I heard over the radio yesterday that the rumored planned strike by PENGASSAN was false. I heard the PENGASSAN spokesman himself saying it on Rythm fm.
So were is this news coming from?

Reminds me of an encounter I had with a particular feminist on Facebook. It was through a news article posted on Facebook about how "New Age Teachings and Ideas are sending wrong messages to kids and Crippling down the Family Structure" . I commented by saying something like this: Feminist at work.
Before I could say jack, the lady jump right at me and started raining insults of all kinds, calling me evil. That we (men) are responsible for the break down of marriages with our slave-master mentality. I tell you feminist hardliners are something else.

We congratulate Buhari on his victory at the APC Presidential primaries. We welcome him into the Presidential race. However we want to make it clear that PDP defeated Buhari three (3) times in the past. PDP will defeat him again. Why? Because GEJ has a good track record. His achievements speaks for him. - PDP

There have been several reactions by BBC correspondants and articles published on the wake of the Buhari primary win towards being the flag bearer of the APC in the incoming presidential elections.

The APC supporters here are not happy with some of the publications and opinions coming out of the BBC which suggest that Buhari will not win the election and also that Buhari has not got what it takes to transform Nigeria given his 30 year absence.

Now, the reaction I am seeing from the APC crowd here is total condemnation of the BBC and their correspondant who via his twitter account on the announcement of a Buhari win at the APC primaries, opined that the votes tallied for Buhari in comparison to that of the other contestants showed his weakness that is , that he does not enjoy overwhelming support within the same APC.

Now that is non of my business as I couldn't care less of who wields the broom come 2015 on behalf of the APC but what really got me on is the reaction of APC supporters quick condemnation of the same BBC that they use in castigating the Jonathan administration.

The APC crowd are hypocrites to say the least.

The same BBC and other b.s. MSM outlets like CNN and Al Jazeera false reporting against Nigeria and this current administration have been taken as facts by them only for them to now turn around to condemn the BBC because it opined that their flag bearer is not the right man for the job.

Don't mind the children of anger. BBC, CNN and Aljazeera had in the past ridiculed GEJ to a point of no return to the delight of APC e minions. They celebrated them like heroes. Loved them like money. Worshipped them like god. Now that the tide has changed, they're began raining curses and insults on the same media houses, they ones praised, just because the said the truth about Buhari.

If Buhari wins come 2015, i don't think it's gonna change anything IMO. He is just gonna surround himself with the usual suspect thieves we all know, most of them outfoxed from PDP. And the cycle of looting continues. So, i'm indifferent to both candidate, i 'd just be watching from the side line.

Buhari is already surrounded by thieves. One of them is the Chief defender of corruption.

Two years ago precisely on 12th December 2012, the media was awash with news about the end. The End Time prediction was hinged on the Mayan Calendar that chronologically stated the precise day, time and year the world will end, which happens to fall on the year 12-12-12.
Where people scared? Yes. Many were scared like hell. Scared not just because the world may end per say, but because of their loved ones. Husbands and wives, boyfriends and girlfriends etc. Many were even more depressed because their planned weddings, wedding anniversaries, birthdays coincided with dooms day. Others, well they were not too concerned.
Two years down the line however, nothing happened. The earth is still in one piece. We're still here. We're about to step into 2015. There's no single sign to suggest the world may end anytime soon.
As you celebrate your birthday today, make sure you enjoy yourself to the fullest. The world will stick around for quite a long time. Longer than we ever anticipated.
