roymary:Firstly it is immature to claim to be "more adventurous" than people you've never met before. Besides having been to "nearly all" the continents says nothing, you could've been to only 6 countries each on a different continent ("nearly all" continents = 6 or less) and come here and claim to be adventurous, think quality not quantity. roymary:You have severely low self-esteem, so having white folks around you means "luck". Wow! I wish you many white folks ![]() roymary:It is true and well-documented that SAns of a certain generation do lag behind their African counterparts in terms of formal tertiary education - mostly due to historical reasons. That does not in any way indicate intellectual superiority on the part of Nigerians. I don’t know if such a study would be acceptable but somebody should one day pit University of Cape Town graduates against University of Ibadan graduates (that is your best university right?) on a head-to-head or as you call it “Black to Black” I can bet you the myth of SA’s being of inferior intellectual capacity will surely be debunked. I’m not claiming that SA students would trounce their Nigerian counterparts or vice versa but the study would go a long way in debunking the myth that we are stupid or slow compared to Nigerians as you implied. But if you insist that that’s what makes you ‘giants’ then you can go with that – but how has it benefitted Nigeria? It is rather benefitting other countries including SA. It is well and good to claim greatness based on the numbers of learned Nigerians but how great are a people that jump ship when the going gets tough to enrich already rich countries at the detriment of their own country that needs their brilliant minds more? |
SA Goddess:Easier said than done Goddess - the only way is for this thread to die a peaceful natural death then I won't be drawn to it, its comic relief but my colleagues are tired of my LOL o rata go phoqana wena ![]() |

Talking about electricity, I think this topic needs to be "load-shedded" now. It has run its course. |
Sagamite:I suppose we should count ourselves as fortunate then, in a twisted kind of way - we are not subject to his showerhead whims but rather to the ANC NEC's You ladies swooning over Naija men, spare a thought for our long suffering SA brothers LOL They didn't see it coming, all relaxed and secure in post-1994 euphoria then bang! Out of nowhere (well, Africa) came a bevy of chocolate-skinned, well-built, tall, bow-legged, confident, educated, ambitious brothers into SA and well, SA ladies know a good thing when they see it and they go for it too ![]() |
this is weird the xhosa gal and jennykadry are having a serious catfight while on the other hand SA Lady and Goddess are serenely discussing the (de)merits of an ANC government! LOLI am one of those that sat back and watched in horror as Zuma mshini-wam'ed his way into the presidency, with the uncouth potbellied swollen-faced Malema declaring that he was prepared to 'kill for Zuma'. I wonder what the 'masses' think when they see Malema swoosh by in his Range Rover while boasting an H in Woodwork in his high school certificate, they must think that being in government with minimal education is the way to wealth. As for Zuma, while his fellow inmates were studying in prison, what was he doing during his 10 years languishing on Robben Island? No matter who says what, there's a lot to be said for education. Some even commented that they didn't have the priviledge of studying for a Masters in Economics at Essex (a jibe at Mbeki) but look at the calibre of people Mbeki is still able to summon (after his so-called disgraceful exit from government) to discuss his renewed African Renaissance project. All of which of course doesn't answer the question of whether Nigerian men prefer SA women over Nigerian women, but this thread was messed up long before I also added my bit of confusion to the mix anyway ![]() |
Funny topic SA women are really spoilt for choice, it's raining men of all nationalities ![]() Reminds me of a girl I know, she didn't know the naija dude was married and fell for him, a neurologist. Next thing she gets a call from Kemi telling her to leave her husband alone. She apologised to Kemi and explained that she didn't know dude was married and she'd leave him alone from now on. So she put a distance btwn herself and the guy even though he was persistent. Problem is Kemi also just wouldn't let up with the abusive phone calls even when the SA lady was really trying to shake the guy off. Kemi swore at her repeatedly and told her she didn't want Aids in her home. That was the dealbreaker I guess, coz the lady decided wtf and went back to the naija dude full force. Long and short: Kemi is back in Naija while the SA lady and the neurologist are living it up and even have a baby boy.I'm not condoning or judging what happened but these are the sort of things that happen. |
