That's a classic example of democracy at work. GEJ is a Democrat. He believes in free and fair elections. He doesn't believe in rigging and imposition. Something OBJ and Tinubu are known for.
PoliticsRe: NNPC Questions Missing $2.8bn Oil Money During Buhari's Tenure As Minister by major466(m): 9:47pm On Dec 13, 2014
Do not be fooled by Buhari's little gimmick of "Am Poor" tactics. The guy is totally corrupt. It was under his watch as Petroleum Minister that the sum of N2 billion Naira = $3 billion dollars mysteriously got missing in 1978.
By the time you convert the sum of $3 billion dollars adjusted to inflation of 2014, we will be talking about hundreds of billions of dollars. Buhari is a classic case of a serial looter in Poor camouflage.
Buhari after Atiku, IBB and Obasanjo, is the most notorious THIEF!

Now, some are lapping up the fable that if Buhari comes in as President, corruption and embezzlement in high places would come to an end. But I think this is like the story of the child and Santa Clause. That reality does not exist now or in the future, because the reality of who Buhari is has been shown to us through his real actions, not by the pictures and images being put out there by his spin-doctors and uncritical supporters. Should I start with the scandal of the N2.8 billion NNPC money that got stolen under his watch as Petroleum Minister and head of NNPC in 1978? Let’s bear in mind that the value of that money in hard currency at the time was more than $3 billion. Under intense public pressure, the Shehu Shagari government, which shortly took over thereafter from the military, set up a Senate probe which traced the money to a London Midland Bank account belonging to Buhari from where the money again got missing. No less than a person of the then Senate Majority Leader and Chairman of the Senate probe panel, Dr Olusola Saraki revealed this in an interview with Vera Ifudu of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA). When Ifudu reported this, she was clandestinely sacked by the NTA, but the lady went to court and presented all the evidence and won in a case of wrongful dismissal. Saraki till his death never denied what he told the lady. In the end, they settled Ifudu with a big payout to buy her silence.

PoliticsRe: Niger-delta People Apologises To The Good People Of Nigeria. by major466(m): 9:32pm On Dec 13, 2014
If there's gonna be apologies from anyone it must be from non other person but the cattle rearer himself, Buhari. He must ask for forgiveness from all Nigerians for truncating democracy 30 years ago. Because of him, Nigeria is 20 years backwards.

BackDatAssUp:
I want us to stop exports totally and make it illegal for any govt or private company or individual to export crude from our shores.

That will keep the greasy yanks off our backs.

This petrodollar state we find ourselves is the bane of our problem. It reminds me of the colonial trade in which timber, cotton and other cash crops were exported only for us to import clothes and furnish from Europe.

Let us close the taps to outside exports.
Good point.
PoliticsRe: OPEC Refusal To Cut Supplies, Finally Affecting Shale Oil Production by major466(m): 8:51pm On Dec 13, 2014
And the Americans thought they hit a gold mine with shale oil. Shale oil production is very costly, I don't see them making any significant gains from it considering the rapidly falling oil prices. OPEC should maintain the Status Quo.

Awoh for this place called Nigeria.
You need to see their poor little kids littered all over the streets begging for food in the North. These are the same kids that will be recruited into the almajiri system were lies and hate are thought to transform them into extremist.
PoliticsRe: This Is Who Your Average Northerner Believes Is Behind Boko Haram by major466(m): 3:23pm On Dec 13, 2014
BackDatAssUp:
Boko Haram did not start from the south. It is only reasonable we find the opinion of the region where Boko Haram members are recruited.

Boko Haram are not ghosts. They are not composed mainly of Chadian and Libyan mercenaries. There are for every mercenary a hundred local terrorists.

Understanding how the general populace in the north see Boko Haram is a good start to understanding how and why the group does not enjoy universal condemnation by the north, why the group continues to enjoy recruitment and why the govt and the victims of boko haram are being blamed for this senseless group.
Tell them. Boko Haram is the military arm of Born to rule elements in the North.
PoliticsRe: Did Buhari Just Become Messiah Over Night? by major466(m): 3:20pm On Dec 13, 2014
The first time Buhari emerged in 2003 to contest for Presidential election people laught. They laught not because he was funny. They laught because he's the last person on earth anyone could ever think of that would emerge and contest a Presidential election as an aspirant under democractic rule, given his antecedents and open declaration of war against democracy in 1983. At that time he was the worst candidate ever to signify interest to contest for Presidency.
He's still the worst.

. All former Presidents and Head
of states actually get 23million naira monthly.
Buhari wrote a letter to
the Minister of Finance .He said in his letter that he will
only accept 10percent or that amount which is
2.3million and that is what he has been taking. So Buhari monthly payment is
N2.3m instead of N23m.

This is just to clear the air
Stop spreading lies. The Ministry of Finance has since refuted the claim that they got a letter from Buhari asking to be given only 10% of his entitlement.

But I
found out that General Buhari actually wrote the

mr man this's just an accusation.a mere allegation against gej without concret evidence.most of the corrupt cases u guys r shouting about abound before gej regime.subsidy was a dirty game all this while,no successive government deem it fit enof to tell nigeria the truth about subsidy.gej brought the whole truth out and nw he has being sacrified for that. Impunity, accusation, allegation, impunity, impunity and impunity!wat do u guys take this government for?do u think it's a military junta that will just pick up an accused and lock him up in cell without a court hearing?do u think it's obj military in civillian disguise rule were every power belong to him and he can do watsoever he want's with power? Look at wat happen at osun,a sentence has just been passed against someone commited crime since 2007,(the bomb suspect).7 years after.this is democracy. The problem with nigeria is that for the first time we r witnessing real democracy.this is the first time we r having a democratic govmnt that let all the tenets of democracy unfold it self.that's the reason y this govmnt has much critic, because nw ppl r free to knw wat they want and say it out.cos now ppl r free to write trash about the govmnt and get away with it.it gose on and on
You deserve a Gold Medal.
Years of military rule has damage the psychie of most Nigerians. This damage is deeply rooted in their mentality to the point where the only language they understand is show of force. Nigerians have no idea what it means for a Leader to govern through democractic ideals. To them Obasanjo was a strong man because he fought corruption through EFCC. What they don't know was that Obasanjo's so called fight against corruption was mere window dressing. A process he utilized to fight political enemies. He used the police and EFCC to commit gross acts of human rights violation. In fact, He ruled like a military dictator dishing out orders on who to arrested and who to be spared. He's government was mared by blatant disregard of court orders and abuse of power. Many Nigerians don't know that the state of emergency declared on Plateau State by OBJ where the Governor and the State House of Assembly were suspended was highly illegal, a classic case of impunity and blatant disregard of the constitution. Yet no one challenge it. Why? Because he controlled the National Assembly. OBJ's interference in the National Assembly was mind boggling. It got to a point where he decides who becomes the Senate President and Speaker of the house of Representatives. This is unheard of in civilized democracies anywhere in the world.
OBJ's rule was also characterized by rigging and imposition of candidates. Candidates he feels are loyal and will do he's bidding. Is this what democractic rule is all about? Excessive control and blatant abuse of power? Definitely not. At best he's government can be described as Military Rule in Civilian Camouflage. There's nothing democratic about Obasanjo's regime.
Goodluck Jonathan is the first Leader in Nigeria's history to govern the country democratically by STRICT observance of the CONSTITUTION and the RULE of LAW. It is because of these ideals and adherence to democratic principles that some tagged him weak.

This is good news to me. It means GEJ is assured of 1,206 votes from this camp next year. cheesy
Buhari is finished.

Don't mind them. They are just blinded by hate for GEJ. If you call Tinubu or Buhari corrupt they will pounce on you, challenging you to produce evidence.
