not, must he wait for her to die before he finds happiness as a husband, let God judge him but as far as I'm concerned there's no need to condemn him for it.

I wonder why they are not called to open churches in Chad, Niger, Darfur, Central African Republic etc. Always in highbrow and rich areas and nothing for the poor. Next branch would be opened in UK and from there to US where the gospel will be paid for in dollars. The other day he paid for a full page advert of himself on a national daily. Just wondering whether God is selective where the Gospel should be preached and located. My brothers, is it in the bible that air conditioned churches should not be built in poor areas like Okokomaiko with Pastor Ituah being the G.O there and living in their midst?
You have a point there tho'. I'm sure many pastors-in-training are always praying to be 'posted' to head branches in "highbrow" areas and prayerfully reject to pastor in poor regions. Heaven help us.

since ife was up for eviction, i stopped watching BB, not that  i was interested to begin with.
its really really boring if i might say and the few minutes of live feed ive caught have either been taken over by that disgustingly annoying nerd, or ben and his annoying i'm-so-gay-i-cant-even-bare-to-say-it-to-myself ways kmft oh and the josie and JJ thng just makes me throw up a lil in my mouth everytime the camera focuses on them cos josie always has some wonderfully new reason to explain how she feels to JJ, i mean its like we get it u 'big boned' kunt! u like him, he knows, the whole phukcing viewing audience gets it, let it go already!kmft
sara j:
Did you see what Ben said about various
housemates on live feed last night to Dave
and Andrew?
He said that the cougar was like Ife on acid.
He said Rachel is spaced out.
Then Dave mentioned something about
shooting the cougar.
I am getting sick of Ben and Daves bitching.
They really don't have anything good to say
about anyone. They are now even turning on Mario.
I wouldn't mind but they are both major douchebags
especially Dave.
O-M-G!! You guys just took the words outta my MIND!!! @bluespice, I lost all interest in Ife after week two, she was just a waste of space, sorry. She tried to redeem herself many times by being focused in tasks and moving with Caoimhe and Shabby, but she messed it up in the end. Gosh, and about un-gay Ben - do u see how he and the other guys are always kissing, hugging, spooning, rubbing cream on eachother, combing each other's hair? All this bromance is getting out of hand IMO!! Cringy to watch 'em at it sometimes!! LOL>

@ sara, yessss, I absolutely agree about Ben. I have never seen someone so good at slagging others off, without even having to think about it first. I used to find him interesting but now I see he is too shallow, self-absorbed and big-headed to be a nice person. He has a good partner in crime in Dave, whose holier-than-thou attitude is getting out of hand. Who is he to judge anyone??

LOL, the Cougar lady, the black chick, is so not fitting in. Why oh why did they pick her? "Ife on crack"!!!! Priceless!!! Funny enough this woman is the prototype of what housemates usually should be: at least one housemate in a BB series must be the dominating, disliked and dumb one who just can't see that she'll never belong!!! Gosh, what wild ride its going to be for all!!

hello everybody,

i had to get on the internet to cool o. my heart is so broken , u cant even begin to imagine. im so hurt, my eyes are puffed and swollen. i feel numb inside. i feel like im not alive. the only hope and faith i have is as tiny as the mustard seed christ asked us for. may be thats why im still typing this.

ive never been pregnant all my life, not even a miscarriage. i and my husband dated 5 yrs b4 our wedding little under a year old. and all those yrs we werent even using any contraceptives. at a point we even tried the pregnancy card to gain approvalf his family but it just never came.

the doctors claimed that my two tubes are blocked and the only way out is IVF {i belive Gods report that there shall be no barren in the land, oh lord.!!! i cry with a broken heart, hear my cry, have mercy on your daughter}. the saddest part is that i didnt even live a rough life, so where did i go wrong, why me, why this burden, all my mates and friends all have their babies or are heavily pregnant, but mine,

ive gone through painful and humiliating proceedures, tried from HSG to hydrotubation, homonal profiling, to chlomid to even fellipo, i even went trado herbal but my period just came again and i feel like dying.

even today, the doctor suggeted that i get my husband to do a spermatozoa analysis, he bluntly refused and reminded me that the problem was with me and that he is fine, whats the big dealn having a test, afterall, low spermatozoa count is well treatable and can be easily rulled out, he got so upset, called me all kind of names except a "barren woman" black and white.

the saddest part is that his family are so hostile towards me, ive even recieved slaps and physical and verbal abuse from his siblings. so i wonder what happens a year from now, two yrs, and no child.

my husband is so upset now, because of a simple spermatozoa analysis, he drove out this night.  think he is back but he didnt come to our room. i feel really bad. what about me, HSG, hydrotubation, \

so Dear God. im looking at you once more, with tears in my heart and a broken spirt and multilated heart, pls grnt me a miracle, pls touch my life a little. pls lift my burdens, have mercy on me, wipe my tears, save me from the wallowing darkness of this days of depression,

i hope i see the sunshine and i become a testimony like other blessed sisters arlington, lovely, e.t.c,

Dear lord, im waiting on you, you and you alone because on my own, im empty, hurt and in pains
You are blessed, sweetheart. I hope everyone who reads this will join you in saying a prayer. I will do the same. Just wake up every day and thank God for your babies, they will come in Jesus' Name. Stay in a positive mood always.

^^^ I believe you said you live in England and proudly practice that thread there, Good and fine to you if you want to maintain the same  system that keeps drawing the minds of many Africans back to the old century thing. However, I still maintain my word that most of the said cultures we maintained are the causes of our problem in terms of development, because we tend to appreciate them instead of finding another solution to replace the outdated one. We cannot develop if we continue to imply the old system in the present day life. We need to task our brains on the way out of our societal issues that keep us grounded. African arise and measure up to the certainties on ground. Nevertheless, those things we claim are our culture is because we lack the needs to move from one stand to another. Why are we not still living in the olden day's mud house as part of our lifestyle?
Come on now, we can't compare mud-huts to baby-backing! Backing of the child is a way of living, not just a culture. It is in our blood!! Doing it in public though, is a matter of choice as I have always said. And the women should use good wrapper now abeg!! LOL. It's annoying when they use one mud-coloured yeye wrapper tongue.

Lol, well well well, our JJ is such a celeb that they have a look-alike and name-alike of him already tongue. Pshchew, another cute-face blond male. Yawwwn. Why was the crowd booing? Yes, the men in the house are just bleeargh tongue. Even Ben that I found fascinating is beginning to draw like draw soup grin. Sorry, too razz. OK, he's getting boring. Can these British guys be fine sef? Maybe a mixed race or hunky black guy because I aint putting no hope on any "good looking" white British male. We have had more than five in the BB house and none of them are worth writing home about. Yeah, I heard about the new housemates. What a tip. HOW will the new ones cope??

I didn't know ogbono was healthy, especially with the oil,  even my mother told me the same. How so?
Lol, I have undertaken the experiment and discovered the fact: ogbono is definitely healthier. You need less oil to cook it. Less salt. You could use just fish and it would still come out fine. Also, try eating ogbono with a bowl of pounded yam grin. You will still feel light, unlike eating egusi with a bowl of poundy grin grin grin. You will have to be carried from the dining table. It just has to do with the components of either soup. Egusi is definitely heavier and thus less healthy. But does it really matter? To me taste is everything, and I choose ogbono, though I still gat love for egusi cheesy. But it aint my fave.
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother 11 Uk Final Series by maedan(f): 3:21am On Jul 21, 2010
@ sara j, Dave was really out of order with his criticism, you are absolutely correct. He did the same thing with the first Rachel, complaining in the diary room that she was displaying herself in skimpy clothes and that once he had even seen her **ahem** and she wasn't wearing knickers! Even Ben called her a naughty woman when he was consoling Josie. They are all jealous of Caiomhe, and made sure they made her uncomfortable. I do hope Josie has shot herself in the foot somehow. She's not the winning housemate as far as I'm concerned. Corin to win!!

sara j:
Anyone watching live feed?
Caoimhe just walked. John James
has gone into the nest crying.
Josie dosen't look impressed.
I definently think JJ fancied Caoimhe now.
Gosh, it was BLATANT that he fancied her! I caught him many times following her with his eyes when ever she was displaying grin herself. That's why Josie felt so threatened: Caiomhe was more competition than the two new female housemates put together. In fact, I saw more chemistry btw JJ and Caiomhe than with Josie.

But that night of the "wet shirt" made the whole house turn against her, especially the righteous males. Caiomhe just happened to get her white shirt wet and her bra-less boobs were on show while she ran around the house. She became an outsider after that, and maybe that's why she left. It's a shame though. People are finding it's not worth it to stick around and that's a bad sign for this year's BB. Who else will be frustrated into walking next??
CultureRe: African Ladies Abroad Carrying Babies On Their Back!(Dirty Clothes) by maedan(f): 9:12pm On Jul 19, 2010
Just yesterday I saw one woman with a baby on her back get on the bus, and I thought of this topic grin. The wrapper was not very appealing tongue. But then I thought, who cares?? She might not have the money for a "buggy", and then again, it's easier and less of a fuss to just wrap your baby to your back and forget about him /her till you get to your destination. That way, the baby hardly cries and even dozes all through the trip, due to the steady and reassuring feeling of the warmth of its mother's back. I do think that, aside from the unsightly wrappers used, backing of the baby is a recommended style of child transportation grin grin grin grin!!!

Ogbono and rice! Now, that's an adventure.
Yes, one I just undertook a few minutes ago. Yum!! All the talk about ogbono made me thirst for a plate of it. So I cooked me a big pot of ogbono. I like your little Ogbono Essay, @ MyJoe. Yes, the secret of ogbono is to cook it over very high heat, to get it bubbling and bring out its full potential. My other secret style is to heat the palm oil on the lid of the boiling pot of dried fish and pepper, then stir in the ground ogbono into the heated oil, till it melts So it's actually the steam from the cooking pot that melts the ogbono into the oil. When it's a smooth paste, I can then pour it into the boiling pot. The results are always amazing! I cook the ogbono till the soup draws in a straight unbreaking line when you spill it from the stirring spoon.

Basically egusi is the "show" soup, when you want to impress your diners with your colourful cooking skills, as egusi is a very pleasing-to-the-eye dish, with its red oil, yellow egusi and green veg and red peppers/tomatoes. But when you want a healthy, simple yet sumptous meal, then ogbono paired with your favourite swallows is the ticket wink!!!

I don't really know why, but I just feel compelled to say how much I dislike John James. Just watching him go on the "JJ Attack" with Ife, about what she said in the diary room about his feelings for Josie. Everyone has a right to have an opinion, but he's going on and on and on as if Ife committed a crime. I know she's out now and he's not to blame, but seeing how he rants on, even when the other party has explained sincerely, makes me SICK. I hope he loses, the overgrown brat!!!

^^^^You need to understand that JJ fancies Josie but he is so clueless about flirting, romance or ladies in general. He is a big wussbag, If any attractive girl comes into the house in place of Josie,he will still behave same way.I guess he is used to girls lusting over him,so he doesnt have any idea how to initiate anything.

If Nathan was in same position, he would have been rumbling with Josie under the sheets now. Is it only me that can see Crab eyes is blank and only good in arguing with girls?
All this may be true. But I just do not see any chemistry between them And trust me, I would know. He does like her; Josie seems to have a sunny, motherly quality that the little boy in JJ finds comforting. But please, keep anything carnal out of it because there's just noooo sexual tension in the air.

~Gutted! She had the potential of been a great HM8! BTW,are you trying to rub it in?https://www.labnol.org/assets/images/YahooSmileys/smileys30.gif You did say she'll be out! What do you think might have triggered the booing she got? Yet to watch the interview. . it takes a day for the Replay to be loaded on my On Demand box. . .
The booing is for how seriously she started to take herself recently. The thing is, if you're a boring housemate, just stay that way, don't go causing ripples and negative vibes. Nathan discovered this to his cost, when he slagged Shabby off and called her a "raincloud of doom". Sunshine made the same error when she annoyed everyone with those crisps that she wouldn't share. In Ife's case, it was her fall-out with her two pals. It's ok to be hurt, but she didn't have to get so mad at them. Her reaction was inexcusable, and even I lost all interest in her after that. She didn't act like a lady at all - and besides, what Shabby and Caiomhe did wasn't THAT bad!! In short, Ife messed up, big time!

And as for the Triple J (JJ & Josie) romance, PLEASE don't ask me to comment grin grin. I have NO interest in their affair, as far as I'm concerned, she is not his type romantically or sexually. She is just like a big sis to him, a bodyguard to protect him in the house. "Getting it on" with Josie, as all you fans are banking on, is the last thing that's going to happen. But hey, this is BB, who knows? I might be wrong!

This is getting boring. I mean the fascination with JJ and Josie's friendship. The other girls are building it up to more than it really is. I don't think they truly fancy eachother: with JJ it's just a dependancy thing: he relies on her for a lot. While she uses him as a prop too, and is drawn by his good looks but not his personality. If two people really fancy each other, esp in BB house, they HARDLY need any help from other housemates to get them together!
