I was so shocked when I saw this on TV earlier this morning. Or maybe I'd always suspected. I mean, why should he be any different from the rest?? Crouch, Beckham and Co. Only Gerrard left now - and if I ever hear anything about him, ehhnn, . |
So lengthy, rambling-like posts/arguments is what it takes to get any respect around here, heh? What a farce . |
Thanks for the pix. Though why are most of the actresses a size 22 or above?? Loved the chick in the blue dogtooth dress anyway. |
Lo, @ poster, thankfully I saw the original joke so I laughed my head off. Quite funny actually . |
Please Don't Let Me Go - Olly Murs (X-Factor) |
denzel2009:lol. I must see it one day!! |
And just as an obiter (an aside), lol, pls can someone tell me why Victor Ebuwa is NEVER hatless? i have nevevereverever seen him without a hat/cap on! Or do I have to google this?? I saw some clips from the series he was in, and he had ratty hair, yes, but is that the reason why he's permanently capped? Geez. |
Wow, I knew there was something about that girl. Good performance, she deserves the hype. |
yorke:wow, make una just dey keep am coming this ur romantic rhymes go make me start humming so even is she dey at fault, na you go apologise ![]() this ur sweet mouth go make d girl head dey swell & rise! |
Lol, what is it about Nigerians, that they must stand out every year?? At least one will catch our eye! I like this Adeleye guy, hope he improves with time and goes far! I won't rule out another Nigerian or two more in the future episodes! |
From what I've seen, Nadia is the best BB housemate I've ever watched, followed by Makosi. They were too big for this show. They shouldn't have picked on Ulrika, thinking she would get the boot by painting her in a bad light. The public always love the underdog. Look at Andrew and JJ, who would have thought?? Anyway, not much else to watch now. I like Nasty Nick but he looks so shifty and on edge, while Victor is just a joke, lol. Naija in his blood for sure! I loved how Makosi walked out on BBBM, and I'm happy Nadia didn't demean herself further with that circus. She was a no-show, and rightly so! |
What a funny bunch they all are! I hardly know any of them - in fact I didn't know about any of the lot, since I just started seriously watching this crap a year or so ago - but these folks are really freaky. No wonder Josie escaped! Looking forward to seeing Brian Bello go in, if ever. It's such a pity though that noone from the BB11 is in the house. Maybe one day soon, they'll push someone in! I can't choose who, can you?? |
@ MyJoe Wow, you are full of surprises! This was very well written, with a lot of sensitivity and your usual class . I enjoyed the whole story, but I was definitely blown over by the closing sentence:"Ingrid’s tearful pleas found not a single pair of heedful ears in that medieval crowd. A roadside vulcaniser volunteered a tyre, a danfo bus driver offered some petrol, an idle smoker proffered a match, and an eager passer-by struck it." I guess reading books by folks like Dostovesky & co. do a lot to colour one's prose. Maybe I'll try them sometime !! |
efepro:Lol, this poem don take me back to the good old days when Naija loff rhymes dey full of romantic dramas & plays ![]() I happi say love go always dey the major theme Of this our home-based romantic rhyming team . |
sara j:Lol, yeah well, I think the Tree will soon be redundant cos these BB vets (veterans) can stir up shit on their own, thank y0u . Wasn't sure Victor was Nigerian, but now I am. Loving Makosi's confidence, love it when she dresses all African and does her thing . She's a strong black chic and every Bb house needs one. |

Dr finn:wow!!! |
Ok folks, watched tonight's episode. Could it be that Coolio has left the house? Just when I was getting to like him (after he apologized to everyone in the bedroom). Could this be like the last BB11 where pple were just walking out of the house at will? Lol. I'll be flipping glad when the whole shebang is over and no more BB ever! No, of course I don't mean that. . |
We totally need a new thread. Gosh! Especially when the live shows start. Saw some good boy bands/ girl bands tonight, hope they go far. Over all, there's been less weirdness/whackiness and some serious auditioning. There might be hope for this series after all. Can't wait to see Pixie Lott judging. Love her songs! |
Sorry guys, haven't been keeping up with the show, I was afraid to watch it bc I didn't want to catch McCirrick picking his nose and eating it! :-XLOL>@funkybaby, even I know Josie would have won, because no matter what, in any eviction, she would have got more public votes than any other housemates she would have been up against. Anyway, she was no match for any of the folks in the house. I wish they had let even one of the other housemates, maybe the second or third runner up, to go in with her from the beginning. Anyway, I have no real favourites till I see the rest of the future cast .@ sara j, I'll try and watch tonight's update to find out if that's true! |
yorke:Wow , I really enjoyed this instalment ![]() E don add plenty to our permanent merriment Because for here na 24-7 good-time entertainment No jealousy, no bitterness, and no discouragement ![]() Na so-so positivity be the reason for our joint involvement .Thanks guys!! |
