I try to register with cybereagles but i got stock at security question because of my browser if any body will help me and register for me i will give him my email and details thank you cc thesupernerd tbaba1234 icon4s safarigirl bascovenveli
BascoVanVeli: I am proud of both of them. Henry for his show of commitment and Alhassan for doing the NPFL proud thus far. He is easily the buy of the season and i can see Akwa getting a pretty return from him.
iluvpomo: Thanks to this thread I got to know that Corsica is a country .... actually an island of just 326,898 people. Now why the F would our super Eagles play against such a small team??
safarigirl: Just like whether they win or not will not affect my country, so why should I support them? If your neighbor gets a promotion at work, is it your salary that will increase?
I get emotional about sports, like I say here a lot of times, I take it personal. So yeah, I want my country to be the top dog, is that not better than people who never care about watching a Nigerian match, but won't eat if their foreign clubs lose?
no be only you my dear as a barcelona fan i will not like madrid to win the ucl, but they all come from spain
This one wey onyekuru the lead for training hope he translate it to a real match day Alhassan showing that the nplf players went there to claim shirt not just training #positive
Humility017: ignorance is really hitting you hard... please do your research... the island has good players plying their trade in French ligue 1 just like catalona of Spain....players plying their trade in LA liga espayon and Barcelona
there is nothing that nigerians don't complain about #corsicagoodforsupereagles
komekn: The fans love success all fans want thier team to be successful. With regards to the Watford fans Loving Isaac, don't know where you got that from, what will they love him for
i know you don't like him so need for me to take your comments serious
Reports linking Isaac Success with a summer move to West Ham are wide of the mark.
The promising young forward has endured a turbulent first season at Watford, starting only twice and playing barely 500 minutes of football, as injuries took their toll on his Premier League campaign, as did falling out of favour with head coach Walter Mazzarri.
The Observer has learned Mazzarri was unimpressed with what he perceived a poor attitude from the 21-year-old which limited his first-team involvement, but Success will face a clean slate under the Hornets' next head coach.
After playing a bit-part role at Vicarage Road speculation over his future is little surprise, however sources close to the player have indicated there is no truth to recent articles suggesting there have been discussions over his future with the Hammers. Success has made 19 appearances for Watford, scoring once.
Clementoke: We hear of Onyekuru's name because he is a Nigerian. There are other top performers (from other countries) in the Belgian league too. Making the team of the season is a decent achievement for a 19 year old. Even gifted students misses out of the top prizes at times.
that is why he stand no chance in winning the best player
Humility017: it's all over the English press....the comment made by NFF spokesman.... regarding the federation plans to get a passport for Tammy Abraham... I don't know why...NFF could be so lousy and dull. such remarks might prompt the English fa to start taking some unnecessary steps and just the careers of these lads should not be at risk
i like the way ivory coast are doing their own, you will just heared that they have secure their players
TheSuperNerd: Who was Africa's top breakout Premier League star? By Ed Dove, KweséESPN
Various African players stood out during an engrossing Premier League campaign, but which of the continent's stars surpassed expectations and who overachieved?
In this feature, KweséESPN 's Ed Dove reviews the season that was, and picks out three breakout African stars of the season.
Wilfred Ndidi was hardly a household name when he was signed by Leicester City during the January transfer window.
Indeed, the 20-year-old only had less than two years of professional experience under his belt -- in the Belgian top flight -- and it was a significant gamble to throw him into the reigning champions' unexpected relegation battle.
However, Leicester's title success was built upon savvy and shrewd recruitment, and while Ndidi -- at £17 million -- was hardly a bargain basement addition, he proved to be another coup for the Foxes.
The youngster immediately offered the kind of midfield presence that Daniel Amartey and Nampalys Mendy had struggled to provide following N'Golo Kante's exit, and while he struggled on his Premier League debut against Chelsea, he thrived thereafter.
Ndidi scored in the FA Cup draw with Derby County and league triumphs over Stoke City and Watford as Craig Shakespeare's side pulled away from the drop, while he was the East Midlanders' outstanding player in a 1-0 win at West Bromwich Albion in late April.
The Nigeria national team look to have a gem on their hands, while the former Genk man has the potential to be Claudio Ranieri's final glistening contribution to his magical spell at the King Power Stadium.
Wilfried Zaha: Even before this season, there were few doubts about Zaha's technical prowess and ability to impress with the ball at his feet. Indeed, Sir Alex Ferguson had seen his talent as a precocious teenager at Crystal Palace and taken him to Manchester United in 2013.
That move ultimately proved to be premature for the Abidjan-born winger, who only managed two league outings during his two-year spell at Old Trafford.
In subsequent seasons, Zaha has shown flashes of excellence, but United will hardly have been ruing their decision to send him back to Palace in 2015.
That might have all changed this season!
After making a combined nine decisive contributions (goals or assists) in his previous 65 outings with the Eagles, Zaha made 16 in his 35 appearances this season -- seven goals and nine assists. Despite the Londonders' struggles under Alan Pardew and their initial tricky months under Sam Allardyce, Zaha's consistency and invention shone through.
He's proved the doubters wrong, launched an international career with Ivory Coast, and it would be little surprise if the big boys came calling again this summer.
Victor Moses: Having been with Chelsea since 2012, 26-year-old Moses may appear to be a strange pick for a breakout star of the season.
However, no one predicted the significant rise in stature the Nigerian would enjoy this term after not only clinging onto his spot at Stamford Bridge, but actually establishing him as a key man in Antonio Conte's vibrant new side.
The wideman came into this campaign -- it's easy to forget -- on the back of mixed loan spells with Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham United, but was kept on board by the incoming Italian manager, who clearly saw something that his predecessors missed. Even more remarkable was that when Moses did break into the Blues' starting XI, it wasn't as a forward or a winger, but as a wing-back, with the West African adapting flawlessly to an unfamiliar role in order to fulfil a role in Conte's 3-4-3 formation.
Few can doubt the former Wigan Athletic man's contribution after he ended the year with 29 starts and became the third Nigerian to win the top flight.
tbaba1234: Is Arsenal the right move for Onyekuru?
I don't think so, Onyekuru has thrived in a system that allows him to come inside as much as he wants. He has also been the main man for Eupen. At Arsenal, he will not be the main man and could easily be a bench warmer. He should make his name with a mid-table team first.
Anyway.... he is still with Hannover 96 (team of Noah Bazee) who just gained promotion to the bundesliga after placing second in bundesliga 2.
But Fabian Senninger featured mostly for Hannover 96 II (the second team of Hannover) in the German Amateur Regionalliga north in the just concluded season.
He contributed 2 goals in the league in 2,014 mins of football (in 22 starts and 6 sub apps). He wears the no.2 jersey for Hannover 96 II and played mostly as a right back even though he can play left back also as he is two footed but right is his prime stronger foot.
Thesupernerd, tbaba1234, icon4s, thegoodjoe, where is fabian seninger(wrong spelling?) that guy that talk about his dreams to play for nigeria i no want here say he miss road ooh....!!
AllforJesus7: No we are not talking position here. Rather the use of available slots. I have personally read someone's grudge on the exclusion of Onyekuru while 'untested' Osimhen keeps making the numbers. And that's the bone of arguement.
Besides kindly watch this Nig vs Zam highlight again.
How many of you felt sick in the stomach watching that game (at 0vs0 scoreline) when Simon wasted that chance with Ideye free beside him? And yes, Simon moses was once very much hyped too.
Please tell if Onyekuru does different in similar situation? He too does not pass and he doesn't play with his head up. These coaches i.e Rohr see these subtle things we refuse to acknowledge hence their reluctance to invite sone of these players we hype and clamour.
And yes Belgium is BACK WATER.... rated according to their performances in Europa or Champions league. Even the Dutch with the likes of Ajax rate above Belgium.
Well like Mikael2 and tbaba1234 stated, I would have to watch him play and not base my conclusions on highlights...... Even though I'm pretty sure 90% of people hyping him here also concluded from highlights.
Much congrats to him though. I'd love to see him in the mix of the eagles.
But I just want to correct the notion of seeing a player full of speed and dribbles and suddenly hyping him beyond clouds.
Oduamadi, simon, Babatunde, Ejike Uzoenyi, Musa (yes Musa too was banging in goals in Russia) etc....
We never get tired. Many of us have not learnt to understand technical players and those who will go far from the onset. Even club scouts give us a hint when big teams table bids for the gems (Osimhen, Nacho, Mikel when he was younger) while Mid to bottem level players like Westham come after our hypees........
Conclusion: All in all, we pray for the best for these boys and we pray they keep on progressing..... But hyping a player beyond what he is.....is doing ourselves disservice.
cc AIG07, safarigirl, icon79, maidaboi
almost all the super eagle players where also hype before the receive their call up
you even went ahead and called the names of players that did not live up to their hypes and forget those that live up to their hypes
osimhen is one of the most hype player here so i don't see what is wrong hyping our players
payet play for west ham and was one of the best player for france at euro
onyekuru is been hype here because of his goals not for his speed or dribbles
and if ideye did not score after receiving the pass or if he had score, you will not said what you just said
as you said let hope for the best from our players
