The word "Muhammad" in the Bible (in Original Hebrew)
The name "Muhammad" is written in the Bible in the original Hebrew language.

In the 5th chapter of the Shir haShirim ( שיר השירים ), which is one of the five megilot or Sacred Scrolls that are part of the Hebrew Bible or for short the "Song of Solomon" (also called "Song of Songs"wink. That chapter is giving a prophecy about an individual to come, a mystery man.

Song of Songs 5:15 compares this prophetic mystery man to the land of "Lebanon" which is the land of the Arabs. This implies that the mystery man would be an Arab.

Verse 15 of the NIV Bible says: “His appearance is like Lebanon", so this is an Arabic gentleman (or Arab looking).

Verse 11 says: "his head is as the most fine gold, his locks are
wavy, and black as a raven". Verse 10 describes this man as being "radiant and ruddy" which means he was slightly light-skinned with a rosy color. This physical description matches exactly with the authentic Islamic sources.
Sahih Al Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 56, Number 747, says Muhammad was slightly light skinned, with a rosy color (and has the same hair as is mentioned in verse 11)

Song of Songs 5:10 says: "My beloved is white and ruddy, pre-eminent above ten thousand." This is a prophecy of Prophet Muhammad as he conquered Mecca. It is a well known historically documented fact that in the year 630 CE Muhammad entered Mecca as the leader of an army of "ten thousand men".

In reading the English translation of Song of Songs 5:16 it finishes the description by saying: "He is altogether lovely" but what most people don't know is that the name of that man was given in the original megilot. Here is the name written in ancient Hebrew as it appears in verse sixteen: מחמד . It is read as : "Mahammad".

Hebrew: חִכּוֹ, מַמְתַקִּים, וְכֻלּוֹ, מַחֲמַדִּים; זֶה דוֹדִי וְזֶה רֵעִי, בְּנוֹת יְרוּשָׁלִָם.

English: His mouth is most sweet; yea, he is ALTOGETHER LOVELY. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.

There is a plural used together with this Hebrew word, with
the plural it’s pronounced “Mahamadd-im”. The ending letters 'im' is a plural of respect, majesty and grandeur for God’s prophet, just as in the word Eloh-im.

According to Ben Yehuda's Hebrew-English Dictionary, it is correctly pronounced as "Mahammad".

If you don't believe me, go to these translator links, paste the name מחמד and then translate it into English. You will see that מחמד is translated as "Muhammad".

The followers knoweth not what is comming before them till they get to their own death bed

Another truth is the fact that I never seen nor heard any muslim at peace with words of blessing coming out of their mouth before death even mahamolu was cursing on his death bed

I ques that's when they see the darkness the most
[]I wellcome all of u to this page with the greetings of the prophets Assalamu Alaikum (may peace and blessing of Allah (God) be upon all of u.
Before I start talking i will like u to quess in world history who said the following

"for those my enemies who do not want me to rule over them bring them here and kill them". It will take a genius for one to get the ans especially among the christian faith. If I list three names prophet Moses(as), Carl Max or Muhammad(saw). It will suprise u to tell u that Jesus christ utter those words because u hardly read your bible with free mind and reasoning,. Jesus said it in the new testament, the gospel according to matthew. Do u remember when he was riding on a donkey to Jerusalem.

Going into the topic crucifixion is to hang a man to death on a cross. But what if u hang a man on the cross and he didn't die? I want u to know that it is the Romans that started the believe in a son of their god that die for their sins, they worship the sun god. And its important for us to know that before Jesus christ their use to be salvation through the prophets of God of that time e.g at the time of Moses his people wanted to worship the golden calf, he has to call them to the right way in other words he was the way the truth and the live no one could reach God but through him, at the time of David he was the way, at the time of Abraham he was the way now this is the time of Mohammad as said by Jesus in the gospel of John 16:12-14
Jesus told his diciples that he will be betrayed but never did he say he will be kill, so when the Jews were looking for him to kill, he went to the garden with his diciples and told them wait at the gate, he went further and fall on his face and prayed to God to take away the cup from him, meaning to save him from death and an angel came to asure him that god has answer his prayers. Yes in Hebrew chapter 7 God answered his prayers. Why do we take all that is said without pondering?

Be ready to take the straight point.
In the book of matthew 12:38-40 Jesus prophesied that he will not be killed. When the Jews came to ask for a sign, they wanted him to walk on water, raise the dead,or perform a miracle but he put all his eggs in one basket. He said I will only give u a miracle like that of Jonah as Jonah was alive for three days and three nights so shall me be. Today over 2 billion christians of the world said that Jesus was dead for three days and even if it is a trillion population of christian said he was dead, the words of Jesus is more superior and more to believe than the billions of christians.
The Quran said that "they did not kill him nor did they crucify him, but it was made to appear to them so, but those who dispute about the matter are ful of doubts, for certainly they killed him not."

For salvation follow the master Jesus not Paul, Jesus said in matt. 5:17-20 going to heaven is only possible when u keep the laws and the commandements, when u keep the laws and the commandements u can't help but to be a muslim. Thank you

truthman2012:
[Quran 33:43] ''He it is Who sends blessings on you, as do His angels, that He may bring you out from the depths of Darkness into Light: and He is Full of Mercy to the believers''

As this is not the beginning of quranic revelations, it shows that up till that time allahh was still praying for Muhammad's salvation. How does God 'PRAY' for man's salvation? Was it not in his power to decide what to do?

Quran 33:56] Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him, and salute him with all respect.

Why should allahh ask the muslims to still pray for Muhammad after he had prayed for him by himself? Was his (allah) own prayer insufficient?

As a result of the above quranic instructions, the concluding part of muslims' routine prayers is: “O god! Have
mercy on Muhammad and on his
descendants, as you had mercy on
Abraham and on his descendants.”

If Muhammad were at peace in
paradise, he would not need the
prayers of anyone?

Omar, one of the early guided
caliphs, said on his deathbed: “. . .
Had I the whole East and West,
gladly would I give up all to be
delivered from this AWFUL TERROR THAT IS HANGING OVER ME” (Cited in
Jens Christensen, The Practical
Approach to Muslims, London:
North Africa Mission, 1977, p.
380).

Abu Bakr went through the
same anguish on his deathbed.
Amr bin al-As wept in his
deathbed worrying about his
eternal destiny.

It is believed when people want to give up the ghost, they have an idea of where they are heading to eternally. I was a witness to a magistrate court judge who had just accepted Jesus who was sick. I went to visit him in the hospital in the company of a senior pastor. We greeted him and stood looking at him on bed. Not quite 15 minutes we got there that the man said in Yoruba ''Jesu o se o'' (thank you Jesus), he took his last breath and gave up the ghost.

Those who lament at death see something horrible and it is an evidence of not making it to heaven. Now, the question is: if those top islamic clerics above stated lamented on their deathbed, what shall be the fate of the lower ones?

First of all prove to us that mohamed is a genuine prophet. Jesus in the bible told us that we can tell a genuine prophet by the fruits he exhibits and going by the fruits of armed robbery, rape, murder, paedophilia, adultery, incest and deceit mohamed portrayed the best I can conclude is that he was satan's prophet if indeed he was a prophet at all.

Christianity EtcWhat The Bible Says About Mohammad (SAW) - Ahmed Deedat by mahdino(op): 10:31pm On Oct 25, 2015
WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT MOHAMMAD
“I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and I will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.” (Deut 18:18)
What is Prophecy?
[/font]
The Dominee replies: “You see, prophecies are word pictures of something that is going to happen in the future. When that thing actually comes to pass, we see vividly in these prophecies the fulfillment of what had been predicted in the past.” I said: “What you actually do is that you deduce, you reason, you put two and two together.” He said: “Yes.” I said: “If this is what you have to do with a ‘thousand’ prophecies to justify your claim with regards to the genuineness of Jesus, why should we not adopt the very same system for Muhammad?” The Dominee agreed that it was a fair proposition, a reasonable way of dealing with the problem.
I asked him to open up Deuteronomy, chapter 18, verse 18, which he did. I read from memory the verse in Afrikaans, because this was my purpose in having a little practice with the language of the ruling race in South Africa.
“N Profeet sal ek vir hulle verwek uit die midde van hulle broers, soos jy is, en ek sal my woorde in sy mond le, en hy sy sal aan hulle se alle wat ekhom beveel.” (Deut 18:18)
The English translation reads as follows:
“I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and I will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.” (Deut 18:18)
Prophet Like Moses

Having recited the verse in Afrikaans, I apologized for my uncertain pronunciation; the Dominee assured me that I was doing fine. I inquired: “To whom does this prophecy refer?” Without the slightest hesitation he answered: “Jesus!” I asked: “Why Jesus? his name is not mentioned here” The Dominee replied: “Since prophecies are word pictures of something that is going to happen in the future, we find that the wordings of this verse adequately describe him. You see, the most important words of this prophecy are ‘soos jy is’, ‘like unto thee’, or ‘like you’ – like Moses; and Jesus is like Moses.”
I asked the Dominee: “In which way is Jesus like Moses?” The answer was: “In the first place Moses was a Jew and Jesus was also a Jew; secondly, Moses was a Prophet and Jesus was also a Prophet – therefor Jesus is like Moses and that is exactly what God had foretold Moses – ‘soos jy is’.”
“Can you think of any other similarities between Moses and Jesus?” I asked. The Dominee said that he could not think of any. I replied: “If these are the only two criteria for discovering a candidate for this prophecy of Deuteronomy 18:18, then in that case the criteria could fit any one of the following Biblical personages after Moses:- Solomon, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Malachi, John the Baptist etc., because they were also all Jews as well as Prophets. Why should we not apply this prophecy to any one of these prophets, and why only to Jesus?” The Dominee had no reply. I continued: “You see, my conclusions are that Jesus is most unlike Moses, and if I am wrong I would like you to correct me.”
Three Unlike
So staying, I reasoned with him: “In the first place Jesus is not like Moses, because, according to you, Jesus is God, but Moses is not God, is this true?” He said: “Yes.” I said: “Therefore Jesus is not like Moses!”. “Secondly, according to you, Jesus died for the sins of the world, but Moses did not have to die for the sins of the world. Is this true?” He again said: “Yes.” I said: “Therefore Jesus is not like Moses!”. “Thirdly, according to you, Jesus went to Hell for three days, but Moses did not have to go there. Is this true?” He answered meekly: “Y-e-s!” I concluded: “Therefore Jesus is not like Moses!”. “But Dominee,..” I continued: “..these are not hard, solid facts, they are mere matters of belief over which the little ones can stumble and fall. Let us discuss something very simple, very easy that if the little ones are called in to hear the discussion, would have no difficulty following it, shall we?” The Dominee was quiet happy at the suggestion.
Father and Mother
“Moses had a father and a mother. Muhammad also had a father and a mother. But Jesus had only a mother, and no human father. Is this true?” He said: “Yes.” I said: “Daarom is Jesus nie soos Moses nie, maar Muhammad is soos Moses!” Meaning: “Therefore Jesus is not like Moses, but Muhammad is like Moses!” (By now the reader will realize that I was using the Afrikaans language only for practice purposes. I shall discontinue its use in this narration).
Miraculous Birth
“Moses and Muhammad were born in the normal, natural course, i.e. the physical association of man and woman; but Jesus was created by a special miracle. You will recall that we are told in the Gospel of St. Matthew 1:18 “..before they came together, (Joseph the Carpenter and Mary) she was found with child by the Holy Ghost.” And St. Luke tells us that when the good news of the birth of a holy son was announced to her, Mary reasoned: “How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, the Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the highest shall overshadow thee”(Luke 1:35).
The Holy Quran confirms the miraculous birth of Jesus, in nobler and sublimer terms. In answer to her logical question:
‘O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man hath touched me?’ The angel says in reply: ‘Even so, Allah createth what He willeth: when He hath decreed a plan, He but saith to it ‘Be’, and it is’ (the Holy Quran, 3:47).
It is not necessary for God to plant a seed in man or animal. He merely wills it and it comes into being. This is the Muslim conception of the of birth of Jesus. (When I compared the Quran and the Biblical versions of the birth of Jesus to the head of the Bible Society in our largest city, and when I inquired: “Which version would you prefer to give your daughter, the Quranic version or the Biblical version?” The man bowed his head and answered: “The Quranic.”)(see Christ in Islam for the author).
In short, I said to the Dominee: “Is it true that Jesus was born miraculously as against the natural birth of Moses and Muhammad?” He replied proudly: “Yes!” I said: “Therefore Jesus is not like Moses, but Muhammad is like Moses. And God says to Moses in the Book of Deuteronomy 18:18 ‘Like unto thee’, ‘Like You’, like Moses and Muhammad is like Moses.”
Marriage Ties
“Moses and Muhammad married and had children, but Jesus remained a bachelor all his life. Is this true?” The Dominee said: “Yes.” I said: “Therefore Jesus is not like Moses, but Muhammad is like Moses.”
Jesus Rejected by his People
“Moses and Muhammad were accepted as prophets by their people in their very lifetime. No doubt the Jews gave endless trouble to Moses and they murmured in the wilderness, but as a nation, they acknowledged that Moses was a Messenger of God sent to them. The Arabs too made Muhammad’s life impossible. He suffered very badly at their hands. After 13 years of preaching in Mecca, he had to emigrate from the city of his birth. But before his demise, the Arab nation as a whole accepted him as the Messenger of Allah. But according to the Bible, “He (Jesus) Came unto his own, but his own revived him not”(John 1:11). And even today, after two thousand years, his people, the Jews, as a whole, have rejected him. Is this true?” The Dominee said: “Yes.” I said: “Therefore Jesus is not like Moses, but Muhammad is like Moses.”
“Other Worldly” Kingdom[/font]
“Moses and Muhammad were prophets as well as kings. A prophet means a man who receives Divine Revelation for the Guidance of man and this Guidance he conveys to God’s creatures as received without any addition or deletion. A king is a person who has the power of life and death over his people. It is immaterial whether the person wears a crown or not, or whether he was ever addressed as king or monarch: if the man has the prerogative of inflicting capital punishment, he is a king. Moses possessed such a power. Do you remember the Israelite who was found picking up firewood on Sabbath Day, and Moses had him stoned to death? (Numbers 15:13). There are other crimes also mentioned in the Bible for which capital punishment was inflicted on the Jews at the behest of Moses. Muhammad too, had the power of life and death over his people. There are instances in the Bible of persons who were given gift of prophecy only, but they were not in a position to implement their directives. Some of these holy men of God who were helpless in the face of stubborn rejection of their message, were the prophets Lot, Jonah, Daniel, Ezra, and John the Baptist. They could only deliver the message, but could not enforce the Law. Prophet Jesus, peace be upon him, also belonged to this category.
The Christian Gospel clearly confirms this. When Jesus was dragged before the Roman Governor, Pontius Pilate, charged for sedition, Jesus made a convincing point in his defense to refute the false charge: Jesus answered: “My Kingdom is not of this world. If my Kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now is my Kingdom not from hence”(John 18:36).
This convinced Pilate (a pagan) that though Jesus might not be in full possession of his mental faculty, he did not strike him as being a danger to his rule. Jesus claimed a spiritual Kingdom only; in other words he only claimed to be a prophet. Is this true?” The Dominee answered: “Yes.” I said: “Therefore Jesus is not like Moses but Muhammad is like Moses.”
No New Laws

“Moses and Muhammad brought new laws and new regulations for their people. Moses not only gave the Ten Commandments to the Israelites, but a very comprehensive ceremonial law for the guidance of his people. Muhammad comes to a people steeped in ignorance. They married their step-mothers and buried their daughters alive; drunkenness, idolatry, and gambling were the order of the day. There was hardly anything to distinguish between the ‘man’ and the ‘animal’ of the time. From this abject ignorance, Muhammad elevated the Arabs, in the words of Thomas Carlysle, ‘Into torch-bearers of light and learning. To the Arab nation it was as a birth from darkness into light. Arabia first became alive by means of it. A poor shepherd people, roaming unnoticed in its deserts since the creation of the world. See, the unnoticed becomes world notable, the small has grown world-great. Within one century afterwards Arabia was at Granada on one hand and at Delhi on the other. Glancing in valor and splendor, and the light of Genius, Arabia shines over section of the world..’. The fact is that Muhammad gave his people a Law and Order they never had before. As regards Jesus, when the Jews felt suspicious of him that he might be an impostor with designs to pervert their teachings. Jesus took pains to assure them that he had not come with a new religion – no new laws and no new regulations. I quote his own words: “Think not that I am come to destroy the law of the Prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot of one title shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.'(Mathew 5:17-18).
In other words he had not come with any new laws or regulation he came only to fulfill the old law. This what he gave the Jews to understand unless he was speaking with the tongue in his cheek trying to bluff the Jews into accepting him as a man of God and by subterfuge trying to ram a new religion down their throats. No! This Messenger of God would never resort to such foul means to subvert the Religion of God. He himself fulfilled the laws. He observed the commandments of Moses, and he respected the Sabbath. At no time did a single Jew point a finger at him to say: ‘”Why don’t you fast’ or ‘why don’t you wash your hands before you break bread’, which charges they always levied against his disciples, but never against Jesus. This is because as a good Jew he honored the laws of the prophets who preceded him. In short, he had created no new religion and had brought no new law like Moses and Muhammad.”
“Isn’t this true?” I asked the Dominee, and he answered: “Yes.” I said: “Therefore, Jesus is not like Moses but Muhammad is like Moses.”
How they Departed
“Both Moses and Muhammad died natural deaths, but according to Christianity, Jesus was killed on the cross. Is this true?” The Dominee said: “Yes.” I averred: “Therefore Jesus is not like Moses but Muhammad is like Moses.”
Heavenly Abode
“Moses and Muhammad both lie buried in earth, but according to you, Jesus is in heaven. Is this true? The Dominee agreed. I said: “Therefore Jesus is not like Moses but Muhammad is like Moses.”
Ishmael the First Born
Since the Dominee was helplessly agreeing with every point, I said: “Dominee, so far what I have done is to prove only one point out of the whole prophecy – that is proving the phrase ‘Like unto thee’ – ‘Like You’, like Moses’. The Prophecy is much more than this single phrase which reads as follows:
‘I will raise them up a prophet from among their bretheren like unto thee..’
The emphasis is on the words “From among their brethren.” Moses and his people, the Jews, are here addressed as a racial entity, as a whole, and as such their brethren would undoubtedly be the Arabs.
Abraham had two wives, Sarah and Hagar. Hagar bore Abraham a son, his first born, ‘..and Abraham called his son’s name, which Hagar bare Ishmael.’ (Genesis 16:15). ‘And Abraham took Ishmael his son..’ (Genesis 17:23). ‘And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.’ (Genesis 17:25).
Up to the age of thirteen Ishmael was the only son of Abraham, then God grants him another son through Sarah, named Isaac, who was very much the junior to his brother Ishmael.
Arabs and Jews
If Ishmael and Isaac are the sons of the same father Abraham, then they are brothers. And so the children of the one are the bretheren of the children of the other. The children of Isaac are the Jews and the children of Ishmael are the Arabs – so they are bretheren to one another. The Bible affirms: ‘And he (Ishmael) shall dwell in the presence of all his bretheren.’ (Genesis 16:12). ‘And he (Ishmael) died in the presence of all his bretheren.” (Genesis 25:18). The children of Isaac are the brethren of the Ishmaelites. In like manner Muhammad is from among the brethren of the Israelites because he was a descendant of Ishmael the son of Abraham. This exactly as the prophecy has it – “From among their bretheren” (Deut.18:18).
There the prophecy distinctly mentions that the coming prophet who would be like Moses, must arise not from the Children of Israel nor from among themselves, but from among their brethren. Muhammad therefore was among their bretheren!
Words in the Mouth
The prophecy proceeds further: ‘..And I will put my words into his mouth..’ What does it mean when it is said ‘I will put my words in your mouth’? You see, when I asked you (the Dominee) to open Deuteronomy chapter 18, verse 18, at the beginning, and if I had asked you to read, and if you had read, would I be putting my words into your mouth? The Dominee answered: “No.” But, I continued: “If I were to teach you a language like Arabic, about which you have no knowledge, and if I asked you to read or repeat after me what I utter i.e. “Say: ‘He is Allah the One and Only; Allah, the eternal absolute; He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; and there is none like unto Him.’ (the Holy Quran 112:1-4) (I read them in Arabic). Would I not be putting these unheard words of a foreign tongue which you utter, into your mouth?” The Dominee agreed that it was indeed so. “In an identical manner”, I said: “The words of the Holy Quran, the Revelation vouchsafed by the Almighty God to Muhammad, were revealed.
History tells us that when Muhammad was forty years of age he was in a cave some three miles north of the City of Mecca. In the cave the Archangel Gabriel commands him in his mother tongue: ‘Eqra!’, which means ‘Read!’, or ‘Recite!’ Muhammad was terrified, and in his bewilderment replied that he was not learned!. The angel commands him a second time with the same result. For the third time the angel continues. Now Muhammad, grasps that what was required of him was to repeat! to rehearse! And he repeats the words as they were put into his mouth:
‘Read! In the Name of the Lord and Charisher, Who Created. Created man from a (mere) clot of congealed blood: Read! and thy Lord is the Most Bountiful, He Who taught (the use of) the pen, taught man that which he new not”. (the Holy Quran 96:1-5).
These are the first five verses which were revealed to Muhammad, which now occupy the beginning of the 96th chapter of the Holy Quran.
The Faithful Witness
When the angel departed, Muhammad rushed to his home. Terrified and sweating all over he asked his wife Khadija to ‘cover-him up!’ He lay down, and she watched by him. When he had regained his composure, he explained to her what he had seen and heard. She assured him of her faith in him and that Allah would not allow any terrible thing to happen to him. Are these the confessions of an impostor? Would impostors confess that when an angel of the Lord confronts them with a Message from on High, they get fear-stricken, terrified, and sweating all over, run home to their wives? Any critic can see that his reactions and confessions are that of an honest, sincere man.
During the next twenty three years of his life, words were ‘put into his mouth’, and he uttered them. They made an indelible impression on his heart and mind; and as the volume of the Sacred Scripture, the Holy Quran, grew, they were recorded on palm-leaf libre, on skins; and in the hearts of his devoted disciples. Before his demise these words were arranged according to his instructions in the order in which we find them today in the Holy Quran.
The words (revelation) were actually put into his mouth, exactly as foretold in the prophecy under discussion: “And I will put my words in his mouth.” (Deut 18:18).
Unlettered Prophet
Muhammad’s experience in the Cave of Hira, and his response to that first Revelation is the exact fulfillment of another Biblical Prophecy. In the Book of Isaiah, chapter 29, verse 12, we read: ‘And the Book is delivered to him that is not learned’ (Isaiah 29:12). ‘The Unlettered prophet’ (the Holy Quran 7:158). And the Biblical verse continues: ‘Saying, read this, I pray thee:’ ‘And he saith, I am not learned.’. ‘I am not learned.’ is the exact translation of the Arabic words which Muhammad uttered twice to the Holy Spirit, the Archangel Gabriel, when he was commanded: ‘Read!’).

This is another case muslims are unable to defend their prophet. Now that you have seen that Muhammad could not be a prophet of the true God based on the peculiarities he had which are inconsistent with other prophets, your persistence on islam is no doubt a risk of eternal hell fire.

You have been WARNED!!!
“Other Worldly” Kingdom
“Moses and Muhammad were prophets as well as kings. A prophet means a man who receives Divine Revelation for the Guidance of man and this Guidance he conveys to God’s creatures as received without any addition or deletion. A king is a person who has the power of life and death over his people.

‘I am not learned.’ is the exact translation of the Arabic words which Muhammad uttered twice to the Holy Spirit, the Archangel Gabriel, when he was commanded: ‘Read!’).

you can give a billion references, but that of Jesus alone carry's more weight. H e said in Matthew 12:38-40 that he is not going to be crucified.

If Jesus was supposedly never crucified, or
never died, or was never buried, we have to
ask:
WHO WAS THE CRUCIFIED ONE?
The Crucifixion and the "chain-of-custody"
principle well help us identify.

I received a question about the Crucifixion
of Jesus, asking to prove:
(1) that anyone saw Jesus dead, and

(2) that anyone removed the dead body of Jesus
from the cross, and

(3) that anyone put His dead body in a tomb.
These three questions involve the "chain-of-
custody" of Jesus and his body. They seem
to be best broken down into the following five
parts:

(A) Proof of Jesus being arrested, tortured, and
hung on cross.

(B) Proof of Jesus remaining on the cross till
death.

(C) Proof of the death of Jesus on the cross.

(D) Proof of the removal of the same dead body
from the cross.

(E) Proof of the placement of that same dead
body in a tomb.
This study is from the documentation
provided in the Bible by Matthew Levi, the
son of Alphaeus, a servant of God and a
companion and disciple of Jesus .

The Roman government , the Jewish rulers
and the disciples of Jesus were confirming
witnesses of these events. If the Jewish
people were deceived into thinking that they
had killed Jesus, that would have still made
it necessary also to deceive the Roman
government and the very followers of Jesus;
even his mother and closest friends and
disciples. All of these would have had to
believe a complete falsehood.

(A) Proof of Jesus being arrested,
tortured, and hung on the cross
The "chain-of-custody" begins with the
identification of Jesus by all twelve disciples
(apostles) during the eating of the Last
Supper at the Feast of Unleavened Bread on
the night before the start of the full Passover
commemoration. Afterwards, Judas left them
(Mt 26:17-20).

Then the group proceeded under a full moon
with plenty of moonlight (the 14th day of the
lunar month of Nisan) (Exodus 12:18) from
the place of the Last Supper going east
across the Brook Kidron and to the Garden of
Gethsemane at the Mount of Olives (Mt
26:30 & 36).

Judas Iscariot came and identified Jesus for
the soldiers. Jesus also identified himself.
Jesus healed the ear of the servant of the
High Priest (Mt 26:47-56). Later Judas
confirmed that he had betrayed an innocent
man (Mt 27:3-cool. Also, the temple chief
priests confirmed that the money given by
them to Judas by them was "blood
money" (Mt 27:6).
Jesus went in the custody of the temple
soldiers , to the house of Caiaphas. Many
leaders were present including the whole
great Sanhedrin (the 70 ruling men in the
Council). Jesus confirmed that he is the
Messiah and the Son of the God. Because of
this statement of his, they said Jesus had
committed blasphemy and was deserving of
death (Mt 26:57-68).

Jesus was transferred into the Roman
custody of Governor Pontius Pilate in the
morning (Mt 27:1-2).
The wife of Pilate stated that she had a
dream in the previous night hours that Pilate
should have nothing to do with that
"righteous man" (Mt 27:19).

The Roman governor, Pilate, delivered Jesus
into the custody of his own professional
Roman soldiers (Mt 27:26).
The Roman soldiers beat Jesus and put a
crown of thorns on his head. This
distinctively marked his body and the top of
his head (Mt 27:27-30). These wounds,
caused by the Roman soldiers, would help
identify the body of Jesus all the way to the
cross, on the cross, and in post-resurrection
appearances.

Jesus remained in the custody of Roman
soldiers and was taken to the place of
crucifixion (Mt 27:31-33).
Matthew, who was one of the twelve
disciples, records that the Roman soldiers
crucified Jesus, which means putting a live
person on a cross (Mt 27:35).

(B) Proof of Jesus remaining on the cross
till death
Jesus remained on the cross under guard by
the Roman centurion (Mt 27:54) and
soldiers . Some sat down to watch him die
(Mt 27:36-37).
While hanging on the cross he was identified
by:

1. The Roman centurion (officer over about 100
men) (Mt 27:54).

2. The Roman soldiers watching and who knew
the wounds he had previously suffered (Mt
27:35-36).

3. The passersby who had heard him preach
(Mt 27:39-40).

4. The chief priests (Mt 27:41).

5. The scribes (Mt 27:41).

6. The elders (Mt 27:41).

7. The two robbers who were also being
executed (Mt 27:44).

8. The many women who had seen Jesus before
(Mt 27:55-56).

9. John, His disciple (John 19:26)

10. Mary, his mother (John 19:26).

(C) Proof of the death of Jesus on the
cross
Matthew, a disciple, records that Jesus gave
up his spirit, died (Mt 27:50).
The Roman centurion (Mt 27:54) who was in
charge of keeping guard over Jesus, refers to
Jesus' life in the past tense after Jesus had
died (Mt 27:54).
The dead body of Jesus was later ordered by
the Roman governor to be given to Joseph of
Arimathea who wrapped it in a clean linen
cloth and who laid the body of Jesus in his
own tomb (Mt 27:59-60).
The chief priests and Pharisees confirmed to
the Roman governor that Jesus was dead (Mt
27:63-64).
Also the chief priests and Pharisees
confirmed to the Roman governor that Jesus'
body was actually in a grave (Mt 27:64).
Pilate, the Roman governor appointed a guard
for the grave of Jesus’ dead body (Mt
27:65-66).
An angel of the Lord from Heaven confirmed
that Jesus had been crucified, and had been
dead (Mt 28:2-7). The women to whom this
message was given told it to Matthew and
the other disciples (Mt 28:7-10).

(D) Proof of the removal of the same dead
body of Jesus from the cross
The Roman soldiers had custody of the dead
body of Jesus (Mt 27:54).

Notice that not just anyone could remove the
dead body Jesus, the executed prisoner, from
the custody of the Romans. Permission had
to be obtained from the proper authority who
had ordered the execution. In this case, it
was the Roman governor, Pilate (Mt 27:58).
A wealthy Jewish man, Joseph of Arimathea,

who was a disciple and who would recognize
Jesus, asked the Roman governor, Pilate, that
he, Joseph, be allowed to take custody the
dead body of Jesus for the purpose of burial
(Mt 27:57-58).
More than 700 years before
the time of Jesus, the holy Prophet Isaiah,
son of Amoz, wrote about this death and the
burial in the grave of a rich man (Isaiah
53:9).
At the time of Jesus, the holy Prophet
John, the Baptizer, son of the Priest
Zacharias, told that Jesus was the sacrificial
"Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the
world." (John 1:29 and Isaiah 53).

Pilate gave the order that the dead body of
Jesus be given to Joseph (Mt 27:58).
Joseph of Arimathea took away the dead
body of Jesus which had been ordered to be
given to him by the governor, Pilate, and
which was identified to him as such by the
soldiers who guarded the body and also from
his own identification of Jesus, because he
was a disciple of Jesus (Mt 27:57 & 59).
The chief priests, elders and the soldiers
confirmed that the body in the tomb was
that of Jesus. It was the same dead body of
Jesus that the governor, Pilate, had ordered
the soldiers to guard (Mt 28:11-15).

(E) Proof of the placement of that same
dead body of Jesus in a tomb
Pilate gave the order that the body be given
to Joseph (Mt 27:58). There is no evidence
that any other body was given to Joseph.
Joseph took custody of Jesus’ dead body
which had been ordered to be given to him
by the governor Pilate and which was
identified to him as such by the soldiers who
guarded the dead body and which Joseph
must have been able to identify himself,
because he was a disciple of Jesus (Mt
27:59).

Joseph kept custody of the body of Jesus
and wrapped the body of Jesus in a clean
linen cloth for burial (Mt 27:59).
Joseph laid the wrapped dead body of Jesus
in his own new tomb (Mt 27:60).
Mary Magdalene and the other Mary who had
been at the crucifixion came to that very
grave (Mt 27:56 and 28:1).

An angel of the Lord from Heaven confirmed
that Jesus had been dead and buried at that
very grave. The angel said, "Do not be afraid;
for I know that you are looking for Jesus who
has been crucified. He is not here, for He has
risen, just as He said. Come, see the place
where He was laying. And go quickly and tell
His disciples that He has risen from the dead
..." (Mt 28:5-7)

The body of Jesus was wounded and marked
by the beating and the crown of thorns before
the crucifixion and it was further marked by
the wounds in the hands, the feet and the
side while on the cross. Identifiable marks in
his hands and side, made by the Roman
soldiers, were still visible on Jesus’ body
after his resurrection.
He appeared to the apostles "... to whom He
also presented Himself alive, after His
suffering, by many convincing proofs, being
seen by them during forty days, and speaking
of the things concerning the Kingdom of
God." (Acts 1:3) The details of the miracles,
teachings and prophecies made by Jesus are
recorded in the Injil, the first four historical
Gospels ("Good News" section) of the New
Testament of the Holy Bible which are
advisable to be diligently studied for great
spiritual benefit.

Thus, it becomes clear that the "chain-of-
custody" principle affirms the historical fact
of Jesus’ crucifixion. Of course, what is most
important in all of this is why it was
necessary that Jesus the Messiah be
crucified. A study of the Scriptures of the
Prophets (the Bible) clearly reveals that the
Messiah’s death and resurrection was, from
the beginning, the center-piece of God’s plan
of salvation. Listen to what Jesus told His
disciples on the day He arose from the grave
...
"Then [Jesus] said to them, ‘These are the
words which I spoke to you while I was still
with you, that all things must be fulfilled
which were written in the Law of Moses and
the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.’
And He opened their understanding, that they
might comprehend the Scriptures. Then He
said to them, ‘Thus it is written, and thus it
was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to
rise from the dead the third day, and that
repentance and remission of sins should be
preached in His name to all nations,
beginning at Jerusalem. And you are
witnesses of these things!’" (Luke 24:44-48)
Jesus Christ was neither killed nor was he crucified, as alleged by the Christians and the Jews, but that he was alive! because:

1. Jesus was reluctant to die! He had worked out a strategy of defence to repel the Jews. Because he wanted to remain alive!

2. He beseeched God for help. With strong crying and tears for God Almighty to keep him alive!

3. God ‘heard’ his prayers which means that God accepted his prayers to keep him alive!

4. An angel of god came to strengthen him: In the hope and belief that God will save him alive!

5. Pilate finds Jesus not guilty! Good reason to keep Jesus alive!

6. Pilates wife shown a dream in which she was told that - ‘No harm should come to this just man.’ In other words that he should be saved alive!

7. Supposed to be on the cross for only three hours. According to the system in vogue, no man could die by crucifixion in so short a time which means that even if he was fastened to the cross - he was alive!

8. The other two - his ‘crossmates’ on their respective crosses were alive. So Jesus too, for the same period of time must be alive!

9. Encyclopedia biblica under article ‘cross’ - column 960 says: ‘When the spear was thrust - Jesus was alive!

10. ‘Forthwith’ came there out blood and water: ‘Forthwith’ means straightaway, immediately which was a sure sign that Jesus was alive!

11. Legs not broken - as a fulfilment of prophecy. ‘Legs’ can be of any use only if Jesus was alive!

12.Thunderstorm, earthquake, and darkening of the sun all within 3 hours! To disperse the sadistic mob to enable his ‘secret disciples’ to help, keep him alive!

13. Jews doubted his death: They suspected that he had escaped death on the cross - that he was alive!

14. Pilate ‘marvels’ to hear that Jesus was dead. He knew from experience that no man can die so soon by crucifixion. He suspected that Jesus was alive!

15. Big roomy chamber: Close at hand, and big and airy for willing hands to come to the rescue. Providence was out to keep Jesus alive!

16. Stone and ‘winding sheets’ had to be removed: Only necessary if Jesus was alive!

17. Report on winding sheets. German Scientists who carried out experiments on the ‘Shroud of Turin’ said that the heart of Jesus had not stopped functioning - that he was alive!

18. Ever in disguise! Disguise not necessary if Jesus was ‘resurrected’. Only necessary if he was alive!

19. Forbade Mary Magdalene to touch him ‘Touch me not’ for this reason that it would hurt; because he was alive!

20. ‘Not yet ascended unto my father’ In the language of the Jews, in the idiom of the Jews, he was saying, ‘I am not dead yet’, in other words, ‘I am alive!’

21. Mary Magdalene not afraid on recognising Jesus. Because she had seen signs of life before. She was looking for a Jesus who was alive!

22. Disciples petrified on seeing Jesus in the upper-room. All their knowledge about the ‘crucifixion’ was from hearsay, therefore, they could not believe that Jesus was alive!

23. Ate food again and again in his post ‘crucifixion’ appearances. Food only necessary if he was alive!

24. Never showed himself to his enemies. Because he had escaped death by the ‘skin of his teeth’. He was alive!

25. Took only short trips. Because he was not resurrected, not spiritualised, but alive!

26. Testimony of men around the tomb “Why seek ye the living among the dead?” (Luke 24:4-5) That he is not dead, but alive!

27. Testimony of angels “angels who had said that he was alive!” (Luke 24:23) Did not say, ‘resurrected’ but the actual word uttered by the angels was ‘Alive!’

28. Mary Magdalene testifies “they heard that he was alive, and had been seen by her, they believed not” (Mark 16-11).

Mary did not vouch for a spook, or ghost or spirit of Jesus but a Live Jesus. What they could not believe was that the Master was alive!

29. Dr. primrose testifies: That the ‘water and the blood’, when Jesus was lanced on the side, was on account of an upset in the nervous vessels because of the scourging by staves. Which was a sure sign that Jesus was alive!

The 30th the last but not the least. You see we can keep arguing from years, so i advise we should leave all what everybody said or quote and let us stick to what the master said (Jesus himself)

In the book of John 38 Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee. 39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: 40 for as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

He himself has said that the way Jonah has survived he not will not be killed by anything or anyone. It is either all of you have been mislead of he lied and we in the house of Islam believe that a prophet of God like Jesus has no reason to lie and the words of Jesus himself is more authoritative than the billions of Christian, so we stay on his side that he was not dead like Jonnah was dead for three days and three nights.

Now thats funny, tho unchristian, but funny all the same!
How can Christianity be founded on a lose foundation? = There is nothing like crucifixion

[]I wellcome all of u to this page with the greetings of the prophets Assalamu Alaikum (may peace and blessing of Allah (God) be upon all of u.
Before I start talking on the topic i will like u to quess in world history who said the following

Thank you

My heavenly father Jehova God has no hand in the misfortune or evils of this world He did not strike anybody anywhere biko!
What do you know about the Bible?

The true gospel is one and that is the one Jesus preached bUt we can't find it now what we are using now is historical records which is according to matt. Mk. Luke and John those who compiled the bible are not sure cos they did not receive it direct or has seen their seal, signature or full names, that is why the gospels are written as according to so and so in inverted commas. In these historic books we can see that Jesus went places and preached the gospels and we know that he was given a book from God which he uses to preach, but for sure we know he was not holding Matthew Mark, Luke and John because they were written 40 yrs after he has left the earth. So that he preached is the Gospel.
In these historic records there are things we can count on and that we can't count on, e.g in Mark where he said a true believer can drink poison and speak languages, we can't acertain that. Then we see that really Jesus christ thus said in John 16, that the spirit of truth will come and guide us to all truth which is Mohammad and the Quran which has guidiance to all truth.

Victims or Terrorists

Here are some of the Muslim victims of genocide throughout history

1. All 70,000 inhabitants of Jerusalem, mostly Muslims, were massacred by the European Crusaders on July 15, 1099, "the blood was ankle-deep".

2. After the massacre of Antioch by the European Crusaders in June 1098 "no Muslims was alive". Massacres of Muslims happen also in Asklan (1099), Aka (1104), Antioch (1098), Beruit (1110) and Tropolie (1102).

3. During the Inquisition, in Spain and Portugal the choice for Muslims were to "leave, convert or be burnt at the stake". The decree was only suppressed on July 15, 1834 after all Muslims were killed or left. Massacres of Muslims happened in Toledo (1085), Lisbon (1147), Cordoba (1236), Seville (1248), Maria (1266) and Granada (1492), "Promises of religious toleration were not kept".

4. The Mongols slaughtered millions of Muslims (1219-1260) in India, Persia, Iraq and central Asia including the Abbasia Caliph and his officials. The sack of Baghdad (Feb. 13, 1258) and the massacred of its population lasted more than 17 days and an estimated two million Muslims were massacred in Baghdad alone.

5. In Bosnia, Kosovo and Chechnya (1992-present) over than 200,000 Muslims were massacred and over 1.5 million Muslims were wounded, become homeless or exiled. Over 50,000 Muslim women and girls were raped.

6. Some 15 million Africans were taken as slaves to the Americans. More than half were Muslims. More than 3 million perished at sea, more than half were Muslims.

7. Following Deir Yassin massacre, Palestine, April 9-10, 1948, where 250 were killed by armed Jewish settlers, 100's of thousands left their homes in fear. Today there are over 3 million Palestinians refuges and exiles.

8. Israeli Lieutenant Dunhan reported to the command officer, after the October 29, 1956 massacre of Kafr Qasem, where 43 were shot by the army, "minus 15 Arabs ... it is difficult to count ... "

9. During September 15-18, 1982, Israeli-backed Phalagist militia massacred an estimated 50,000 Palestinians in Sabra and Shatila refugee camps in Lebanon.

10. During 1932-1957, at Russia's Arctic Vorkuta concentration camps a total of 6 million died, more than one third were Muslims.

11. On February 25, 1994 a Jewish settler shot dead in cold blood 60 Muslim worshipers at the Ibrahimi mosque, Hebron. Thirty more died when they demonstrated against the massacre.

12. On March 16, 1988, the Kurdish town of Halabja (population 45,000), Iraq, was bombarded with chemical weapons. An estimated 5,000 died and 1,000's seriously wounded.

13. For the last 8 years, the entire population of Iraq has been subjected to brutal sanctions. As a result over 1 million died including 575,000 children.

14. Several thousand Muslims were massacred in Philippines, Kashmir and Thailand (1970's-present).

15. On April 18, 1996, over 100 Muslims were massacred in the UN compound in Qana, Lebanon by the Israeli army.

16. Millions of Muslims civilians were massacred by the imperial powers of Europe in Africa and Asia (1500's to 1900's).

17. Hundreds of thousands of Muslims were massacred during and prior to the partition of India in the 1940's.

18. Thousands of Muslim civilians were victims of Israeli bombings and shelling in South Lebanon for the last 26 years. Hundreds of thousands were displaced.

19.Thousands of Muslims killed by USA in Iraq and Afghanistan.

What a religion! Despite their wars against Muslim civilians, against Hijab, despite their relentless efforts to tarnish its reputation, their intimidations by labeling Muslims as terrorists and fundamentalists, despite all of this, Islam remains the number one religion in terms of being practiced and accepted by the people in the whole world. It is the only religion that addresses your intellect as well as your soul. I wonder what would happen if the enemies of Islam gave it a fair chance to connect to the people without any intervention from the media. It always brings me Joy to be part of this great religion; Islam. All praise be to Allah almighty !!!

" He (Allah almighty) it is Who hath sent His messenger with the guidance and the Religion of Truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religion, however much the unbelievers detest."
(Qur'an 9:33)

"So, be patient. Surely Allah’s promise is true, and let not the disbelievers shake your firmness ."
(Qur'an 30:60)

Peace be on all of you
If anyone of us has a previlage of meeting Moses and u ask him that oh! Great prophet was is the name of ur religion? We know he is not going to say Jew, but will say my religion is the religion of total submission to God's will. One word for submission to God's will in Arabic is Islam

Also if u have a chance of meeting Jesus in his second coming and u ask him oh! Jesus what is the name of ur religion? We know he will not say Christian because a Christian is the of person that say's he is following Christ. So if we ask Christ himself the name of his religion he will say my religion is the religion of total submission to God's will. One word for that is Arabic is Islam

Mecca in the Bible

The holy Ka'bah built by prophet Abraham (pbuh) and his son Ishmeal (pbuh) is in Mecca
The name Mecca (Makkah) is mentioned in the Holy Quran in chapter 48:24. Another name for Mekka is Bakka, depending on the dialect of the tribe: this is also mentioed once in Surah 3:96 "Verily, the first house (of worship) appointed for mankind was that in Bakka (Mecca), full of blessing, and guidance for all people."
Amazingly enough, this word Bakka is mentioned by the prophet david (pbuh) in the Bible: "who passing through the valley of BACA make it a well, the rain also filleth the pools." Psalm 84:6. The well here is the well-known well of Zam-Zam, still present now, close to the Ka'bah; after thousands of years.

Very funny after reading below statement of yours.

Just listing to yourself, you agree that God said: A MAN and WOMAN-(both singular) but you can still conclude that marrying more than ONE is not prohibited.

Why not plural?
Mr. Emusan, long time how are u and the family hope everything is fine.
Mr. Emusan allow your self to be free. You already have things at the back of your mind.
Why did God allow his prophets (which he speaks to) to marry more than one wives? Still you have fail to show a single place in the bible where polygamy is prohibited. In an important things of life and religion you dont use assumption to judge, you have to have it in black and white clearly stated. almost all the prophets practice polygamy and Jesus even for once did not condemn it. Thank you.
Please i lost your phone No. you can flash me if u have mine or post it here.

Why cant 4 become one? when he said ... I in you, you in them(12 disciples) all become one''...
And who says if 2 become 1, 2,3 or 4 cannot become 1.
See i have explain to your that our noble prophets most married more than one and did not condem it, then what you have to do is show me from the bible where it said you should marry only one or marrying more than one is not allowed

All this are some of many questions i have been wanting answers to , please answer them if u can, i have no ill feeling towards muslims, i love u guys, u are good people, i even enjoy the tones of yr muslims songs and i know how to sing some.

1.         Im a Christian but i want to as muslims why do muslims in some countries believe that killing people with bombs is  good and why do this people believe they are going to meet their creator  after commiting this acts?.

2.        If a Muslims converts to be a Christian he or she can be called his Muslim name even in a church gathering but if a Christian converts to a Muslim He has to change his or her Christian name?

3.        From what i watched in a Muslim movie Mohammed was a warrior but our Jesus preached only about peace and love never once did he hurt anyone.?

4 When Christians Fast we dont advertise that we are fasting its between us and God, Jesus even said when we fast we should look good so people will not know.but when muslims go for fasting they all tell people they are fasting.?

5. As a Christian we can pray anywhere and anytime , and no special thing u have to do to be able to pray to God as much as u like, u can close yr eyes, or not, u can stand or kneel etc. But for Muslims it very different?

I have more questions, if u have any question u are free to ask me . Thanks

QURAN 5:32 SAYS IF ANYONE KILLS ANY HUMAN BEIGN WOULD BE AS IF HE HAD KILLED ALL MANKIND, AND IF ANYONE SAVE ANY HUMAN BEIGN IS AS IF HE HAS SAVED THE LIFE OF ALL HUMANITY.
ISLAM CONDEMS ALL FORMS OF TERRORISM
Then question 2.
It is not a must for someone that revert to Islam to change his name. As far as his former name is a good name it is not compulsory but advisable. You dont expect us to be calling our brother Mr Brown which the word brown is just a colour, while the are so many names of prophets of God like Musa, Isa e.t.c

Then for question 3

Jesus said
Luke 19:27
But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.
Jesus also said in the new testament ..'' i did not come for peace but war''...
But we all know that it is a war against falsehood and truth
So also the noble prophet fought wars to establish justice, against persecution and falsehood

For question 4 someone has clarify you above

For question 5
All muslims (any one that submit himself to one God including Moses, Jesus e.t.c) pray the same way

John 13:8
8 Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me. 9 Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head.

Exodus 40:31
And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet thereat

Exodus 40:32
when they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed; as the Lord commanded Moses.

Genesis 17:3
And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,

Numbers 22:31
Then the Lord opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and he bowed down his head, and fell flat on his face.

Joshua 5:14
And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?

2 Samuel 9:6
Now when Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, was come unto David, he fell on his face, and did reverence. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he answered, Behold thy servant!

Jesus doing the muslim prayer (sujood)

Matthew 26:39
And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

Dear op,

You are lying about monogamy. I don't know why a muslim will tell us christians what is in the bible. I respect muslims that talk about their faith respectfully but you sir, are lying about christianity to advance your faith. I know that honest muslims do not behave like this.

Monongamy is in the new testament of the bible. Jesus prescribed it;

3 And Pharisees came up to him and rtested him by asking, s“Is it lawful to divorce one’s wife for any cause?” 4 He answered, t“Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, 5 and said, u‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and vthe two shall become one flesh’? 6 So they are no longer two but one flesh. wWhat therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.
Brother, you have not proved your point. The fact you are saying that God said a man and woman should come together and be one does not mean that marrying more than one is forbidden in the Bible as God send the laws to the prophets and they are righteous guide for us to follow, check and see how many wives have they? more than one. You can google and see how the law was made on monogamy centuries back, not God's law.

A Prophet like unto Moses

God says in the Bible to Moses:

Deu 18:18 I will raise them up a prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee; and I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

In this verse, God was talking to Moses (Peace be upon him), the word them refers to the Israelites. Now let’s see the words I bolded.

I will begin with the first one: from among their brothers, the brothers of the Israelites are the Ishmaelites, and this was also proved by the script mentioned in Deuteronomy 34:10

Deu 34:10 And there hath not arisen a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom Jehovah knew face to face, Deu 34:11 in all the signs and the wonders, which Jehovah sent him to do in the land of Egypt, to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,

The word “brethren” is not particular with the Israelites as some may think, but it can sometimes mean the brothers of Israelites, for example it was mentioned concerning children of Esau, so there is no problem at all if it was mentioned for the Ishmaelites, especially that it’s very clear here.

Deu 2:4 And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the border of your brethren the children of Esau, that dwell in Seir; and they will be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore;

Then we move to the next part, putting the words in his mouth, this is the way of revelation, since Muhammad (Peace be upon him) was illiterate, archangel Gabriel (Peace be upon him ) taught him the verses of Quran in this way, by mouth.

Now we let’s examine the words (like unto thee), now let’s compare between Muhammad and Jesus (Peace be upon them) in this point, resemblance to Moses (Peace be upon him):

Muhammad (Peace be upon him) was born naturally as Moses (Peace be upon him), while Jesus (Peace be upon him) was born miraculously.
Muhammad (Peace be upon him) was a leader as Moses (Peace be upon him) who led his people, but Jesus (Peace be upon him) was persecuted by the Phariseens.
According to the Christian belief, Jesus (Peace be upon him) is God, while no one believed that Moses or Muhammad (Peace be upon them) were God.
Muhammad (Peace be upon him) came with a new law as Moses (Peace be upon him), while Jesus (Peace be upon him) didn’t come to abolish but to fulfill.
Muhammad and Moses (Peace be upon them) died naturally, while Jesus (Peace be upon him) was raised to heaven.
Muhammad and Moses (Peace be upon him) married, but Jesus (Peace be upon him) didn’t marry.
Muhammad and Moses (Peace be upon him) fought, while Jesus (Peace be upon him) didn’t fight.

Some people might say that the verse in Deu 18:15 says that the Prophet will be from Israel:

Deu 18:15 Jehovah thy God will raise up unto thee a prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

Well, Muhammad (Peace be upon him) was raised within the Jews of Medina, and the scripture reasserts in the same verse, and then in verse 18, by saying: from unto their brothers, and since the word “their” was referred in this situation to the whole Israel, then it doesn’t mean some tribes than others, but it means the brothers of the Israelites who can be no one but the Ishmaelites from where Muhammad(Peace be upon him) was raised.

Someone else might say that Peter quoted it in Acts in reference to Jesus, well the quote itself is not a proof, for example, Matthew quoted the Immanuel’s prophecy and it had nothing to do with Jesus, besides, the quote itself is not accurate:

Act 7:37 This is that Moses, who said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall God raise up unto you from among your brethren, like unto me.

It doesn’t contain “from the midst of thee”, besides the prophecy tells that the one raised is a prophet, it didn’t say for example:”I will descend to them”, but ” I will raise them a prophet”, so even if this prophecy if it didn’t prove the prophecy of Muhammad (Peace be upon him), it disproves the divinity of Jesus (Peace be upon him). But the prophecy clearly tells about Muhammad (Peace be upon him) as shown above.

And look also at what the Jews said to John the Baptist:

Joh 1:19 And this is the witness of John, when the Jews sent unto him from Jerusalem priests and Levites to ask him, Who art thou? Joh 1:20 And he confessed, and denied not; and he confessed, I am not the Christ. Joh 1:21 And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elijah? And he saith, I am not. Art thou the prophet? And he answered, No.

Joh 1:25 And they asked him, and said unto him, Why then baptizest thou, if thou art not the Christ, neither Elijah, neither the prophet?

This means that the Jews knew that the Christ is other than the prophet, some might say that since the Jews asked John, this will mean that the Prophet is Israelite, this is not necessary as it may happen that the Jews misinterpret the prophecies, but on the other hand, John the Baptist didn’t deny that the prophet is someone other than the Christ, and since he is not the prophet, he only said no, I am not the prophet, but he didn’t correct their misunderstanding and say that the Christ is the Prophet.

Blessing of Ishmael

The Bible tells what God said about the blessing of Ishmael’s descendents:

Gen 17:20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.

Gen 17:7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee and to thy seed after thee.

Gen 21:13 And also of the son of the handmaid will I make a nation, because he is thy seed.

Gen 21:17 And God heard the voice of the lad. And the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? Fear not. For God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is. Gen 21:18 Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thy hand. For I will make him a great nation.

As we see here, God in the Bible is talking about Ishamael as being blessed, and that he will have a great nation, blessing according to the Bible is prophecy in his descendents, for example if we looked at Genesis 27 at the story when Jacob took the blessing from Esau.

Someone might say that this prophecy was fulfilled in that script:

Gen 25:13 And these are the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: the first-born of Ishmael, Nebaioth, and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam, Gen 25:14 and Mishma, and Dumah, and Massa, Gen 25:15 Hadad, and Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. Gen 25:16 These are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their villages, and by their encampments. Twelve princes according to their nations.

Well, look at what is said in Genesis 17:

Gen 17:7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee and to thy seed after thee.Gen 17:8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land of thy sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God. Gen 17:9 And God said unto Abraham, And as for thee, thou shalt keep my covenant, thou, and thy seed after thee throughout their generations. Gen 17:10 This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee: every male among you shall be circumcised. Gen 17:11 And ye shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of a covenant betwixt me and you. Gen 17:12 And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every male throughout your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any foreigner that is not of thy seed. Gen 17:13 He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant. Gen 17:14 And the uncircumcised male who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.

So the scripts clearly tell that the sign of this covenant is circumcission, this covenant is everlasting and that the one who don’t circumcise breaks God’s covenant, which Muslims already do while according to Christians , Paul cancelled circumcission.

Other might say that the covenant is with Isaac only as the script says:

Gen 17:21 But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.

Well, this was in the beginning, then it was transferred to Ishmael’s descendents, and that’s what is told in the New Testament when Jesus said to the Jews:

Mat 21:43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken away from you, and shall be given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

Calling Ishmael as a fruitful, and have a great nation is very clear in praising him, otherwise, if God knew that a false prophet came from his descendents where a great nation followed him, why did He describe this nation as great?

Besides the Bible tells in another part:

Gen 12:3 and I will bless them that bless thee, and him that curseth thee will I curse: and in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

We Muslims bless Abraham everyday in our prayer.

Isaiah 42

This is also one of the fantastic prophecies telling about Muhammad (Peace be upon him). This prophecy was told in the Hadiths, there is a lot of variation between it and what is said in Isaiah, but textual variants are present much in Bible scripts, and there are many inaccurate quotes made by writers of the NT, lets look at the hadith in Bukhari:

“O Prophet ! We have sent you as a witness (for Allah’s True religion) And a giver of glad tidings (to the faithful believers), And a warner (to the unbelievers) And guardian of the illiterates(gentiles). You are My slave and My messenger (i.e. Apostle). I have named you “Al-Mutawakkil” (who depends upon Allah). You are neither discourteous, harsh Nor a noise-maker in the markets And you do not do evil to those Who do evil to you, but you deal With them with forgiveness and kindness. Allah will not let him (the Prophet) Die till he makes straight the crooked people by making them say: “None has the right to be worshipped but Allah,” With which will be opened blind eyes And deaf ears and enveloped hearts.”

Now let’s examine the Biblical script:

Isa 42:1 Behold, my servant, whom I uphold; my chosen, in whom my soul delighteth: I have put my Spirit upon him; he will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.

The first thing the prophecy tells about is that the one being foretold is that he is a servant for God, which can’t be applied for Jesus(Peace be upon him) by the Christian view since Christians say that he is God, it may be said that this is for the human nature, this won’t be logical because if God wants to foretell about his coming, He would have foretold about the divine nature not the human nature, since all of us are humans, so there won’t be something new in the prophecy.

Then the prophecy tells that he will bring justice to the gentiles, this also is not Jesus (Peace be upon him) because he said “I was not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. “(Mat 15:24), somene will object telling that he ordered the disciples to preach the gospel to the whole world, well these are the disciples not him, and this was confirmed by Albert Barnes:

“Mat_15:24

But he answered and said, I am not sent … – This answer was made to the woman, not to the disciples.

The “lost sheep of the house of Israel” were the Jews. He came first to them. He came as their expected Messiah. He came to preach the gospel himself to the Jews only. Afterward it was preached to the Gentiles, but the ministry of Jesus was confined almost entirely to the Jews.”

Isa 42:2 He will not cry, nor lift up his voice, nor cause it to be heard in the street. Isa 42:3 A bruised reed will he not break, and a dimly burning wick will he not quench: he will bring forth justice in truth. Isa 42:4 He will not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set justice in the earth; and the isles shall wait for his law.

Then the prophecy tells about his morals, you can read the morals section to see how was the Prophet’s actions, see for example these hadiths:

Anas Ibn Malik reported: I served the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) for ten years, and, by Allah, he never said to me any harsh word, and he never said to me about a thing as to why I had done that and as to why I had not done that. (Al Bukhari)

The Prophet never took revenge (over anybody) for his own sake but (he did) only when Allah’s Legal Bindings were outraged in which case he would take revenge for Allah’s Sake. And henever used bad language. He used to say “The best amongst you are those who have the best manners and character.”He never criticized any food (presented him), but he would eat it if he liked it; otherwise, he would leave it without expressing his dislike. ( Al Bukhari more than one hadith)

He kept on telling about Islam, and faced a lot of harm, but he wasn’t discouraged till God gave him the victory.

The prophecy approaches and says that the isles shall wait for his law, Muhammad(Peace be upon him) came with the final law, while Jesus (Peace be upon him) didn’t come to abolish but to fulfill.

Isa 42:11 Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit; let the inhabitants of Sela sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains.

Then the prophecy gives 2 special places, Kedar and Sela, Kedar is the second son of Ishmael (Genesis 25:13), Sela is a mountain in Medina, and it was mentioned in hadiths, you may say that the Bible’s dictionary tells that it is Petra, well there may be more than one Sela as Seir for example:

H8165

say-eer’

Formed like H8163; rough; Seir, a mountain of Idumaea and its aboriginal occupants, also one in Palestine: – Seir.(Strong’s dictionary)

Besides according to what I know nothing happened in Petra with Jesus (Peace be upon him), and even if it was Petra, Petra is in Jordan which is a Muslim country. You may say that this verse meant that all people will be happy with the coming of Jesus, I say: Christianity in Arabia was limited in Najran in Yemen, and in the borders with the Roman country which was mostly a political alliance not a real belief, but as for the overwhelming majority of Arabs, they were not Christians, and Christians were very few, but when Islam came, all of them became Muslims, if the prophecy really meant that it would have said Rome for example or any city which is well-known to be a citadel of Christianity.

Isa 42:13 Jehovah will go forth as a mighty man; he will stir up his zeal like a man of war: he will cry, yea, he will shout aloud; he will do mightily against his enemies.

Then the prophecy tells about fighting God’s enemy which is certainly what Muhammad (Peace be upon him) did, while Jesus(Peace be upon him) didn’t fight.

Isa 42:17 They shall be turned back, they shall be utterly put to shame, that trust in graven images, that say unto molten images, Ye are our gods.

Then it tells that those who worship the idols would come into shame, Muhammad(Peace be upon him) was sent to a pagan environment, while Jesus (Peace be upon him) was sent to the Jews.

Finally the prophecy says:

Isa 42:18 Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see. Isa 42:19 Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I send? who is blind as he that is at peace with me, and blind as Jehovah’s servant?

Muhammad (Peace be upon him) was seeking God before being a prophet, as God says in the Quran:

52. And thus have We revealed to thee the Word by Our command. Thou didst not know what the Book was, nor what the faith. But We have made the revelation a light, whereby We guide such of Our servants as WE please. And, truly, thou guidest mankind to the right path, (Holy Quran 42:52)

While Jesus (Peace be upon him) was in an Israelite environment who had God’s message, and he went to the temple since he was young, so this can’t be applied on him.

Psalm 45
This was also one of the prophecies foretelling about Muhammad not Jesus(Peace be upon them), to prove this, we can look at the prophecy itself:

Psa 45:2 Thou art fairer than the children of men; Grace is poured into thy lips: Therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.
