Phones / Re: Can I Get Any New Blackberry With A 35k Budget? by mafolayomi(f): 11:39am On Jan 10, 2011
bestads:

let me ask ,are you employed or self-employed and why do you want to spend N35K to purchase a BB and be complaining of unemployement when that money is more than enough to start off a business in Nigeria.

I started selling used phones on a show glass with N17K in oct 2009 in Otigba after searching for job for over 3 years with my B.Eng and was using an expensive phone and i was advised to sell the phone to start up this business.

Today i have two shops in computer village and i employ eight people and i am almost finished building my three bedroom bungalow in ikorodu.

Buying expensive phones is foolish investment especially for students and job seekers, Be wise, that N35K you plan to use a buy a BB that can be stolen same day can change your life forever if properly invested, see my website below and see why SALARY IS SLAVERY

gr8 advise!. it does not what it atall, except if u can really really afford it without it affecting anything undecided

Family / Re: Whose right is it to choose the Wedding location? by mafolayomi(f): 10:04am On Jan 10, 2011
odikwa serious o. i faced the same prob too wen my father inlaw 2 be insisted that d church wedding is going to take place in their own church and not mine, at first, i did not like it, (am yoruba he is igbo), cos in yoruba it has always bin d woman's church, cos we believe that after d wedding she will start attending her husby's church fully, and as a result they will like to honour her for d last time in her own church, for where, my father inlaw to be did not agree o, but thank God that my pple ar not xtains o, it would not have bin easy at all, they dey ar not even bothered if its gonna be in my church or hes. my bro, pls talk to yr woman, she is d only one i think u can convince on dis issue for peace to rain. how many mins ar u guys going to spend in d church afterall? and tank God u ar not going to be leaving in naija after yr wedding. u can always choose whichever church u so wish to attend after yr wedding, dat shld not be anybody's business, except u as d man insisted dat u must attend a particular church. wish u luck jare, e no easy o.

Romance / Re: She Can't Read Nor Write: What Should I Do? by mafolayomi(f): 3:38pm On Jan 05, 2011
This is strange! how come she can speak good english and cant read nor write?

Anyway, i guess if poster goes ahead and marry this lady, there might be problems in future. @ poster, what have u done to improve all these?  if u ar not ready to make any sacrifice on her behalf, then it means u ar not good for her, pls let her go!

You will continue having problems with her as regards these if you are not ready to help her. for u to have opened a thread because of her instead of helping her by looking for solutions to her inability to read nor write makes it smell as if u ar not for her!

Ujujoan:

cool cool cool

@ poster

Don't you have a mother or a female relative that can move in with you?

I suggest you inviter her over ASAP and turn her into a surrugate wife!

Give her money for the house upkeep, feeding and other things you usually rely on your wife for.

Give her control over your household, including your MIL.

Let your wife see her marriage crumbling before her and I bet she'll be desperate to save it!

I fear you are being too soft on them. If you don't want someone in your house, ask them to leave . . . simple!

@ Uju, that may not work, cos noth his wife and d MIL will so make life miserable for her that she wont be able to stay in that house. its better for him to report the situation to his wife's relatives i.e d good ones among them, or better still, let him involve his own family members too. that MIL must leave that house for peace to rain again. i wont allow that in my house anyway, i even trust my mum now, for her to stay for 3 days, u just have to give a serious cajole. some mothers sha undecided won kan sha ti e lojuti

Guidedee:

U've been blindfolded by ds your christian thing. Anyway Alhaji agba couldn't have accepted "christ as his personal lord and saviour" for d following obvious reasons known to him:
Jesus wasn't good to qualify as a savior - Mattew 19:16-17 & 20:20-23.
There's only one saviour - God. Isaiah 43 v 10-11, Hosea 13v4. and many more.
Christ wasn't sent to Alhaji agba, a nigerian, he was sent to d likes of Benjamin netanyau, Sharon etc - d isrealites Matthew 10 v 5-6,15 v 24.
If u want more, I have plenty.

grin grin grin grin. u ar very funny with "Christ wasn't sent to Alhaji agba, a nigerian, he was sent to d likes of Benjamin netanyau, Sharon etc - d isrealites Matthew"
