Solanke had poor numbers in the eredivisie...he is yet to prove anything. the guy was just looking for super eagles to have a bad game so that he can smile |

Dedebanky85: I knew he was NEVER going to pay for us. You see these guys Solanke, Lookman, Onomah and Ojo they would NEVER play for Nigeria even if there's no 3 Lions callup by the time they are 30yrs. They only see themselves as Nigerians because their parents told them that they the parents come from Nigeria. That's the only connection they have. They don't care much about Naija. So let's erase the team sheet fantasies with these guys.
I would have added Tomori but his earlier romance with Canada and subsequent switch to England shows he has a tendency to be an "ashawo/aristo". I think whoever offers him a better prospect at senior team level would get his services. His preferential order would be England, Canada and Slightly Naija. i think onyedima need to get a look in before he move to any premier league club |

TheSuperNerd: Rohr – Alhassan Ibrahim “Mu’azam ” Has Quality That’s Why He’s In The Team
https://owngoalnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/7A642E89-0BF9-4CC5-A214-4AD92CD9A166-13906-0000034DA81EE7BE.jpeg
Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr has praised the quality of Akwa United forward Alhassan Ibrahim, insisting that he merit been in the team based on his talent.
Mu’azam like the lanky forward is popularly called is the only outfiled player who is a home based player in the team after the coach dropped the MFM duo of Sikiru Olatubosun and Stephen Odey when the squad was pruned down.
According to Rohr, Mu’azam who has nine goals for Akwa United this season in the Nigeria senior national team did enough in training to make the squad for the game against South Africa this Saturday.
Despite claims by some people that the forward was kept in the team due to the fact that he plays for Akwa United of Uyo where the game will be played, Rohr insist he is in the team based on merit.
” He did well in training. He’s here because he has the quality not because he plays for Akwa United. He has a bright future”, Rohr said at the pre match conference.
