I also agree on the feb because 3 months will be given to successful candidate to resume which will obviously lead us to fab.

My understanding is, November to feb is 3months.

If you were told "towards year end" you shouldn't have come here and draw dates of your own.

This would be my final post here, but will come around in December when the next recruitment might have kickstarted.
As many of you know, I'm just a new entrant without a rope talk-less of a string to pull. I'm however able to source info being in the HR function. Now, this was what I found out from a source whose reliability is not in doubt.
- Letters dispatched on Thursday have gotten to their destinations and successful ones already contacted. (Undoubtedly the merit has lost this one)
- The curtain has now fallen on the 2016 DPR recruitment, however there is another opportunity lurking by December. Do not feel discouraged to give it another shot
Now I feel really saddened and wish I could make it right, but I guess this is how much I can go. Take this as an experience to learn that sometimes you have to make it happen for yourself. We now come again in December.

Cos many portals will be shut and all stakeholders and 'merits' will have an official updates there. So keep your fingers crossed.

I doubt if the Portal will be used in contacting successful ones.

After reaching out to some people (insiders) who are willing to release information, here is what I gathered:

1) Resumption is 22nd of July 2019. CONFIRMED. This is no prediction and I have been supplied proof for this which I am willing to present should/when need for it arise.

2) On why we haven't been notified yet. What I was told: "Some things need to be done before APLs can be released". On probing further, I was not told what these things are but I guess the insider was referring to meeting(s) which is to be done before APLs are dished out.

Another insider: Top level meeting will be held this month (date/time not specified) and some concerned people will be made abreast of developments or progress concerning the recruitment.


I am in full support of the protest once this month is unfruitful and I am willing to submit the proof made available to me. We need to put heads together and make this protest impactful. We can't achieve anything divided. Unity is key.

If resumption is next month. APL distribution should be this month.

Please supply the proof you have because there's need for it now. We don't need to wait anymore for anything.

Honestly speaking, its really hard to decipher what is wrong with our set of hopefuls on this DPR recruitment. At this point in time you still get people arguing about whether to seek a path to demand answers to the long awaited conclusion and APLs distribution after all the failed dates and counting? Limiting our uniting power on hinderances of "what proof do we have?" Which proof again.

Like seriously, there is even a mention of July? First week? Like seriously?

1. We never asked for proof from faceless informants on the infos they have given that turned out negative in the end. More like, needing no proof to believe info from a faceless forum that you should wait, it is coming, it is coming. But need proof to enable you demand answers directly from the source? It makes sense right?

DPRs portal till today has a disclaimer to only get info on recruitment from the portal. That portal was not used, no info passed, but info on a faceless forum was adhered to religiously with resistance on any attempt to question even on glaring failures. To now find ways to know why its so, despite calls already made and resumption a year now, you are asking for proof? Mehn, we are Moles to ourselves not DPR.

2. Remember last year when the info on calls for second batch started failing like pack of cards, a particular Friday was set that if nothing happens action will be taken. Fighting and arguements came in, and that was how the wait and dates giving gallore won, but to whose advantage? Today where are they? Same thing playing out again. No lessons learnt.

For the first time an info carries "on behalf of DPR Mgt", meaning as usual without questioning be optimistic and look forward to Monday 24th that it works this time. However, one thing is certain if nothing happens on this date, then the 27th will also go the same way. If so, under what proof now are we waiting till July? AFCON, WWC or Premier League resumption?

There is no need for any PMs. If tomorrow nothing happens, Let us put it out here and discuss extensively on saturday/ Sunday what next to do as preparation for a negative 24th.
