2) And Igbo culture does not forbid prostration. why should we question something that is not bad OK, prostration is bad when kanu is involved but it is good when yoruba elders/leaders are involved isn't it?? I just don't know exactly what you are insinuating.
4)It means that what keeps kanu going is animosity from people like you just the way you people are doing it in the whole social media. praises weakens kanu thats to tell you the kind of person Nigeria is dealing with.
5) I still maintain that you should prove kanu wrong.
10)Kanu is a Jew and never visits shrine. 2. I have never seen Igbo man prostrating to a man. They consider it disrespectful but for Yoruba it is their culture. Even at that, the young people no dey do am well well now. They'll just bend their head or shoulder small and that's all. Even sef some elder for Yoruba will say don't do it when you wan prostrate for dem. na only king dey allow that kain complete prostration. . 4. na wa o! which kain prayer wey bi na to have more enemies? . 5. a. enemybulldozer: I want you to understand that an average Nigerian is a liar and also a propagandist this is because they believe that is the shortest cut they can use to achieve whatever that is their aim.
1) The people you mentioned chose to do their thing the way they wanted it based on the kind of country they were in. And I believe that Kanu is doing his own freedom fighting the way it suits Nigeria its not a must that Kanu should do his thing the way others did theirs.
2)Why will you call it a disrespect to human dignity is it because it is kanu?? Don't yorubas prostrate to greet and honor their elders or leaders??
3) That is what nigerian media made you to believe. In the real world things are different from what they report that's why real biafrans have boycotted nigerian news since.
4)How??
5)Prove him wrong
6)Because I have not seen kanu lie like lie Mohammed.
7& I've told you that an average nigerian is a liar and a propagandist. The fact is that, that person must have done that with lies and sentiment.
9)check very well it is a repetition. That question has been answered check very well.
10)Another lie and propaganda exactly as I've just said. Can you provide the video or audio evidence to prove yourself and the people that gave you such report right.
11)Yes! Buhari violated court orders several times before kanu did his own. Even Musa daura the DSS boss also violated court orders so, whats the fuss with that of Nnamdi Kanu. And again, have you asked yourself what the security men did to them that led to that fight stop turning a blind eye whenever you sensed injustice because it maybe you tomorrow. 1. Kanu cannot do it his own way. There should be standards. . 2. Igbo culture is not known for prostrating yo greet elders, therefore Kanu is introducing something new to them and you people are not questioning his motives. . 4. What does he mean by he doesn't need praise but enemies? . 5. Shey you too believe say Buhari still dey for London? . 9. Corrected. . 10. It's evident. Kazim88: I would explain why..
You open Biafra/Kanu/IPOB thread... comment about it....
You try to attack Kanu... without understanding the consequences...
People don't trust you because you represent obviously North Interest... their brain reverse ur comment...
eg... when you say Kanu is bad... their brain interpret it as Kanu is actually powerful and he his given this Northerners sleepless night. We must encourage him for him to succeed.
you have just won a new convert for IPOB
that's all you guys do...
When Col. Abubakar Umar spoke... he was talking about one Nigeria... not break up. he even quote Usman Dan Fodio
The whole Nigeria, Mostly Igbos and Southerners acknowledge his superior wisdom.. and gave their respect Tho he is a core Fulani Muslim.
Learn from Col. Umar Abubakar.... only people like that can end biafra agitation... the rest of you guys are big promoters. You may have a point, but when Kanu said he'd destroy the North, that's including the Umar you're talking about. Have you for once heard Kanu talking about the good northerner, except those he'd want to use to divide the North further. . I may want to ridicule Kanu, but that aside - tell me any of the questions that I asked and have not been raised by others. My thread is to throw more light on the type of leadership that Nigerians youths shouldn't follow and to get certain clarifications. I still, for e.g., cannot say which religion Kanu follows, as such I must be wary as to what interest he represents. He flip flops within three religions within about 2 years if staying in the country. He might be a foreign spy (as alleged but not raised here), or a conduit sent to destabilize the region. |

If Nigeria was sane, they would have been working hard to show SS why they are better off in Nigeria than eloping with SE...
believe me SS were the 1st to be tired of Nigeria... SE have not seen ½ half of what SS have suffered and you think they would not ally with SE... You wonder why The Militant group that threatened to blow pipeline demanded for the release of IPOB members
even Middle Belt are looking at posibility.. SW are now indirectly backing IPOB saying Northerners are the only people that want to arrest Kanu.
Northern Nigeria had always undermined our union because they believe by fire by Force we must be together... if they knew our unity was negotiable they would had carry everyone along. Hopefully it is not too late. It's all politics. They don't give a hoot whether Kanu is rearrested or left free. If it'd bring them more money to demand Kanu not to be arrested they'll threaten fire - but they wouldn't lay their lives for Kanu. . On aligning with SE, you know, with all honesty the SS fears the Igbo more than they do the North or SW! |

Kazim88: Your question is irrelevant.
Kanu is not Biafra ... If anybody (anybody) had come out and said its biafra or Death... the Igbo nation would rally around him.
and he would keep having more convert and volunteers.
The question you should be asking... if you are sensible is how would Nnamdi Kanu and Biafra issue benefit you and your people
How would Biafra benefit the core North.?
not masturbating over Nnamdi Kanu profile. If he likes let him have 21 million Passport..
what everybody, From SW to SS to MB to SE are calculating is how to benefit from IPOB agitation... If you like don't wake up. So to you, quality does not matter - anybody can come and if he shouts "Biafra," all of you will follow him. The point is there are charlatans whose motives are nothing but self-serving, and wouldn't mind how many are destroyed as long as their ego keep inflating or their bank account keep getting fatter. Let you give you an instance: Even though it's difficult for me yo like Ojukwu, I can't question his leadership potentials and quality. Kazim88: the bolded is actually an absolute truth but the problem is
1. The North over time has underrated and understand value the SE and SS...
The value oil from SS but disregard the people.
The North have actually believed the propaganda they were born to rule, they can do any thing without backlash... at worst the would kill and destroy southerners in the North...
Without understanding that such bullshit would lead to resentment and opposition. then to destruction of the system.
The moment The North believe the Igbos are conquered tribe.. that does not deserve a fair deal...
That the SS are inferior that can be oppressed that was the day they destroy Nigeria.... it was only a matter of time.
A fair Nigeria is too hard for the North to conceed.. They still believe in violence and threat... they have always use it against others thereby creating more damages.
let them prepare their best weapons and violence... to once and for all damage the whole system. But before we all know what is oil and its importance Nigerians were living together. What most of us consider selfish is a situation where you've been with people, fought for independence together, fought a civil war which the Biafrans included you in their region and you refused, only to come and say you're going because you're rich. The Biafrans too are seem as greedy by most Nigerians. We believe your inclusion of SS is either because you want to take (only you) SS oil or have access to the sea.. . The North does not underestimate the Igbo. What the North has against the Igbo is mistrust, and I believe many Nigerians have that feeling too. But trust us earned. For e.g.Would you protect me as a Nigerian or would you promote your own to the detriment of others. This has been playing out for, for example, the 1966 coup where we see largely Igbo officers killing regional but sparing theirs, or cases where Nigerians would be accused of certain crimes but the Igbo would isolate his and defend. . These crises of confidence to me, more than any other thing, are what makes the Igbo feel not part of the system. It wouldn't have been as pronounced had level headed personas like Ekwuene got to the peak of leadership. |

attackgat: Let me put it in laymans terms so you will understand.
When Zik was leading his group and agitating for the independence of Nigeria from Britain, would you have asked him any questions? Of course you wouldnt have, because you would have known that Nigeria being independent is the right thing. Fortunately for Zik, he was dealing with the British who are civilised enough to realise that it is not good to hold people against their will indefinitely. Eventually, Nigeria became independent and Nigerians still celebrate this on the 1st of October every year.
Well, the same thing applies to Nnamdi Kanu. Just like Zik, Kanu is leading his group to agitate for the independence of the Igbo nation and the minorities who are comfortable with Igbos, to be indeoendent of Nigeria. The only difference is that Kanu is dealing with uncivilised Nigerians who unlike the British, think that holding people against their will is how things are done.
If you can understand the right of Nigeria to be independent of Britain then you should have no problem understanding the right of Igbos being independent of Nigeria. I am not Igbo. Why do I respect Zik and am questioning Kanu? Zik is respected worldwide. He's an inspiration and a role model to all freedom fighters all over the world. He is a pan-Africanist. He is not a revisionist like Kanu. . I honestly ask you: Would Zik allow any Nigerian go down and nearly touching his shoe in the name of respect? Mind you if Zik allows that, it'd tell more about him than the followers. Answer me, don't bring any ... 'but, but.' |

enemybulldozer: The truth is that you're being driven by hate and frustration because you can't begin to imagine that people you love to hate are working tirelessly to divide your precious zoo country. Let me trash the junk you came up with.
1)What is wrong in a freedom fighter having two passports which law prohibits that?? Throw more light on that.
2)people prostrate to kanu out of love and respect they have for kanu and not the other way round. Kanu has never and can never order people to prostrate for him people do that willingly. Besides, why do afonjas want to kill themselves over this issue when they're the masters of prostration.
3)Let me give you an example, somebody came and took away your husband naira and later decided to return 50 naira to you (and that is after you gave him the fight of his life to return your money complete) will you take the 50 just like that. As me I will insist you give me my money complete.
4)Kanu said that he does not need praises from people to work, that what he needs is animosity and hate speech that should tell you all you need to know.
5)Kanu is not APC and lie Mohammed that love to lie.
6)NO he is not
7)Kanu is the owner of a company that is called phonics.
who told you that kanu's company only worth £300? How can a company of £300 achieve a huge investment like RB? I can see that you love shooting yourself in the leg.
9)How many times are you going to ask this question??
10) kanu is a Judaist
11)point of correction, you're lying and you know it. Kanu and his group don't confront your security operatives rather is the security operatives that is taunting kanu and his group to see if they retaliate so they can label them terrorists we all know this. Thank you for a response devoid of insult. This is what would make us build a stronger nation, by engaging in constructive discussion. . 1. I asked whether there's a similar case and you didn't give any. E.g. Gandhi, Mandela, Arafat, Gaddafi, Martin Luther, Malcolm X, Azikiwe, Awolowo, Sardauna, Nkrumah, Senghor, Sankara, etc. . 2. Would you allow people do to you as you saw being done to Kanu? I consider it a disrespect to human dignity to allow such. I will call Buhari, for e.g. a bad leader if he allows any of his followers do that to him. . 3. But honestly bruh, what's due you is that N50. Everybody who's been following Biafra knows there's always a frosty relationship with Rivers, not to talk of Benue. . 4. I don't understand your point here! . 5. But he said Buhari is still in London. So, you believe him? . 6. If without any proof you can say that, what proof does he have against those he accused? . 7. & 8. Yes he has a company, but a search on the company by a concerned Nigerian showed that the company has only £300 in all its existence. . 9. It's not a repetition. The question has been raised by many. We need answer. . 10. If he's a Jew, why are we receiving reports that he will want to build a shrine in Arochukwu? . 11. But he has severally broken his bail conditions, urged his followers to destroy the country if rearrested, and just yesterday we learnt some of his followers had a fight with some security men. |

Ask them if they have ever kissed their father's shoe before? That's the disturbing thing; if he wants to build a shrine in Arochukwu, do Christians and Jews build and worship in shrines? You see him go to a pastor for blessing and the next day he'll question Jesus. Another day he'll be receiving blessings from a priest in a shrine and at other places he'll proclaim he's a Jew. |

ofai: On Blind Patriotism by ofai: 11:32pm On Sep 04 What many people fail to acknowledge is that the pro-biafrans were once patriotic Nigerians. they once believed in a Nigeria where everyone had some sense of belonging. A Nigeria that will be just, fair and equitable regardless of religious and ethnic affiliations. 50 years of a failed post war national experiment is no more a joke. Its not funny.
I don't believe in blind patriotism. if there is sincerity on the part of Nigerias leadership to fix Nigeria regardless of economic challenges, there won't be escalated agitations. A true patriot is not a blind patriot. NIGERIA wants blind patriotism. they won't get it from me.
If they don't restructure the faulty system, I won't settle for less. I will go for a whole new and carefully negotiated biafra. Thank you NNAMDI KANU for rising to the occasion. I agree 100% that the Biafrans were once patriotic Nigerians. But what exactly and honestly led to their not believing in Nigeria again? As they say, it takes two to tango; is it then, all Nigeria's fault or the other side can take some blames too? How do you fix a thing; do you abandon it, engage with it or destroy it? . I will agree with you as you said the Biafrans were once patriotic, and proceed from there that what they need is not another country but a fair country. Also, I've had here an Igbo man who honestly say that he's having a crisis of identity with Nigeria. These are honest assertions, meaning, if the crisis can be resolved, it won't matter if it's Biafra or Nigeria. The question is HOW do you fix what you believe is broken?
