Christianity Etc › Re: God Is Not In Control Of This World by Malocity(m): 10:16am On Dec 16, 2018 |
noblejames: The Overt Notion: Control: Going through the caption above, to many it insinuates insult on the side of God. It will not sound palatable in their ear; they will see it as something that tingle the ear. Somehow, people who tow this line of thought shouldn’t be blamed. This is because this thought has been the overview notion generally in acceptance. So it sounds unwise if someone can come up with a caption like this.
The reason is that in their subconscious being they have known God to be the owner of this world. Therefore, they shouldn’t see the reason for anyone to suggest otherwise when it comes to who controls the world. The fact is that the notion that God controls things in this world is overtly at home in people’s heart. In everything and situation that comes up the response is always “God Is In Control.” Merely looking at the situation of things in this world, one cannot help but ask, if God is really in control? The word control is an English word and it means to regulate or govern, or better still a regulator or a governor. Therefore, when we say God Is In Control we are insinuating that He regulates or governs the world. Somehow, it shows that whatever that happens on the face of the earth is under His auspices.
This notion has opened an opportunity for people to ascribe wrong identity to God. And as a result many blame God for many things that have gone wrong in their life. A proper scriptural understanding of this topic can help us to resolve these wrong tags and blame on God.
The Hegemony Of Man:
Let’s see what God said in the book of Genesis: And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”
Genesis 1:26
The watch word in the verse above is this statement “and let them have dominion”. To have dominion simply means to have control over an enclave or thing. This indicates that the one that has the dominion dictate the pace of things or events. He or she call the shots and says what goes on. It is also an indication that every other thing is subject to him or her. So the person in question is the ruler of the enclave and every commands proceeds from him or her. This shows that he or she has the final say and whatever he or she says stands and no one can alter it. Interestingly, God said and let them have dominion, He didn’t say let us have dominion over the earth. Therefore, man has a delegated authority to command affairs of the earth. Man is the regent of God on the earth. It implies that the earth knows no other God except man. So man is in control.
Control Demystifying The Declarations:
In order to demystify the claim of this topic, let’s see again what happen here in Genesis 2:8.
“And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.”
Here again, God formed the man and put him in the garden. Question: why did God put the man in the garden? The answer is in Genesis 2:15.
“And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.”
In quotation above, God reveals that it is the responsibility of the man to (1) dress the garden (2) and to keep it. The implication of this is that the total well-being of the garden lies in the hand of man not God. That is to say that, how wonderful, beautiful, clean and how depleted, rough and disfigured the garden appears will be the making of the man. Therefore, man takes control of what happens in the garden. Notice that the garden is the environment that the man lives and here God has given him the control. It is clear that from Genesis 1:26, man is in charge of all the entities on the earth. And in Genesis 2:15, man has been given the authority to control his environment. So far, the implication of this is that God cannot control other entities for man. And He cannot as well controls man’s environment for him.
Controls In The Hand Of Man:
Let’s see again another thing God handed over to man to control.
“And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat. But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”
Genesis 2:16-17
The above quotations entail the level of freedom man has received. It shows it is total freedom over what he can consume. Man has the freedom to eat whatever he likes. So he’s in control of what he wants to eat, nobody tells him to eat this or that. He has the right to eat anything and any fruit. Be it the fruit of knowledge of good and evil or the fruit of life. Please stay on this contextually because the subject is not about the consequence of eating but the freedom to eat.
The freedom here is the control power given to man over what to eat and what not to eat. Another thing that God gave man power to control is death. Again look at the quotations above you can see that man has the power to die or not to die. It is stated clearly here that “for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” Man has the control or willpower as well to take the fruit of life and eat. Therefore, it is the responsibility of man to control his life. God cannot control man’s life for him.

Hence already dogma and we don't dig deep to understand what God says and have said. Actually, man was created to dominate earth as stated clearly by God himself and man was to work hand in hand with God in order to fulfill this task. Christianity Etc › Re: The Big Joke In Christianity by Malocity(m): 9:47am On Dec 16, 2018 |
I don't have problem with denominations but what surprises me is that if we all serve one God:
why is there variance in our services?
Why is there variance in what we believe is right before God? (Female should cover hair, while in the other female does not cover their hair, etc) same Bible!
It's so unfortunate to most of these recent pastors who claim to be called even when God did not give them any mandate, hence preaching the Bible with A Dictionary meaning by the side. It hurt my faith alot most especially when I happen to find myself in such congregation.
Preaching from the Bible is way beyond looking for dictionary meaning of words, the Bible was not written in English it was translated from Hebrew and Greek; even so there are still some translations in KJV that are misinterpreted.
Let me stop here. Not until we understand that God never, I repeat; never created this Region called Christianity, we will not stop seeing what we see today.
Thank you. |

Christianity Etc › Re: How Do You Feel When You Fall Under The Anointing by Malocity(m): 9:24am On Oct 21, 2018 |
FALLING UNDER THE ANOINTING or CRYING WHILE PRAYING & WORSHIPING GOD (Correct me if am wrong) I use to wonder why when others fall and I don't, even in the same congregation. But later I realized that it's not just all about falling but submission. There are some persons who are not submissive to the spirit; in worship, prayer and praise to God. Have you equally wonder why people cry during worship or prayer? At this point, one can say your spirit is broken (you now have a connection in the spirit that within seconds, tells you how worthless you are but still enjoy God's Favour, Love, Security, Provision, Protection etc). Now, about falling. People can fall because of:
1. A Possessed Spirit Leaving the Body The body is under the control of a Spirit and Consciousness also called the Soul. So if the spirit of a man leaves, the person falls indicating that the body is no longer controlled by that spirit. Lets go to Church; even while someone is possessed by an Angel of God (of which I have witnessed) and the Angel tend to leave after delivering the message, the person falls. Likewise it is when an evil spirit leaves the body at a command usually during deliverance cases.
2. Impactation While in an impactation service, one falls as a reason of receiving something heavier than just the physical interpretation. You experience a heavy move upon you but the funny thing is that you can resist it by (1) doubt (2) non-submission to God (3) Pride; 'me of all people if I fall na f**k up". And you don't fall. While on the other hand you don't fall but you receive A CONFIRMATION OF GOD'S PURPOSE AND DIRECTION FROM THE ULTERANCE OF THE MINISTER. You must not necessarily fall.
Conclusion Falling under the anointing is an amazing experience, but because we have a SELF WILL we sometimes chose to let God have His way or not. Sometimes the Pastor will pause and ask you to release yourself, that's because we resist the move of God.
Hope this contribution helps as well? Have a Pleasant Sunday and a Splendid week ahead.

HeyCorleone: Methinks the reason is not a lot of people are aware that they are back. I use the Nokia 2, their definition of a budget phone, any time people see it, they get wowed by the design and ask "what brand?"When I tell them Nokia the next thing I hear is "Lumia?". It's at that point I have to explain everything to them, and they're just thrilled.
I think if more people are aware that Nokia is back, which affordable products, they'd dominate. As in they'd clear these low end Chinese phones off the market. Me too use the Nokia 2. Am so in love with the phone whenever an update is done. Did you see that "Change SIM" function while making a call? It's wow! So many thing to enjoy in Nokia android. It does security patch update every month...how many other android phone does that? Thumbs up for Nokia Android. |

Romance › Re: Does Age Really Matter When It Comes To Marriage? by Malocity(m): 7:54am On Apr 01, 2018 |
pander1234: please i need your sincere advice on this my current girlfriend i have dated for over 2 years now we have agree to take it further (marriage) but my concern is that she is the same age as me and infact her birthday comes before mine. so i want to know if marrying someone that has same age with you is bad or not
please no insult just your sincere advice Am in the same shoe with you Bro. Thanks for bringing it up. My own opinion on why I really want to take mine relationship to the next level (marriage) irrespective of her age is that: 1. She fears and reverence God. Getting married to a woman that because of life situations, advice from friends and have negative personal perception about God I think its you getting close to your grave. Because you as a husband can't even serve God and imagine what will become of the children without at least the fear of God in them. But I checked her, and she has that zeal for God and she can spend her money for the Kingdom. 2. Respectful 3. Hardworking 4. Brilliant 5. Domesticated 6. And she is Beautiful. In conclusion: In a marriage, both husband and wife will grow old. Especially if the marriage gets to 30 - 50years of existence. At that time who cares? The only thing about the woman getting more older is that they (female) get too fat and later boring. But wash her weight. Marriage is different from hooking around. Thank you. Happy Easter to you all. Cheers!!! |
