resurgent4oodua: Why Obi as President and Osinbajo as vice, why not vice versa?
You can't even hide your nepotism. It seems you igbos are oblivious of how you are viewed by other Nigerians. You better start adjusting your mindset... The Igbos are among the most loved people in Nigeria... Forget the envy bourne out of successes recorded by the them... The day an Igboman becomes President in Nigeria - and that day is not that far off - you will see a change of this narrative being used by traducers to paint Igbos in a bad light... |

Nels55: I love Osibanjo but he is sheep among wolves and to be honest he doesn't understand macro economies , he is a man of law .. He cant match with peter obi that has been a business man all his life and has gone to the best management schools in the world with 12 years of public policy.. Our brothers from the South West are emotionally attached to Osibanjo for obvious reasons... But truth be told, he is not that smart, at least, in providing practical solutions and thinking on his feet... Obi and indeed any savvy person will wipe the floor with him in a debate... I watched some of his speeches in the run up to the 2015 elections.... He was just blowing grammar and making idealistic assertions... There will always be one winner in this... |

slyfoxxjoe: you're obviously a low IQ moro.n because you lack basic comprehension skills. You think replying posts with big grammar straight from your dictionary, which I know is right beside you, will prove you're smart? Your poor punctuation incoherent use of words gives you away oga. Plus there was no 'innuendo' in my original post, if you even know what the word means. I said outright that Igbos are callous and vindictive amongst themselves which is a FACT! I just do not know how legit that particular report is..which I also made clear in my post. Dullard like yourself. It will be pointless continuing this interchange with you... In the final analysis, I am not known for suffering fools gladly... let alone doing an overkill on a personality whose vacuity is there for all to see... I will allow you to continue the sobbing in comfort but next time, try not to get so carried away as to be caught in self-indulgence. Only simpletons bring up the issue of the dictionary in an attempt to cover glaring inadequacy... Or use silly nitpicking when it is obvious they don't add up... |

slyfoxxjoe: you are either an illiterate or an im.becile or a combination of both. Did you not see where I started my comment with the words 'if true'? Meaning it was a conditional sentence depending on the veracity of the report, which, by the way, I do not find beyond the realm of possibility knowing Igbo people, but I have no way of verifying myself. You come here to blow big grammar in response to my simple comment which your low voltage brain does not even have the power to comprehend. Better sit down before I embarrass your generation for the whole nairaland to see. You must be a nitwit to sustain the impudence to elevate thoughtlessness to a high pedestal.... You think you are talking to low IQ people like yourself? You made a crass remark load with asinine innuendos and self-serving stereotypes and when you were called out for your pettiness, you chose to shadow-box... Next time take cognizance of your environment before going off at a tangent and indulging yourself... |

Mynd44: The court has ratified the law so it is legal and constitutional.
Headache inducing but still constitutional You should know better. The legal interpretation will be challenged up to the Supreme Court. Buhari is a tyrant whose time is up... The futile attempt to use legal technicalities to emasculate the opposition will not stop Buhari's inevitable r/ejection next year.. |

HungerBAD: You have a valid point brother.
These guys know each other very well, and if a section of the Eastern leadership is not comfortable with Obi representing them, and their interests, it means there might be things you and i(ordinary people) might not know about these guys.
But for now, Obi represents the closest thing to the Presidency that the East has now and I feel they should all rally behind him.
It should be a collective Eastern rally. Quit trying to fix what was never broken in the first place. Obi is a unanimous choice for all Igbos... Dave Umahi would have overreached himself if indeed he made the quoted remark.... Not that we are unaware of the sundry futile attempts by sections of South West media to sow seeds of division in Igbo affairs... It worked to some extent in the past... Today we are ten steps ahead of the petty chicanery... |

slyfoxxjoe: If true then this report is further evidence why Igbos can never produce a president. It's not so much an issue of marginalization by the north and south west as it is their own internal jealousy and lack of unity. One wonders about who is the bigger fool between you who can't make use of your brain to decipher a deliberate attempt by a faceless media platform to set a cat among the pigeons and all authors of confusion who are condemned to gnashing of teeth as they watched the Igbos soar inexorably.... |

Obasanjo is about the only Nigerian living who can go to any part of Nigeria and possibly confront the powers that be... even the highest traditional institutions ...and come back unscathed. Obasanjo can come to your village and slap your traditional ruler and nothing will happen. If Tinubu makes something as simple as a foray outside the South West, he risks being stoned to death.
