He was shot at point blank range. Either he shot himself accidentally or there was a struggle to collect the gun from him. The gun was literally on his hand when it was fired judging by the exit wound. He emptied the blood in his heart. He was fully dead in less than 2-3 minutes. |
Set up more Army Bases in the Niger-Delta. Talk to the natives, they know the people perpetrating these acts. Penetrate the wheelers and dealers in that region, find the sponsors, find the financiers, find the customers. Make friends with them. Start community projects so that they can feel federal government presence in their lives, not just coming to siphon their oil and destroying their eco-habitats Employ the locals, the theft will not be completely eradicated. At least there will be more organization in the theft Even if Nigeria employs every Tom Dick and Harry in the Niger delta, its still a lesser cost than the oil theft and insecurity preventing further exploration in that region. Meet OPEC quota, sell excess after maximum exportation for revenue, to Dangote at a subsidized rate and then he can sell petrol to Nigeria cheaper |
DesChyko:Read the topic. 1-Accuser whoever blaming yahoo boys. 2-Diverting the attention from the ills of yahoo yahoo by insinuating what government does is worse. Self explanatory, but since you are persistent. I want to ask you a question too. Is that statement befitting of someone who will oversee the affairs of the whole country. Yahoo yahoo perpetrators and corrupt politicians inclusive ?? |
Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, you can talk to them alone. You have more experience than Tinubu and Buhari put together. |
SeeWahala:I hope you are not the most sensible person in your family. |
Artscollection:You eat cow meat ? |
delpee:You cannot irrigate feed cows in dry season ? Are you educated ? I said dry season....cost of irrigation in dry season , enough to grow grass to feed cows is astronomical 1 Cow can eat a whole football field in one dry season, you want to irrigate 2 million football fields ? 1 cow will cost 20 million naira when its ready to sell. You think irrigation is free ? or cheap in the dry season ? |
Splashme:Do you watch football ? Some home based players do better than big names playing for big clubs. |
Sell before it Halves. And wait to buy again. Thank me later. |
DesChyko:If you have 2 children, one does yahoo yahoo and the other steals your own money, when the neighbors complain about the one that does yahoo yahoo, that they know about.....will you respond to them "if you know what his brother does ! that one steals my own money ! Thats what Obi did, it might have flown over the head of many people, but some can decipher a man by the things he say. This kind of analysis shouldn't be uttered by someone who wants to be president. Thats a statement uttered by a potential troublemaker. Thats why people find it hard to trust him. |
BlowYourMind:Soludo said he increased the poverty in Anambra ? Is that true ? Nigeria has enough poverty......Abeg ! |
Politics doesnt work that way. He didnt win that office alone. There are political stakeholders that will make nominations to him, he cant refuse. Nigerians problems are peculiar, you dont have to be international to address most of it. The good thing about the minsters are, they just have to assemble a good team and take the credit. The brains can even be a team of recent university graduates or experienced business men. Most ministers are figure heads technocrats. As a good minister you should know how to select and manage a good team. Fashola is a lawyer, Ngige is a doctor.....A good administrator would make a better minister in my opinion. |
Good Job, But dont forget, Whats good for the goose is good for the Gander. EFCC should be releasing daily news, Once in 6 months apprehension doesnt justify the existence of the whole agency. Announce whistle-blowing phone numbers. Announce email addresses where fraud allegations evidence can be sent to. The world has advanced so much, you can have a lot of evidence sent to you as long as you always protect your source. Once everyone knows, that the fraud could be detected and reported anonymously, it will cut down corruption by at least 50-80%. If you see something funny going on send an email to us, send us a text with evidence, we will investigate the rest. Not until you get that serious all these showboating wont curb the degree of corruption we have in Nigeria. |
Kukutenla:I am not surprised, Makinde is a quiet high achiever.....No noise, just action. |
DesChyko:In ethical or moral discussions, this tactic Obi used is generally considered a form of moral relativism or a flawed argumentative strategy because it doesn't address the merits of the original issue or crime. Instead, it seeks to undermine the credibility of the accuser or divert attention from the matter at hand. This concept is often described using the Latin phrase "tu quoque" or the logical fallacy of "whataboutism." "Tu quoque" translates to "you too" and refers to the attempt to discredit an opponent's argument by accusing the opponent of hypocrisy without directly addressing the issue at hand. |
Ikpunekenwa:My friend the cost of feeding a cow in the dry season when there is no grass is expensive. The only way these herdsmen can afford it is to graze down south to greener pastures If they stay in the north all through dry season, one cow will be minimum 5 million naira, because they had to be buying food for the cow. People are complaining about chicken feed being expensive talkless of cow. Chicken grows in 9 weeks. Cow can take 2-3 years to mature. If you buy cow feed for 3 years every dry season that cow will be 5 million when its time to sell it. I hope you understand now. |
Let us see the first and God fearing Governor to boldly announce payment of the Wage Award. Thats how you know which of these governors are presidential material. |
emerged01:Grass doesnt not grow in the north during dry season. If you tie down a cow and feed it during dry season without grazing the cow will cost 5 million each when its being sold. Only way to cut cost during dry season is to graze to the south where there is greener pastures. Solving the problem is not as easy as you think |
Impressive moves by Tinubu administration. The least we can do is feed ourselves We dont need to invent airplanes just yet, LET EVERYBODY EAT FIRST,GOOD NUTRITIOUS AFFORDABLE FOOD |
Ikpunekenwa:You can make your point politely, no need to curse. Nigeria has dry season in the North, transmigration of animals seasonally is a well described phenomenon, even in the wild. Only way cow meet has subsidy in Nigeria/Africa is because they roam to feed. If you tie down a cow to feed till maturity, the cheapest cow in the market will be 5 million naira minimum. So herding actually benefits all of us, however these has increased clashes with farmers, which we can get together and find a solution to. See i didn't curse or abuse you . Learn to talk like that. |
gidgiddy:I am not biased, both scenarios are criminal, you cannot positively describe the thief because he is not the rapist. People that do these have dark minds. Go and read psychology. A mans speech and utterances is a window to his mind and thoughts. Obi needs to talk with more maturity at his level of involvement in Nigerian politics. |
Dubai doesnt know one of our Serial presidential aspirants resides in Dubai ? Sheikh Al-Atiku El Dubai. Can you advocate for the emirate to give us multiple visa. I am sure if Atiku makes one phone call they will give Nigerians lifetime visa with multiple entry. The same type Atiku has. |
He was better off messing with the Mexican Cartel. People are already avoiding the 737 Max. One more event and its a done deal, even for me. The guy was definitely "unalived". Boeing is America's pride and monopoly. Whistleblower act cant protect you, when you blow a trumpet. |

The president can not do everything, thats why you have the senate. Let them organize hearings between the herders and the farmers representative. Farmers how do we guarantee your safety and crops Herders how do we guarantee your safety and cow herds 1-Problems will be identified 2-Possible solution will be entertained 3-Least costly most effective trial solutions will be selected. We might not get it right the first, second or third time, but at least there is a process in place. Eventually we will get a lasting solution. Have open/closed door senate hearings, let Nigerians see transparency in your effort, so that if it doesn't work eventually, everyone knows you tried. |
I see 3 presidents in this picture. #One Past president. #One Present president. #One Future president. |
otipoju:None of these is stage IV yet. I agree we need some "ectomys" to sanitize the system. A lot of people exploiting the system, even amongst the so called elected officials. |
Zulum the performer. We hear nothing but good things about you. Presidential material in the waiting. |
No one needs to die, The right person needs to be born. |
Be careful how you promote unity in Nigeria. Your followers "obedients" might not be happy with you. They seem to like anarchy, bigotry and disunity. Openly chastise them once in a while, it will increase your acceptance. Nigerians are not the types to be intimidated by anyone. |
Good Job, I hope your successor adopts. a maintenance culture. Rural PHC's are one of the only ways, rural Nigerians enjoy the dividends of democracy. |
Not unusual, for a smaller bank to acquire a larger bank. While it's not common for banks with larger liquidity and asset bases to be acquired by banks with smaller liquidity and asset bases due to regulatory and financial considerations, there have been instances where such acquisitions have occurred, albeit in specific contexts. One example is the acquisition of Wachovia Corporation (USA Bank) by Wells Fargo(USA Bank) during the financial crisis in 2008. At the time of the acquisition, Wachovia was struggling with significant losses in its mortgage portfolio and faced the risk of collapse. Despite being one of the largest banks in the United States in terms of assets, Wachovia's financial condition deteriorated rapidly during the crisis. Wells Fargo, which was relatively healthier compared to Wachovia and had a strong liquidity position, stepped in to acquire Wachovia. This acquisition allowed Wells Fargo to expand its presence in key markets, and solidify its position as one of the largest banks in the United States. While Wachovia had a larger asset base than Wells Fargo at the time of the acquisition, its deteriorating financial condition and the need for a buyer to prevent its collapse led to the acquisition by Wells Fargo, which had the financial strength and liquidity to absorb Wachovia's operations. This acquisition highlights how exceptional circumstances, such as those during a financial crisis, can lead to banks with larger asset bases being acquired by banks with smaller asset bases but stronger financial positions. |
