Ahmed0336:The guy you quoted is right, just because he said my new crib doesn't mean it's not mortgaged. Mortgaged is the most advised option for procuring houses in U.S.. Then, he can use the payment plan to build his credit and have a little tax slammed against him come next year. And if it's true he bought it outrightly, I wish him luck and looking forward to IRS's visit next year. OUTRIGHT PAYMENT FOR L.A.? HMMM UNA GO SOON HEAR THE TRUE TORY |
There are two thinngs involved which i believed , First it's either that house is mortgaged which can be retrieve whenever there is a default on payment structure or he lease it. But if the news is true, then I am happy for him at the same time IRS Will be elated. LA with such huge house for a middle class earner? Hmmmm. Y'all keep on believing shits. |
Why calling on the state government who were never in the know when they were leaving the shores of Nigeria. From PH to SW is less down 10k, they should rally their friends to contribute. |
Divay22:Thank you jare ma sister. Looking at that man, you can clearly see he was deported. His dressing and outfit alone says a thousand words. The long arm of the law caught up with him and justice is served. We are quick to sympathy without first finding the cause. Quick to Blame the government and his village people for his own mistake. He even fit dey pretend in order to cover shame. Na that kain luggage voluntary abroad returnee dey carry come? |
Xbee007:Thanks for the update. Hopefully they will let it be accessible to the populace or few selected 3rd party public individual to check if they are new or not. These is an annual cultural practise for the force families and public in the US. |

This is a good development, but i don't agree with buying these second hand planes. I believe as a nation we are buoyant enough to acquire new ones or better still upgraded ones from the US government. I am sure that the purchase price for these second hand aircrafts are way more higher than acquiring new ones. The US government will never use this for airshow not to talk of actual scouting. Why can't we buy the F-series especially the F-22 since the sole aim of buying these aircrafts is to bomb insurgents. |
ibroh22:Yes sir, establish contact through the email. Thanks |
inkon:Got your email sir. Will be getting back to you ASAP. |

He doesn't have to exceed the nunber of years of his ban. Re-entery depends on why he was deported and you never can tell, he might have won the immigration case but can't get back due to financial reasons or he is comfortable with his living standard in Nigeria compare to when he was in the US. |
What state are you in the US? Most states in the US won't allow roaming from most naija telecom operators. Like someone already recommended , buy metro pcs or any other pre-paid mobile carriers (go to the nearest Wal-Mart) until you're settled and decides which carrier you will opt for. |
Hi op, your works are fascinating. I sent you an email request kindly please respond to it. ASAP I am not one of those people that solicits for funds through nairaland. I like your projects and will like to discuss business with you and probably get a quote. Thanks TOM speaktome: |

SirJeffry:At OP, if I read you correctly, you're in the United States and you're talking about a third party payment and contractor... I am really disappointed in you. If truly you've travelled like you claimed, you will know it's nothing new. Atleast you've filed taxes in the US , let's assumes you always get a tax refund and you have never owed any back taxes to irs, I am sure you have friend who has at one time or the other owed Irs, ..IRS in the United States doesn't process your payment money, it has to go through a third party which will attract a processing fee of atleast $107 (as at this year 2016 tax that's the least filling fee which comes out of your bank acct). Sometimes I come here to read some wannabe who always use Nigeria to gain some cheap publicity... This procedure happens virtually in all countries... when you're paying with visa or MasterCard for visa processing you don't complain or is mastercard a US government entity? . Smh. Pardon my sentence construction.. I am just angry at how people see Nigeria as the worse country ever. |
Recently, the PREMIUM NEWS platform reported the alleged lopsided process in the recruitment into the State Security Service (SSS). The sentiment of tribal affiliation is being blamed for the lopsidedness in the recruitment and disqualifications of many willing and qualified Nigerian into the service. A source to PREMIUM NEWS stated that Mr. Daura the Director General of the Secret Service is famous for his pro-North sentiments. According to this source as reported by Premium News “He is currently spending billions to build a training school in Katsina, and he has told close friends that before his departure from the SSS, he would ensure the agency is dominated by personnel from his part of the country,”. This is in addition to the news making the rounds that the ongoing recruitment process into the Nigerian Air force is flawed by nepotism and tribalism. President Mohammudu Buhari has also been accused of favoring the northern part where he is from in his appointments than other part of the country. Almost all Nigerians have stories of how they or somebody close to them have been robbed of their rights, privileges, opportunities, and benefits due to the fact that they are not from a certain tribe in the country. Tribalism is no doubt one of the biggest problem of the Nigerian State. But can Nigerians be Tribal Blind? One important features that can never go unnoticed about our country Nigeria, is the fact that Nigeria has a large number of independent tribes, about 250 tribes that are striving to assert themselves. One thing obvious is that this large numbers have not accumulated into strength for the country, but, strife, problems and disunion. It’s like putting 250 teenagers in one room, without adults to supervise their activities. William Golding’s “Lord of the flies” illustrates this much better. The Nigerian problem has its root in tribal consciousness and discrimination. Nigerians make decisions based on their tribal interest and not on the country’s collective goals. It is in Nigeria, that our tribe dictates our attitude to our neighbor, even if they are Nigerian. Apart from the name, a person would always want to know what tribe his acquaintance is from, (if he or she can’t deduce it from his name) before he can take such a person serious or be motivated to render any assistance to such a person. Nigeria is not just endowed in the area of tribe, we are gifted in population, human and natural resources, and also considerable in the area of land mass. However, the benevolence of God has however been defeated by the constant tribal clashes, which in most cases have being color in various undertone. Sometimes, this clashes have been hung on religion. The various killings in Benue are popular scenarios that give credence to this issue. Initially the clashes are premised on the fact that farmers in the north-centre Nigeria were aggrieved by the ruthless invasion and destruction of their farmlands by the Fulani herd men, only for the crisis to metamorphose into confrontations and attacks, mass killing leading to death of the indigenes of different communities, the Fulani herdsmen have always being accused of being the culprit, an allegation that have not publicly denied or acknowledged. Apart from the obvious tribal conflict, there are other issues that punctuates the issue of tribal disunity. One of these issues is mutual suspicion. It is obvious that trust is a mirage among the plethora of tribes in the country, even our founding fathers displayed their tribalistic tendencies. Their politics was not for mutual progress, but for sectional gratification. This is one of the factor that ruined their agendas. The popular discussion between the then first Prime Minister, Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa and the first President of Nigeria Nnamdi Azikiwe, explains the pressure tribal affiliation had on the performance of their duties. When Nnamdi Azikwe advised that we should forget our difference and work together as the people of a nation, all he tried to do was to manage the problem that seemed to be with us, right from the period we became conscious we are different and the fact that we are merged together as a nation by the ordinance of one man, (Lord Lugard). Sir Abubaker Tafawa Belewa understood better, he said that our difference was as apparent as our reality, and therefore, cannot be forgotten by any conscious effect, but by the understanding of these differences, and the respect for them. The fact that we have decided to carry our difference on our heads and faces have not done us any good, apart from the constant, Political, Social and psychological conflict this attitude has bequeathed us, it eventually ruined the lofty dreams of the founding fathers of this Nation. It has shattered our national goals and have made us an object of ridicule in the eyes of the world. We are like the people of the Biblical Shinar, who lost their collective goals when God invoked confusion on them by confounding their language. It is time to think as a nation. The reality is that we are stuck together as of this moment, it is time to understand our differences and understand ourselves for mutual survival and development, thereby bequeathing a great Nigeria to our generation unborn. Thanks OP for raising this question. I have always wondered why close to 40 percent of the white garment church members have natural dreadlocks. 99 percent of these dreads are natural and I have come to observe that most of them are being requested by the parents ( spiritually and only the priest can solve this misery) because they saw it as a form of power and belonging to spiritual realm. They always keep the newly born hair while other churches and Muslims cut this hair off within 8 days due to their own belief and doctrine. Before someone go come ask me how I take know say dem dey wish for dread spiritually, I have numerous white garment priests In my family. |
I actually don't know what stage your kidney stone is but I know drinking organic cranberry juice do help a lot ( you have to drink it religiously) Or you can go through this procedure which is another tested and trusted option although I don't know if we carry the requirements in Nigeria but you can check pharmacies and make sure you use organic and not concentrates. http://www.livestrong.com/article/127974-epsom-salt-olive-oil/ Follow the link to your liberation and freedom |
ayindejimmy:I agree with you 100 percent on this. Even though i am not a security agent, atleast i have seen such movie where investigative skills are being used. You will be surprised to know that billions are being spent on these decadent agencies in Nigeria for training and equipment purchase yet there is nothing to show for it. I ain't surprise though, the same thieves are the ones at the helm of affairs in Nigeria. |
Is Corruption really fighting back or is it a case of ineptitude on the part of the relevant agencies charged with fighting corruption? This issue has always been on my mind and today it came to the fore when I engaged with a friend regarding corruption and Nigeria. Our focus was on EFCC (Economic and Financial Crime Commission), with their latest discovery of cash at a location in Osborne, Ikoyi. I was of the opinion that the EFCC is a toothless bull dog who engages in barking a lot but my friend insisted that whilst the EFCC do have their short comings but the blame goes to the judiciary. Inadvertently the FBI was mentioned and my friend decided to share with me some tweets from popular activist Omojuwa who “derided the low funding of EFCC and juxtaposed their budget with that of the FBI”. This got me laughing because apparently it is a no brainer comparing both agencies, as their scope of duties, their jurisdiction and their modus operandi vary a lot, more so the judiciary system these agencies have to work with. That is an argument for another day, as today we are discussing the EFCC and the high profile cases it lost within 96 hours. Obasanjo believes that EFCC has been losing due to lawyers hired to prosecute cases, poor investigations and the judiciary, he puts it succinctly here : “So it is a line: investigation, prosecution and the judiciary. If there is a weakness along this line, chances are that corruption cases will be lost”. And I support this, I mean you have to build an airtight case before you proceed to court, but what we have seen has been basically a media trial. With its recent raid at Ikoyi, EFCC are yet to announce the owner of the seized cash, a situation which has allowed the media to propound theories which unfortunately is not going to help anybody. Kudos of course to the EFCC for their discoveries, but so far, no one has been jailed, no one is answering for anything, we do not even know the source of these monies being recovered. Were the monies embezzled? Or are they just gifts as claimed by the man from Kaduna? It is not enough for the EFCC to engage in paparazzi and then end up losing where it matters most- the court of law. We need the EFCC to carry out thorough investigations for each discovery they make before coming to the public with it. The EFCC should be able to provide us with full details like the name of the person involved, the amount, and how the person got the money, not a charade that sees both EFCC and the media engage in a spectacle that leads nowhere. Of course there are mitigating factors that might hinder EFCC from prosecuting looters of the treasury, but we have to understand that building an airtight case will reduce the cases lost by the anti corruption agency, thus bringing hope that Nigeria will be rid of the scourge of corruption eventually. pirees:Yemoja can be termed as the official name for all water spirits.. To my understanding based on research , YEMOJA is the goddess of the sea while osun, oya, river ogun are the offspring of Yemoja just like God's and the gods, Zeus a short the other gods, I hoped my explanation helps... Yemoja is the mother of all water deity but that doesn't mean she is the most influential or powerful |
Ask the scientists, they know it for a fact, water brought about the evolution of man, and even the bible i.e. the oldest record of history even submits to this truth because it said “he made the earth to appear and separated the water from the waters”. Ask any African man, water is life and it cover over 50% percent of the surface of earth and that also goes for the human anatomy. Why do I lay emphasis on this? So you would understand the importance of an Orisha such as myself and so when other orisha’s come to you and tell you how important they are and how powerful and vast their domain is, ask them the depth of my power. No god crosses my path when am angry, they should know better than to cross a stormy sea and I mean that literarily as the seas take a reflection of my mood. On a good day, am also calm like the beautiful scenic sea’s you see in pictures. I appear dressed in seven skirts of blue and white and like the seven seas and profound lakes, I am deep and unknowable just like man will never know what the bottom of the oceans hold. Maternity is also my domain, meaning I am the Mother of All as it reflects in a shortened version of my name YeyéOmoEja “Mother Whose Children are the Fish” to reflect the fact that her children are uncountable. All life starts in the sea, the amniotic fluid inside the mother’s womb is a form of sea where the embryo must transform and evolve through the form of a fish before becoming a human baby. All mothers like me are strong, caring, kind, virtuous, as well as strict and hardcore (note: all mothers are women but not all women are mothers, which is why they are the best representation a goddess could ever ask for) Bómi ìyámi Sómi tómi Bomi t’òkun Wè isé àjé mogbé jinà Fi bun mi omodé Fi bun mi aláàfíà Má kò àjé je mi Má kò enia buburú pa mi Yemoja ìyá gbogbo Bómi ìyámi Ase http://megasblog.com/yemoja-mother-of-the-sea/

The hunt is not what it used to be, I used to be celebrated for great kills such as the mammoth, saber-toothed tiger and the likes and now what do I have to show for going for a hunt? Lions, tigers, cheetahs, these are not games, these are child’s play. They were preys of the animals I hunted for sport, and even man can go into the bush and kill a lion nowadays, how then do I distinguish myself from such minor beings? Why then would they fear and cower before me the Orisha of the forest and one of the three warrior orishas referred to as the “Ebora” in the Yoruba religion, “emi Oshosi”. Now I am identified with the likes of Saint Sebastian in the Rio de Janeiro area of Brazil, most often shown in representations tied and shot full of arrows, which led to his association with the hunter orisha. I do the shooting of arrows, while my prey runs around scared like the early men when they encountered dinosaurs. Talking about man, I have never seen a specie that breeds more than rats than human beings, they just keep multiplying like that’s the only thing they are good at. Well that’s the only thing they are good at, since they have forgotten the hunt. Now they talk about conserving the wild, how did they get here in the first place if not for their stupidity. Burning bushes, reducing forests to farm lands, rearing animals hindering them from evolving, why Obatala took the time to make them I wonder. And what ticks me off the most is this dumb channel on DSTV called NAT GEO WILD, who is Nat? And what does he knows about the wild? Man has so lost his way, he used to be one with nature, I used to join the bravest of them in the hunt but now it’s just me in my domain where I never believed I would refer to as cozy and them in their forest of civilization. source: http://megasblog.com/oshosi-the-orisha-of-the-hunt/

The Nigerian Music industry is one of the best and most trending in the world of entertainment at the moment. The industry has a large fan base all over the world and even our artistes seem to be the ones with most international collaborations at the moment. These days, it is starting to look like our artistes are needed by all other artiste in the world, especially knowing that we have the ready market in Nigeria. However, the speed with which the industry is growing is the same speed it is using to decay. It now looks like when you have a 9 year old kid who weighs about 90kg already but is so dull in the head that it makes you insane. Maybe because of the vastness of the industry, it has now become filled with buffoons and dullards and all sorts of Tom, Dick and Harry. It is not like I am against singing about prosperity but at least, make sense and say something meaningful not, “because I’m rich, all your girlfriends want to f**k me, in my Camry, ooooohhh yeeee, oooooohhh yeeee, oooooohhh yeeee.” I mean, what kind of lyrics are those? It has now become so bad that even the vast populace, especially the females who are being constantly insulted and talked about like trash in all these songs enjoy them even more than men and I wonder what is happening exactly. When a song is supposed to teach good principles and morals like it used to, it now teaches people how to smoke, drink, party, take drugs, go naked and just mess up entirely and people love it. The guy who owns the song is fully dressed in trousers, shirts, shoes, jackets, chains, caps and even socks and boxer shorts, we can see that because he is sagging his trousers and yet folding the helms. And yet the vixens he uses will be almost unclad and in recent times, sometimes just plain naked. It makes one wonder what the next generation will meet and if the next generation will even know the meaning of decency, morals and discipline. I just wonder. The Dino saga and its many implications for our Political and Educational system. Dino Melaye is currently trending due to a perceived attack from Sahara Reporters about his educational qualifications. Sahara Reporters exposed his lies about being a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Harvard University and London School of Economics and the Senator went to court to seek justice. It will be needless to bore you with all the events as we all are witnessing it, however it is mandatory we understand it’s implication for our country. This won’t be the first time such will happen. Indeed we remember the University of Toronto saga and of course, the President’s certificate issue. What is amazing is that Nigerians seem to revel in the heat of the moment and then move onto the next trending issue. From our past experience, we should have enacted laws to deal with issues like this but we have not. Political Implications The political implications for Nigeria as a country is damning. Let us put aside the charade the Senate has put up as an investigation into the matter. It achieved the purpose of clearing Dino Melaye of any wrongdoing regarding his ABU degree. What about the rebuttals from Harvard University and London School of Economics? Are those just going to be cast aside? What will the Senate do about a Honorable member’s false claim that he graduated from two foreign schools? We have seen and heard of people who lied about their certificates and were handed over to the police for investigation and possible prosecution. Will Dino Melaye be handed over to the police? Or will he still continue in office? This is why we need to make laws that punish those who lie about their educational qualifications. India has such a law that boots out politicians who lie about their educational background. You can read that here http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/Election-of-candidates-can-be-set-aside-if-they-lie-about-education-SC/articleshow/55193763.cms http://megasblog.com/the-dino-saga-and-its-many-implications/ . The onus now is on the National Assembly and Nigerians to prevent such saga next time. Educational Implications Dino Melaye’s saga also brought to the forefront a pervading issue which has contributed to the poor state of the nation. Our educational system is a mess that needs emergency attention. It took Harvard University and London School of Economics less than a day to clear the air on Dino’s matter but took ABU a week. Despite the Vice Chancellor admission that Dino graduated from ABU, Sahara Reporters claim certain Exam officers disagree with the Vice Chancellor. It is pathetic to think that a University cannot speak with one voice and agree on an issue. It is also sad that it took the Vice Chancellor’s appearance at the Senate for Nigerians to get an answer to a pressing issue. For me, it shows that being a professor in Nigeria does not necessarily mean you can run a university. You will agree with me that most of these professors really have nothing to offer our educational system. At this point, it is imperative that we do not allow this Dino issue die down and move on to the next trending issue. We need to ensure that we rise from this as a nation learning and evolving till we get the leaders who will lead selflessly without a certificate taint on them. This is the democracy we deserve.. source http://megasblog.com/the-dino-saga-and-its-many-implications/

deji68:Surely he can put his job on the line for dino, all it takes is a phone call from SP or the chairman senate committee on education and a subtle blackmail about cutting the school funding, transferring him somewhere or retiring him earlier. Our mentality has been blackened to the extent that we see bad as the new good. In advanced countries, secret police will be the one investigating not some stupid old hag senators who are trying to protect their very own rat. Investigators should look at Dino and the VC's phone conversation since last week and you will see where the truth lies. In a saner environment, by now Dino will either be in jail or would have step down for lying abt LSE, and Harvard. The masses get jailed for lesser offence in Nigeria |
Quis Custodiet ipsos custodies aptly describes the situation Nigeria finds itself in after a change of guard barely two years ago when Goodluck Jonathan handed over to Muhammadu Buhari. It is a quagmire Since then, it hasn’t been business as usual but what has been usual is the impunity of certain elements in governance. An abuse of responsibilities. Now the guards for me are the media (social media is a culprit), the legislature and the judiciary alongside government agencies. Let’s start with the media. Social media has been quite revealing making the world a very compact and small global village. We have seen from last year’s US presidential elections just how much power social media has most especially in terms of Fake News. Fake News in Nigeria has taken a significant rise with most bloggers more concerned with sharing of any news that will increase traffic rather than its effect on the polity. Quis Custodiet ipsos custodies? Now government is a continuum that has its power and legitimacy from the masses but the truth is the Nigerian government seems not to either understand or realize this fact and as such think they are not accountable to the people. Successive governments before the present government are all guilty, when we look at events from independence up till now. And what we have now is a seeming continuation of this disregard and a staunch belief from the government that its business as usual. Since a return to democracy in 1999, the National Assembly has refused to publish its budget, shrouding their expenses, their salaries, bonuses, allowances in secret, and they expect to be taken serious by the citizens in their oversight function of the Executive arm of Government. Their recent refusal to confirm Magu as EFCC chairman and insisting that Customs Boss Ali appear before them in the Customs Comptroller General Uniform makes one scratch his head wondering exactly what is going on. From stories flying around, we wonder if the senators really have the interest of the masses or are scared of “being guarded themselves”, after all, he who comes into equity must come with clean hands. Quis Custodiet ipsos custodes? The judiciary is no different, and we must understand that while Justice is blind, meaning no preferential treatment for anybody, our judiciaries are merchants and dealers of judgment, forgetting their sole duty of justice. It is a sorry case to see someone steal a phone and get hanged for it, while someone who looted the commonwealth of the nation gets a slap on the wrist. Our courts should have “Judgments for Sale” hanged just outside stating what is obtainable for all. Quis Custodiet ipsos custodes- who will guard the guard themselves? http://megasblog.com/quis-custodiet-ipsos-custodes-who-will-guard-the-guard-themselves/ Source: www.megasblog.com
