Peter Onu re-contested his sit as OAU Secretary-General which Buhari voted against in favour of a Fulani from Niger.

You claimed that Nigeria alongside other big 5 African countries had agreed to not contest the 5yr tenure position as OAU secretary-General but failed to state that Nigeria (under IBB and Obasanjo) occupied the OAU chairman position which is for a single year.


The fact remains that Onu contested for the sit and Buhari cast his votes for a Fulani man from Niger.

The Chairperson is the ceremonial head of the AU (OAU) and is occupiable by Heads of State only. So, IBB or Obj occupying the seat is in no way related to the matter at hand. What we're talking about is the Secretary General of the AU (OAU) who is the head of the AU's secretariat.

That you've never seen an Igbo man prostrate to somebody does not mean they cannot do it or they don't know how to do it. See there are some cultures people borrow because they choose to borrow it For example: Ngwa people in Abia state can never call anybody that is their elder by that person's name an Ngwa person uses "Dede and Daa" to qualify elderly men and women respectively. And now do you know that some ethnic groups in SE and SS have borrowed it because they see reason to do that.
