I just highlighted the fact that a Nigerian can go to Ghana and many west African countries, visa on arrival for many east African and central African countries which an European or American can't.
Europe is a totally different scenario
Have you travelled out of Nigeria before? Who told you that you don't need a visa to Ghana or any other west africa countries? Unless you're not using borders.

AutosRe: Total Cost Of Clearing A Vehicle In Nigeria by Majorly21: 11:54am On Jul 29, 2025
Please it's the same amount to clear accidented car and not accidented car?

Is the duty fee fixed based on the year of the car or the amount you bought the car.

For instance if you buy 2015 honda accord accidented car for 1,500usd. Are you gonna pay 3.3 to clear it in Nigeria or you'll 40% of the amount you bought the accidented car??

Im sorry to break it to you but If Nigeria is expensive for you then Brasil would not be cheaper .
I'm not going there because it's cheaper or expensive nor going there to work. Need a sane country to live and get their passport. Open trading account with US brokers to trade stock option and futures. The limitations on Nigerians is too much.

And with what I've watch on YouTube Nigeria is more expensive than brazil if you actually want to live and not mere existing.

2 bedroom apartment "casa" in sao paulo is from R$2.000 to R$5,000 (350$-900$) imagine paying R$3000 per month (6,500 usd or 9m naira in a year) for a beautiful 2bedroom condo apartment with constant light, good water, gym, pool, event/dinner area etc in brazil and you've the privilege to visit hospital for free treatment, go to nearby city and you don't have to pay to use the beach and on Sunday free public transport and other benefits from the government.

Compare the above scenario to living in lagos IV or Ikoyi paying more than 15 millions naira or more for an average empty old 2 bed apartment without constant light, dirty water, smelly streets with bad road. No benefits from government, pay more than 700k in a month in band A, spend more than 150k for Internet. Drive 15mins and see people living on water from your home, on a good afternoon you can easily spend more than 2 hours in traffic from VI - Ajah. You'll pay to enter beach nothing is free, one king somewhere has arranged boys to collect from people. You can't even travel with your car or go on road trips without the fear of police, bandits, biafra with their sit at home. You need to hold extra money when travelling with your car for police men. I can go on and on, Nigeria isn't a place for a sane person to live unless you're benefiting from corruption and you're corrupt too.

I totally understand why so many men become red-pilled. Back in university, I was practically invisible to women, it was as if I didn’t exist. I remember mustering the courage to tell a Gabonese girl I liked her, and she hit me with, “What’s your like or love going to do for me?” I was so ashamed of myself.

I studied marine engineering at a maritime university, and if you know anything about that field, you know how tough it is to get a job without solid connections. Some companies would visit our school to recruit, but out of a class of 70, they’d hire maybe eight students. And, of course, those eight were the ones all the girls wanted to date because their futures seemed secure.

Then came life after university, and it was even more brutal. I barely had clothes to wear. Most of my trousers were torn at the back, and I just had to manage. I tried starting a business, but it failed miserably. At that point, it felt like all hope was lost.

That’s when I decided to learn coding, not because I had high expectations, but because I kept seeing ads during COVID: “Learn to code and work from home.” I figured I had nothing to lose. Little did I know that single decision would change my life completely.

I started struggling my way through, hustling on Upwork, then moving to Reddit, applying for jobs anywhere I could find an opening, and learning interview skills. Back then, people laughed at me, but little by little, things started improving. I began making decent money by Nigerian standards, but I refused to upgrade my life because my focus was on leaving Nigeria. Every month, I saved as much as I could while researching my best options. That’s how I discovered Chile, and once I had enough money, I left.

The beginning was tough, but looking back now, I’m so glad I made the move. The version of me that was once invisible to women now has them smiling at me and trying to talk to me all the time. But none of that matters because I only love one woman, and she’s the only one I want to be with.
Please what's the dating life in chile. I'm a day trader but not fully profitable and I'm tired of Nigerian girls. Majority of them are emotionally unavailable and money focused. They're not passionate/romantic.

My plan is to travel to Brazil once I'm profitable and live there because of the low cost of living.
PoliticsRe: See Picture Of Onitsha Before And After Peter Obi Became Governor Of Anambra by Majorly21: 4:16pm On Apr 18, 2023
I've the privilege to visit onitsha last month and honestly nothing to write about, no single good road. 99.8% of housing there are old, like those abandoned government upstairs that haven't been painted for years. Not to talk about the Agbero, you'll start seeing those igbo boys in delta state before the bridge causing chaos and collecting money from drivers and if you refuse they'll start stoning your vehicle.. if you see the way these igbo Agbero behave, very unculture and uncivilized people, they'll come after you when they see you buy too much clothes and you hire or in keke and you put your bag in extra seat in the keke. They're ready to kill themselves because of 100# the level of poverty in that state SMH. You'll see average igbo boys picking damaged irons in street with no hope of tomorrow.

I spoke with the tricycle driver and ask him if this is how the entire state look and he said yes and I also ask him what did Obi do while he was governor and he said he tried his best and repair some road but the material is substandard. The only good road in that onitsha is the picture OP posted here and it's federal road not state road. The road is from delta state through river Niger down to onitsha. That's the only good long road in that state.. nothing in that state and it wasn't Peter Obi that repair the road that the OP posted it was federal government.

TravelRe: Between The United Kingdom, The USA, Canada And Europe Which Is Better? by Majorly21: 9:34pm On Jan 14, 2023
Tradinggiant:
as a forex trader in Europe you will be paying income tax compared to USA
You won't be paying taxes, Ireland and other European countries see it as betting but in the USA it's a must you pay tax especially when you are hedging and you're even forbidden by law not to trade certain pairs for long against DXY (dollar) and you can't trade nas100, us30 and sp500 as CFD in the USA unless you are trading them as futures, Es mini etc. Most USA traders that trade stock options have move to Dubai, and other developing countries because of the tax in the USA..

Even the tax money USA go USA am fight war without thinking of elevating the masses and introduce free healthcare.. even if you get tax in Europe, just know say na your money government take de pay health workers, so people that are sick of cancer and other diseases are benefitting from the tax, na the money government de share among the poor and African immigrants. At least the tax is for a favourable cost. Not going to war and killing people.

And he didn't even mentioned the expensive real estate market in Canada. Getting a shitty house for more than $1m without pool and the house will look outdated AF. You can't even compare Canada to Australia. You Nigerians don't do research.

Too big that everything is so far (only the province of Ontario is bigger than Nigeria but has less population than Lagos). None-existent bike paths/culture and cities are built for cars and not for pedestrians.

Huge shopping malls everywhere, that one can only visit by car. Shopping was more of a chore you planned due to lack of small family owned supermarkets and shops inside your streets. Anyone that have been to Brussels, London or Amsterdam will understand this. There are streets that cars are banned so people/cyclist can thrive.

Too segregated, and people hardly mix, too cold. Culture too americanized (no such thing as an organic Canadian culture), is too far from Africa and Europe, and too expensive to live in, to list a few.

I am not an economic immigrant, I just wanted a change in environment and was exploring Canada by visiting it, but when I was there, it was like bleh, I can't live here. Even Vancouver that is considered the warmest rains a lot. Made me appreciate Europe even better.

For example, I can be in any corner of the over 40 European countries via flight, which is really cheap. But it's not the same in North America. Europe is well built and connected, and trains leaves to other European capitals from your city.

In Europe, it's common for people to live in Belgium and work in Netherlands, or live in Finland and work in Sweden. You won't even notice that you've crossed into another country except that your phone starts sending message that you're roaming and perhaps, different language in road signs.

Also European weather is diversed. If you like winter, Scandinavia is there, or hot weather, then Portugal/Cyprus/malta/Italy/Spain are there. If you like wind and rain, Ireland and Netherlands will give you that. There is something for you.

In Europe, cultures are organic. if you drive just two hours from Poznan (Poland) to Berlin (Germany), the language, currency, culture, architecture, and everything look different. True diversity is organic, rich, and distinct.

Canada is too soulless, artificial, and the centuries old mega structures are nonexistent. Why do you think American filmmakers go to Europe to shoot movies that requires old European architecture? Canada is a newly built country.

And also, as a business person, population density is really important to me. Canada is bigger than the whole 27 EU countries twice, but the EU has about 460 Million people, compare with Canada which is about 35 million.

So if you need a huge population base to sell stuff to, Europe is better, and I am not even adding the population of Ad-hoc European countries that surrounds the EU (e.g Turkey, Serbia, Russia, etc).

And for families, the EU is better. Free education, free healthcare, generous social services, and long maternity/paternity leave. The student debt common in North America is not a thing in Europe. I once had an American classmate that owes 70k USD in student loans, and I felt sorry for her. A young adult starting life as a debtor is such a shame.

And oh, people are fatter there. It's because the food laws are not as strong as in Europe, and the walking and biking infrastructure is just not a thing. As a tourist, I felt immobilized that I can't just use public transport, unless I have a car, or use uber. So people do not walk/bike a lot, which is exercise.

And especially Canada is a hotbed for wokism, its like all the homos, radical feminists, masculine women, and feminine men moved there lol, as in, I just feel like punching people for no reason lol, just kidding grin

So there you go, that's my assessment of Canada when I was there. But hey, it's my opinion, and should not be taken as gospel. What is good for Ada might be bad for Adamu, so be guided.
One more important factor is the time difference.. if you're a financial analysts and trade in the stock or money market (forex) you'll appreciate Europe more.. you can't be awake 2am-6am trading London session or wake by 7AM and start trading new York session.. and depending on where you live in Canada time will be different from new York..

As a Nigerian that watch football and nature and love travelling, Europe is more better than Canada or the United states because Europe give you plenty options to live within the European countries Visa free for unlimited period. If it's too cold in one country, you can easily hopped on a train and move to a warmer country. I feel Europe is more safe

Nigeria is one of the worst places to do business. Even real Estate (renting of apartment) is the worst investment to do in Nigeria talking from experience.

majority of my friends that came to Nigeria and invested in agriculture biz during Goodluck tenure are all complaining and many have closed their business regretting why they didn’t make a down payment for an apartment and put it on rent and the other are complaining of exchange rate, make #3m for the year and after all expenses around 1.3m is left convert it to dollar ($2500) for a year after all the calls from Nigeria and the stress grin grin
