Family / Re: Mum's Wierd Prayer by mafolayomi(f): 4:37pm On Jul 08, 2011
talknafree:

@Poster, Prayers are not usually answered the very moment they are said. So in my opinion your mum is doing the best thing for you by trying to store up those prayers in a "barn" so when the time comes for you to settle down, you wont have riffraffs and the like of Mr c-o-r-k come your way.

the reason why we have a whole lot of unmarried single ladies that have reached and passed the attainable marriage age is because they only started praying for the future husbands to come by in their very late 20s (most of them thought they were rocking town at age 23-27 and didn't see the need to start begging God for the right man to come their way)

Just be and remain a good girl. mum loves you so much thats why she is helping you store up the prayers.

grin grin grin. what do you mean by dat? ar u now saying dat Mr Cork is not an husband material? smiley smiley smiley

Food / Re: What Diet To Be Followed To Gain Weight Quickly? by mafolayomi(f): 2:51pm On Jun 30, 2011
Tina Esi:

Hi Johnipitter, to gain weight is a very simple task, but before that do you think u need that much weight now? Secondly are you from a fatty background?
If however you still insist on weight gain, since food is our business, i could draw up a special food Time-Table for you to be followed religiously, and am sure in a short time you will gain much weight.

Hi Tina. Please, could you draw up a proper food time table for me? that has really been given me headache this days, that most time  I end up cooking the type of food that I wont feel like eating at the end of the day. Though I am blessed with a wonderful husby that eats anything in as much as is a good food.

grin grin grin ;. yeah, every woman wants me and my husby thing , but there are some situation that you will find yrself that u cant just do anything about but agree with yr husby. take for instance, my husby's immediate younger sis suddenly lost her husby last yr june, and since then, my husband has been d one helping her and d 3 kids financially, pay for house rent, celebrate d kids b/days, their sch fees etc, there ar other siblings o, onme is still in sch dat he pays d sch fees, another one just finished service but has not gotten a good job, his father is there. now, tell me, do i stop him from take care of all dis pple then i bcom a bad person? even though i know its affecting us financially? no i wont. but i will make sure am always doing something for myself, so that wen he is not having too much or when what his extended family wants bcoms more important than mine i can still take care of myself. every woman MUST be doing something. that is d koko

A little boy goes to his dad and asks, "What is politics?"

Dad says, "Well son, let me try to explain it this way: I'm the breadwinner of the family, so let's call me capitalism. Your Mom, she's the administrator of the money, so we'll call her the Government. We're here to take care of your needs, so we'll call you the people.

So the little boy goes off to bed thinking about what dad had said. Later that night, he hears his baby brother crying, so he gets up to check on him. He finds that the baby has severely soiled his diaper. So the little boy goes to his parents' room and finds his mother sound asleep. Not wanting to wake her, he goes to the nanny's room. Finding the door locked,

he peeps in the keyhole and sees his father in bed with the nanny. He gives up and goes back to bed. The next morning, the little boy says to his father, "Dad, I think I Understand the concept of politics now." The father says, "Good son, tell me in your own words ."
What you think politics is all about." The little boy replies, "Well, while Capitalism is screwing the Working Class, the Government is sound asleep, the People are being ignored and the Future is in deep shit."

Waoh, am so sorry that this is comi too late. i have bin very busy with the wedding stuff @ CC, yeah i have made up my mind by settling with apple green and burnt orange, but it wasn't easy atall, some pple ar colour blind, and this really gave me hell of a prob, anyway, am almost scaling thru. yeah, i will definately be having fushia pink in my colours, fushia ping and coffee brown ar d colour for the engagement/traditional marriage. but prob now is the colour that my man and i will be wearing on the trad day, its an inter tribal marriage, we will be wearing both yoruba and igbo attires, what colour will you suggest we choose? i know is not a must that it goes with the wedding colour. @ toytuns, i think i will just go with yr advise as per d bridal train and d men in suit, i will really want my man to look differ from the men in suit, what shld he wear to make him look differ? and what colour of suit shld he/they wear?thank you all 4 yr contribution smiley
