Sonofpeace:
what we ol re fighting for over here is not main thing is just to understand the grammar en the definition of the grammar used by the poster. Firstly, we av to understand the meaning of the post, en secondly the purpose of the post. The meaning of the post is simply how can somebody fall in love with another person he/she av not met offline and The purpose of the post is to ascertain the reasons behind online love fallen. I think nobody will fall in love with some1 he/she do not know, anybody that does so, does it through lust en not love.
Excellent. The OP knew the point being made: why do people fall in love onlinehuh Online being the operative word here. They have not met, probably not even spoken(via phone or web) and even if they have shared webcams and skype calls. . . .how can you fall in love with someone you have not even physically met tongue?? Call me old fashioned and so be it, so long as that old fashioned definition of love (long-lasting, sincere, genuine) still applies undecided.

Uh oh. My comrade-in-bans (I mean arms, lol) Na wah ooo. Anyway, I guess it's high time we allow the thread to rest. I mean we have tried. One year is ok to prove our God-given talents grin.

Special thanks to the originator, rotimy, to ruudie, the flamboyant rhymer, to semiid4life, the solid pidgin blaster, even to adebayo201, without whom it would not have been the same cheesy. FL Gators, the occasional yet welcome vibe-slinger too. In fact, everyone who ever dropped a ryhme, you try wink.
FoodRe: Egusi Lumps by maedan(f): 9:08pm On Feb 16, 2010
Not a fan of the lumpy version myself. As a kid I was always miffed when I chewed on a lump thinking it was meat, and got disappointed. That annoyance remains with me even now. Though if the lumps are tiny and crumbly (like scrambled eggs) I can manage it tongue cheesy.
LiteratureRe: Commonwealth Short Story Competition by maedan(f): 8:45pm On Feb 16, 2010
How nice of you! Now I hope all the budding and seasoned writers who keep asking for critiques will take this golden opportunity. I'm not into short stories but for some extra quid cheesy tongue I could jog myself into writing one. Will have to tweak my friends/family for ideas, though, cos for now, hmmmn. . . writer's block tongue.

Funny enough, I kind of like her cheesy. She's quite talented in forming topics!!! In fact, she's got spunk. She'll grow on ya, don't worry, lol.
Nairaland GeneralRe: 10 Things You Hate Abt Lagos by maedan(f): 10:46pm On Feb 14, 2010
Lol. Nice topic.

I hate NTA Lagos too!! In fact, NTA nationwide!?! Rotf.

Hate the lack of parks for kids to play.

Hate the crazy driving cos there're no traffic lights.

Hate to see the kids risking their lives on the streets hawking.

Hate the flipping garbage everywhere!!

Hate the poorly maintained main markets.

I absolutely hate the police, they seem menancing instead of friendly.

Hate the narrow roads/streets.

Hate that you can't take a peaceful stroll at night.

Hate how everything is so frigging overpriced in Lagos!!!

Finally, I hate that I'm not there right now. Daymn, I love Lagos!!

Lose all decorum? I guess 'I trust you to show up at this juncture' = 'simple request' in the barbaric spleen you erupted from.
Fact: spikedcylinder goes sniffing around maedan's posts ALL THE TIME.

Fact: spikedcylinder is only happy online when she finds a post remotely insulting being directed at maedan. In which case she will promptly stick her nose in.

These facts can be proven. But to what purpose? She knows, and I know. But it's toooo pathetic.

Hope you dream about me and my veejayjay tonight. Dryo useless excuse for a mod.

Soon you'll go crying to debosky to ban me like you did the last time.

Like it was personally refering to them. Even so-called mods lose all decorum and start mentioning private parts of members in reply to a simple request. I guess some things change, but some things will always remain the same.

Trust you to show up at this juncture. Please if you know this clown you better talk him back to his senses because I don't think I resemble the person who turned him into the frustrated baboon that he is. Attacking my post like it was made personally to him.

You can meet, make friends online, big deal. Are they real, substantial friendships? Only time will tell. But falling in love online (not the same as meeting online, then meeting in person, falling in love, dating and if possible, getting married) is hardly worth writing home about. But only HARDLY.

Are you foolish?  I asked you a simple question.  If you are too myopic to understand the question, let alone answer it then say so.  Don't make a fool of your dimwitted self.  Mumu.
silly harlot. may your Arrow expand twice in size by tomorrow morning lol
I can see you're desperate for my attention. Since you didn't even bark at the OP and the many others calling you a FOOL for seeking love online. Please, face your emotional, sexual and psychological frustrations to the woman who jilted your loser self. H2o.

H2o or what ever you label your specimen self, please stop reacting like a retarded Buffon. I said MOST of the e-love relationships don't have substance. Not ALL. That was my general point but the way you jumped to reply, one would think you're praying to find your future wife online. On NL maybe? Uncouth clown.
RomanceRe: Why Do Some People Fall In Love Online? by maedan(f): 11:38pm On Feb 13, 2010
Most of these e-love experiences are just a phase. They wear off, they pass because as always, real life happens. Enjoy it while it lasts though.

LiteratureRe: St. Janet Poetic Yoruba Lyrics by maedan(f): 11:25pm On Feb 13, 2010
Calling herself St. something is in itself looking for trouble, since she is far from a Christian if her lewd lyrics are anything to go by. Cheap fame-seeking I guess.

Wow. Such low sales. So even with all the goodwill from all the sympathetic fans, she couldn't sell more. I wonder what really went on inside the car that night.

PoliticsRe: Reps Team Denied Access To Yar’adua by maedan(f): 5:02am On Feb 12, 2010
Na wa o, is it by force. Someone doesn't want to see you/ be seen; it's called privacy and that's why the Saudi's respect that. Either that or they all don't want you to discover the real condition of the ailing president.

In short this is turning into an inter-continental joke.
FoodRe: China Bans Dog From Olympic Menu by maedan(f): 4:57am On Feb 12, 2010
Lol, it's like asking some Nigerians to give up eating ponmo. Dog meat is a national delicacy for this people; it's going to be tough because so many of their main local dishes consist of dog meat. These Westerners and their sensibilities sef. Some people keep chickens/lambs as pets but noone can stop others from putting chicken/lamb in their cooking pot tongue.

No buts, babe, just do it smiley. So long as you "mould" it properly in the size (big or small) that you want, you may then place it into your pot in which your soup is cooking.
FoodRe: Egusi Lumps by maedan(f): 4:19am On Feb 12, 2010
Lol. I can't really remember how my ma used to do it, but I think she put the egusi in a dish, added a little water, and made little lumps which she dropped into the bubbling pot of soup. In essence we never "fried" our egusi at home, we cook it.

And take it easy on the p/oil, too. Too much cholesterol, babe.
