Emma2017: Hi @Emma2017 For sure I can help. But please note that applications for Winter semester 2017/18 are closed already. And it’s only available in winter semesters. What you can do is to begin preparing every necessary documents from now till end of March next year e.g. your transcripts of results, strong motivation letter, university certificate, letter from your Uny to exempt you from writing English Language tests, 2 Recommendation letters from notable professors from your UGrad Uny, a detailed Europass CV (just in case) and your international passport having at least 6 months before expiration. If you have other certifications in special programs you can add them too. Hope this helps. Shallom! 5 Likes |

Hallo Leute! Hi guys! (In Jenny's Voice) I just want to say a big THANK YOU to God, and a very big shout out to all who contribute immensely on this thread every time. And a big congrats to everyone who have gotten AMs and also gotten visas. I'm writing to encourage newbies that, with God, anything is possible! And also to let you know, this thread is loaded! Its a mine loaded with more-than-useful information. Its a collection of encyclopedias begging to give you abundant and more-than-enough knowledge, just like wisdom is crying in the streets to everyone who desires to have her. You should not ignore the pleas of all who ask you to read it from previous pages. Since 2015 when I got my admission to study M.Sc ERM at B-TU, and after being refused a visa that year, I deferred my admission to WS2016, and then to WS2017 again due to a whole lot of issues. But, believe it or not, I'm writing to you right here from Germany. I've begun studying! It can only be God! I went for my first interview on August 18 2015. I got my new admission letter sometime in April 2017, applied for a visa and got a date for June 20 2017. I got a Go-fund-me mail from the embassy on the 25th of September 2017 to fund until the 10th of October 2017. I was finally able to pay in completely on that same date (Twas a big miracle, all thanks to God), but I had to write the embassy that I had funded (proof of transfers were also attached) and that DB will later send the confirmation, so I needed some more time, which was honored. Long story short, DB confirmation dropped 11th of October, AM dropped on the 12th of October, Visa was collected by hand from the embassy 3 days after AM dropped (I had to write a letter to the embassy to this effect since I was running out of time with enrollment). God favored me all the way. To all who aspire to achieve this dream, remain tenacious and resilient, and with Jesus on your side granting you favor, you're good to go! I believe God will favor you all too. So this is me saying, All the best guys! Tschuss! 7 Likes |

LoL...Same ol' questions. Never changing. Same person that interviewed me too. Most likely will be same person to interview most of us 'cos she's particularly there for Long Term Visas, and that includes Student Visas. If she's the one, then you're good to go if you know and answered all her questions correctly. No mago mago, No wayo! I must say, Congrats all the way bruv! The vaccination card part was just a panic strategy. I think He does that often, just to be sure you aren't nervous or fearful and can confidently face his colleagues inside too. During my time, he screamed at me at first but I was unmoved. It was simply just because I gave him my 2 visa application forms and the 2 passport photos instead of just the forms alone when he requested for "your two completed visa application forms" LoL. In my mind I was like, "why didn't you just tell me to remove the passport photos rather than yell!" Anyways, for the rest of us, for whatever reasons never fall for it. Its only a panic strategy, that's all! Success stories await the rest of us. Shalom! Olanrewaju92: 4 Likes 1 Share |

darlingtonNYIG: Congratulobia! I think I told you not to worry at all. One tip for you: don't book for your ticket too earlier. I discovered on wakanow that its more expensive flying to Frankfurt when u book 6 weeks in advance (cheapest and most convenient I got was 207k approximately, Royal Air Maroc with one stop over at casablanca, 9hrs 30mins for total time of flight) than when you book 1 or 2 weeks in advance (cheapest I got was 185k, same airline, same route, same number of stopovers and total time of flight). Please everyone could experiment this and give feedbacks, thanks. But this was what I discovered when I experimented with booking on wakanow last week. PS: Please if anyone has another cheaper better way of booking kindly post here. Thanks in advance. 3 Likes |

I didn't tick it. I think there are parts of the form (including this part too) that don't really apply to student visas. So whether you tick it or not, it has no effect on the application. The first question one should ask is, since student visas are long term visas spanning more than 12 months, and the German embassy never gives a visa permit for more than 3/6 months from here (they know when we get there we will have to extend the permit to be able to remain in Germany for the period of our studies there,) then ticking it or not is irrelevant. (My thoughts though, I stand to be corrected.) uchevolata: 2 Likes |

Relax man! I didn't tick it too. So long as you were not contacted by the embassy or FedEx/DHL after the first 2 weeks from your interview to come for your documents, it means they have very strong interests in giving you the visa. They were simply waiting for you to fund your account, that's all. Since you've funded now, just ensure you send them the notification from the bank once you have it by mail so they can start processing your visa. In short, you have the visa already bro. Congrats! Go and start celebrating. Start packing your things and get set for #WINTER Negro1986: 3 Likes |

Yes. But include your department, i.e. the name of the course you are going for. For example, you can put: International Office Department of Industrial Economics University of North Rhine WestPhalia 0304625 NRW, Germany. If you know any specific contact person at the department or the international office there, or the name of the person written on your admission letter (usually the person who prepares and sends the admission letter), you can add their name first before stating the address. Hope this helps. uchevolata: |

I honestly still do not understand how this FORM A at Zenith bank is possible. I visited one and was told that FORM A is not for funding individual or personal accounts, but for corporate accounts. And you said they still funded using FORM A last month? Please I'd really like to know which branch and what was required for the funding to be done. Thanks in advance. donkafor: 2 Likes |

donkafor: Hi. I just sent you a PM. Kindly respond with a fresh mail and not by replying the PM, so I can get your message. Thanks. BTW, I've been told by these banks you mentioned that form A is no longer used for payments being made into an account that's not in the name of an institution like a school (for school fees) or a hospital (for medical bills) or any other institutions of such sort. Up until April 2017 form A was possible. But I doubt it is now. They claim CBN just released a new policy to this effect. Since the blocked accounts (both DB and Fintiba) are in our names, it makes it almost impossible to use FORM A now. Please if anyone has funded recently (this month of July) in a cheap way other than FORM A, kindly just let us know. Please please and please! Thanks in advance. 2 Likes |

Take note of the bold text. I think that's where the problem might be coming from. You can't apply for both B.Sc and M.Sc in the same course/department in the same school for the same period/time frame/semester. It sounds funny to me, like you're trying to gamble or something. I think the department/UNI-ASSIST might be thinking something is wrong somewhere. I'd suggest you write the school/department or UNI-ASSIST concerning this, just to clear your doubts. righthappenings: |

uchevolata: I suggest you go to WAEC Hqtr office at Yaba, or any other WAEC office in Lagos, like Ogba Area/Zonal office. They'll sell it to you there. Even the merchants that stand outside the offices will sell to you without you having to enter the WAEC office itself. I don't think you should go through online method 'cos it may not look "authentic" to the embassy since they are already used to seeing a regular scratch card. (Just my thoughts though!) 2 Likes |

uchevolata: 1. I wasn't properly informed about the processes. I think this thread has done justice in providing more than sufficient information you need. 2. Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance. I took the preparation (spiritual and mental) processes lightly. I didn't prepare well at all the first time. If I will advice you, you need to rehearse every answer well. Prepare as much as you can. Rehearse in front of a mirror like you were facing the VO, and answer the questions to yourself. It will help. But overall, try not to answer mechanically or like a programmed robot because of 'overcramming' lol. It could cost you. Best wishes all the way! 1 Like |

I got it 500 naira in PH where I live...but that was in 2015 when I was first denied a visa at the embassy. It wasn't used then but was returned back to me. I simply used it again since it doesn't expire. It shouldn't be more than A thousand bucks now, max. uchevolata: |

Yes. Its a letter. So it has to be addressed to someone. That's why it follows that format. I also got the info somewhere on this thread a day to my interview. Please kindly share the files you downloaded from my link here. I've been trying to upload the files in PDF format but to no avail. Thanks. uchevolata: |

To @Uchevolata and all the rest, Hi! Happy Sunday. In addition to @Negro1986's post concerning his interview on June 30, here's a quick one for y'all going for your interviews soon. U can download the attached files and study them. Its a transcript of questions asked during my interview that held on the 20th of June 2017, and some possible answers, and also a copy of my motivational letter and some other useful docs that might be of help in preparing for the interview (please don't copy and paste word for word, just simply improvise from them, thanks!) My experience was quite a great one, and I pray its even better for you all. God's Speed, God's best! 30 Likes 2 Shares |
