coolitempa1: It is a shame the level of ignominy to which these iPod youth miscreants would descend to ....there is nothing to show in that picture or in any statement that the Father or any supports their stupidity or is involved in a March for Biafra other than the opportunistic idiot behind him holding up a tattered flag of a dead Biafra. I can see some people are already scared of what will happen next now that God is sending his servants to support Biafra. The zoo is in trouble. |

magicminister: A good actress/actor should have the ability to appeal to numerous audience.
Even Hollywood actors learn new languages when they want to act as a non-English speaker. They learn new accent and sometimes even add or reduce some weight! The Yoruba actors/actresses need to STOP WHINING about discrimination. They are the ones discriminating themselves by not making effort to have cross-over appeal.
Omotola is one of the biggest actress in Nigeria. She has numerous yoruba movies to her name and numerous English movies to her name and she has even acted as an igbo girl.
you just said my mind, why won't they discriminate against yorubas when you act in a dialet only yorubas understand, nollywood is an international organisation so if you want to be recognised, speak the language people will understand. 80% of the world speak english. A word is enough for the wise. |

Nasman: Nice one my emir. Congratulations on your wedding. As for the wailers no amount of your wailing can make us change our noble cultural values. It better to get marry at 16yrs than to be a prostitute at the same age. Our noble cultural value is not influence by European like yours. Whether you like or not, we will continue upholding our culture anywhere anytime. Don't you think your hatred towards (Fulani/Hausa/Northerners/Muslim) has any influence on our day-to-day activities? We don't give a damn about what you think of us. And it will remain so till the end of time. We have more than centuries long of tradition. Unlike most of u, that your culture started with the coming of Europeans to our shores. The Hypocrisy of southern Nigerians is just funny. Your pathetic #ChildnotBride hasn't yield any positive result, if I were u. I will stop. It like asking the Vatican to be adopt atheism as their official religion. Stop trying to change what can't be change. Another super story, abeg i don tire to read crooked english. |

Zi: Sweep and get money? Ok o.
Isn't it better to use this 1m + 750k + 500k ie 2.25m to empower and equip the state Environmental Sanitation Board, and if they don't have one, set one up.
I don't understand the government and this weekly / monthly sanitation. See, in a civil society, everyone has a job, I mean, a part we play in the nation building. I can't be an Engineer or a teacher and also be a Sanitationist! I have a job, I pay my tax. Its also someone's job to sweep and keep streets clean. Then I contribute my own part by teaching the kids at school. This is how it should be.
Cleaning should be part of government's job, so is teaching and driving mass transits (bus), and selling tickets and supervisory roles and all others. None is more important than the other. None supercedes the other. It will provide long term employement and ripple economic effect. They should be civil servants and get their pay too. We don't have to close down economic activities periodically just to clean.
Well, I'm writing because someone reading here today will be at the helm of affairs of our nation tomorrow. Pls when you get there, get it right!
Ka Chineke mezie okwu ya. Gbam! U jst hit d nail on d head, there are people trained to do a particular job, believe me so many people will get infected & end up at d hospital after dis excercise bc they are not trained on d preventive measures b4 embarking on such deal. Aboki wu Aboki nwanne.... |
