Mickael2: I didn't really watch the match but that's for arsenal, I am talking about the eagles. we need to map out our formation properly, sometimes in between games Iwobi gets confused, he doesn't know if he is still playing as a midfielder or as a wing forward and that's when people start to assume that he has faded, he just doesn't understand the instructions. honestly I myself do.not even understand his position, he should be a LMF, in that case Henry cannot replace him but during our games he is always too close to the opponents box as a wing forward which is why we all assume that Henry can go there and he will enter the middle full time. I think the coach needs to sort that out, this opinion might not be popular here but I agree with that dude that said that Rohr isn't more tactical than our local coaches, just a better man manager Rohr is more tactical in my own opinion |

TheSuperNerd: Osimhen is gifted.... yes.... Onyekuru is gifted.... yes....
But these two are not in competition for places in the team. Osimhen is being groomed for the no.9 role.... Onyekuru is a wing forward.
Osimhen is a lad with huge potentials and is just starting out. He just recently turned 18 for goodness sake. Give the lad a break.
Onyekuru is 19 and deserves his call-up. And who says Osimhen is more gifted?? Why compare the skill-sets of a no.9 and a wing forward.... na wa for some people oooo....
Abeg... we need both in the Super Eagles camp. They aren't even in competition with each other... Onyekuru's competition is Victor Moses, Alex Iwobi, Simon Moses and Ahmed Musa....
Hopefully Samuel Kalu grows on and come make it hotter sef.... Osimhen is a 9 with top technical qualities and Rohr has assessed this lad and see that he is very very good so that alone justifies to some extent his inclusion.... And Osimhen just made hia bundesliga debut few months after he clocked 18 and if not for injuries, the debut would have come much soonee.
Rohr is not stupid. He has a good eye on the future too.
So plsss drop the Onyekuru/Osimhen debate. 1000 likes |

AllforJesus7: My point is Osimhen is the gifted type of player. Every coaches' dream. A sharp striker who can lay deep passes from the midfield like a No.10.
Do you wonder why he walked straight into Siasia's team right from U17? Or you wonder why Wolve's coach rushed him into the starting line up just fresh from injury? Why does Rohr keep insisting on him?
The coaches simply see a technical gem on the training grounds.
He is untested but he is much more of a gem than Onyekuru.
The modern game prefers highly technical guys to those who can sprint all day with with no end result..... because in big and tough games, precision (of passes, shots, crosses, tackles etc) and technicality is what would matter most on the pitch.
Conclusion: I see what Rohr and other coaches see in Osimhen and I stand with Rohr's decision to include him in the team ahead of Onyekuru whether tested or not.
We have many Onyekurus already (musa, simon etc.......they all play with their head down and final passes lets them down 7 out of 10 times). But we rarely produce an Osimhen. no end results? You are basically talking about another player not onyekuru |

tbaba1234: He plays a lot like an inside forward and does not cross the ball much. He has an eye for a pass but can also be selfish with the ball.
His major strengths are his movement, speed and quick feet. the few times you saw him crossing where they good? And does he makes too many bad passes in a match? Thank you sir you have been a source of information in this thread |

AllforJesus7: I have watched his highlights. Nothing special. Onyekuru is not a good crosser of the ball. He just loves to run at the wings and dribble into a cul-de-sac and he does not like to pass. Nothing to justify walking straight into our starting line up.
Now remember he is still playing with back water defenders. The game is different with established leagues and defenders where he must be able to keep his head up and give cool passes/crosses to beat defenders and have a technical link up play. Otherwise he may end up as another Imoh Ezekiel or Musa.
I'll stick with the.....
Iwobi Iheanacho V. Moses Mikel Ndidi Onazi
starting line up. bros abeg cool down and watch that highlight again or try and watch his full match, then come and explain what you just wrote. And imoh ezekiel was never a flop he choose money over his carreer i believe you watched him at the olympics in brazil |

The electronic edition of The Sun says the England U21 international is prepared to quit Chelsea if manager Antonio Conte does not assure him of first team opportunities next season.
Abraham flourished while on loan at Bristol City, netting 26 goals in all competitions and ended the season as the second highest scorer in England's second tier.
Arsenal are looking to sign a young striker in the summer and Wenger has identified Abraham as his top target.
Leicester City, Everton and Brighton & Hove Albion are also admirers of one of the hottest young prospects in English football.

Isaac Success could depart Watford in the summer transfer window, with West Ham set to reignite their interest in the striker after missing out on his signature in 2016, allnigeriasoccer.com understands.
Watford parted company with their Italian manager Walter Mazzarri on Wednesday, and the Nigeria international is due to hold clear-the-air talks with Hornets chief when a new coach is announced.
Mazzarri went back on his word after capturing the Nigerian, he promised him regular playing opportunities which never happened.
The former Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles sensation needs assurances that he will be part of the first team next season or loan him out to a club where he can fulfill his potential.
If there's no positive feedback from the Vic, Success's priority is to join West Ham ,who attempted to sign him before his big money move to the Premier League.
Ahead of a potential departure from Watford, the number ten has signed a representation contract with Odion Ighalo's intermediary, who holds close links to English and Scottish clubs.

TheSuperNerd: Arsenal Winger Iwobi Reveals The Key Area Of His Game He Has To Improve
https://allnigeriasoccer.com/football_pics/59662Iwobi.png
Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi has acknowledged that he has to add goals to his game and hopes to force his way back into the team.
The Nigeria international had been snubbed for the last eight matches in the Premier League before manager Wenger gave him a run out in Tuesday night's 2-0 win versus Sunderland, but he could not add to add to his goal tally in the 21 minutes he spent on the pitch.
“I need to work hard, create more goals and score more goals,” Iwobi told arsenal.com.
“I’ve been trying to do that in training and hopefully get back in the team. So I’ve just been patient.
“The main thing is we’re getting the three points, we’re winning games, so as long as the team is winning, that’s my main concern.”
The Hale End Academy product has scored 6 goals in 58 appearances for the first team since he made his debut against Sheffield Wednesday in October 2015.

Spanish La-Liga side Malaga are close to finalising the transfer of Nigeria Rio 2016 star Imoh Ezekiel, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
The 23 year old who was ever present for Nigeria at the Rio 2016 Olympic where they won bronze is apparently frustrated with life in Qatar where he plays for Al-Arabi following his shock move two seasons ago.
Malaga cashed in on his unhappiness in Qatar, and with a year left to run on his current deal he could be allow to leave on a cheap by the Qatari side who risk losing him for free in 12 months time when his contract runs out.
This season, he has found the back of the net 8 times in 24 games despite playing as a winger in most of the games he has featured for the team as opposed to his role as the main striker.

komekn: YOU ARE MISSING THE POINT.
The problem is not the children the problem is the teachers and or the teaching system with its inherent culture, norms and values.
A lot of teachers in Nigeria adopt a rigid parochial memory retention delivery. As opposed to a flexible understanding teaching approach found in Europe and N. America and some other places.
I remember when I was doing my Masters at a Russel group university in England. In a lecture theatre and I didn't agree with my Professor I expressed my opinion. He simply sat down and asked me to deliver the lecture, which I did, my Professor felt I knew more and being flexible asked me take over.
When I finished my Masters I was offered a PhD studentship with a stipend ( paid monthly allowance)
If that was Nigeria I would have been kicked out of the class and would probably be made to fail. You go de challenge prof. R u mad.
Finally come to England and see people making coffee and capachino with thier degrees and masters in Costa Or packing shelves in Tesco or Asda. ok sir |
