Christianity Etc › The Fool Say There Is No God. by malvisguy212(op): 6:34am On Jul 03, 2015
Christians often cite Psalm 14:1 as a
rebuke of atheists.However,the Hebrew
word translated "fool" doesn't have the
same connotations as the English word.
The passage actually says that we are all
foolish.

Psalm 14:1 is the verse that a lot of
Christians like to quote to atheists,
believing it is a rebuke of their atheism.
However, if we look at the entire
passage, we see a different picture:

Psalms 14:1-3: The fool says in his heart,
"There is no God." They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good. (2) The LORD looks down from heaven on the sons of men to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God. (3) All have turned aside, they have together become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one.

Christians usually only quote the first
half of Psalm 14:1, as if it is a slap in the
face to atheists. Is this really a verse
against atheism?

FOOL'S CHARACTERISTIC.
The second half of verse 14:1 says "They
are corrupt, their deeds are vile." At first, you might think that the "they" are those who disbelieve in the existence of God.
However, the end of verse 14:1 says
"there is no one who does good." One
might still think that the verse is referring to atheists. However, Psalm 14:2-3 make it clear that as God looks down on all people, He can find none who are not corrupt, emphasizing it with "not even one."

The Hebrew word translated "fool" is
nâbâl, which is an adjective having the
meaning of "stupid, wicked" or "vile
person." It comes from the root verb
nâbêl, which means "to fall away,"
"figuratively to be foolish or (morally)
wicked" or "causatively to despise,
disgrace: - disgrace, dishonour." So, the
Hebrew word nâbâl refers more to bad
moral character rather than just being
stupid. He is foolish because he thinks
God will not notice his bad behavior.

WHO IS THE FOOL?
The passage makes it clear that God can
find nobody who does good or even tries to understand God's ways. From God's perspective, not one person attains His standard of moral behavior. So, God sees all of us as fools. We all like to compare our behavior to that of others. Example!! When I was still a sinners(atheists)I was morally superior to most Christians. However, I was still not measuring up to God's moral code.

HOW TO MEASURE UP.
Unless you think you can lead a perfectly moral life, God has a solution for your problem. God's solution is to allow you to trade your moral imperfection for the moral perfection of Jesus Christ. The trade is accomplished through faith in Jesus' sacrifice as payment for your sins. The offer is really generous, but will cost you your self-righteousness. No, you can't remain an atheist either. As the psalmist says, you must "seek God."

CONCLUSION
The fool says there is no God. But, he is
not foolish because he is an atheist, but
because he thinks he can get away with
bad moral behavior. Psalm 14 goes on to say that all people are corrupt and there is not even one who does good. So, God says that we are all immoral fools. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we He can measure up to the moral perfection required by a Holy God. So what the verse is saying is DON'T BE A FOOL AND THINK YOU CAN MAKE IT ON YOUR OWN.

See above and act accordingly.
1. He was born of a Virgin – Surah 3:45-47; Surah 19:17-21.
2. He was the Word of God – Surah 4:171.
3. He was a Spirit from God – Surah
4:171.
4. He was Faultless (Sinless) – Surah
19:19.
5. He was the Messiah – Surah 4:171.
6. He was Illustrious in this World and
would continue to be so in the Hereafter – Surah 3:45.
7. He was taken to Heaven by God –
Surah 4:158.
8. He will come back as a Sign of the
Hour of Judgment – Surah 43:61.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 55,
Number 641:
Narrated By Said bin Al-Musaiyab:
Abu Huraira said, “I heard Allah’s
Apostle saying, ‘There is none born
among the off-spring of Adam, but
Satan touches it. A child therefore,
cries loudly at the time of birth
because of the touch of Satan,
EXCEPT MARY AND HER CHILD .” Then
Abu Huraira recited: “And I seek
refuge with You for her and for her
offspring from the outcast
Satan” (Surah 3:36)

Sahih Muslim, Volume 4, pg 1261:
Abu Huraira reported Allah’s
Messenger (saw) as saying: The satan
touches every son of Adam on the
day when his mother gives birth to
him with the EXCEPTION OF MARY AND HER SON.

Why should Jesus be the only man who
is without sin among mankind? The
Qur’an admits his sinlessness but gives
us no reason for it. The fact that the
Qur’an testifies that Jesus was a prophet
does not answer our question. Why then are other prophets not described in the Qur’an as being faultless? In fact, quite a few are shown to be wrongdoers. But we must ask again, “Why was Jesus the only one who is sinless and not other men?”

We can only comprehend this if we
understand the full significance of Jesus’
role in God’s purpose. We will also
appreciate why all these unique features are vested in one man. Since the Qur’an does not reveal what made Jesus so unique, we need to go to the Bible for the answer.

Lmao. . Jesus read from the book of Isaiah. . this is just like saying because malvisguy reads the book of job he is fulfilling it.

Isaiah clearly stated "The spirit of god is upon "me" he did not say "him". . . so it is very clear isaiah was referring to himself when he made that statement hundreds of years before jesus. . anyway whatever more meaning you add to that is now your business. . .I have just corrected your assertion of jesus being the only prophet to say " the spirit of god is upon me". . am done

Surah 5:Verse 116, And behold!
Allah will say: O Jesus the son of Mary!
Didst thou say unto men, "WORSHIP ME
AND MY MOTHER as gods in derogation
of Allah?" He (Jesus) will say, [ a ]"Glory
to thee! Never could I say what I had
no right (to say)... [ b ] (Jesus speaks)
Thou knowest what is in my heart
though I know not what is in thine..."
Verse 118, (Regarding how God should
deal with Christians, Jesus is supposed to have said) [ c ] "If thou dost punish
them, they are thy servants: If thou
dost forgive them, thou art the exalted
in power and wise."

Jesus NEVER FOR ONCE told anyone to
worship Mary, nor did the early church
do so. Not even peter when Jesus say on
the cross "behold thy mother" make
reference to Mary in his epistle in
regards to worshiping Mary infacte, Paul, James ,Timothy, and the rest apostles do not even made mention of Mary in there epistles, where do muhammed get the idea that christians worship Mary ?
And in surah 5:118. It says:
"If thou dost punish them, they are thy
servants: If thou dost forgive them, thou
art the exalted in power and wise."

Jesus would not teach that God could
forgive those who add to, or take away
from, his Word, when we read that God
had already condemned them in
Revelation 22. Muhammed has Jesus
saying, in Al Koran, Sura 5:118 "If thou
dost forgive them, thou art the exalted
in power and wise." God will not forgive
those who add to, or take away from, his Word. Muhammed then must have
added verse 118 out of his fertile
imagination, or perhaps he was trying to
cover for himself in the future judgment.

Isaiah 61:1(King James Bible)
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed
me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the
brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the
prison to them that are bound;
is a prophecy which Jesus fullfiled in luke 4;

Luke 4:17-21
17 and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written:
18
“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,to set the oppressed free,
19
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”[f]
20
Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it
back to the attendant and sat down. The
eyes of everyone in the synagogue were
fastened on him. 21 He began by saying
to them, “TODAY THIS SCRIPTURE IS FULFILLED IN YOUR HEARING .”

Isaiah 57:15 talks about god yesterday, today and eternity.

If god was wrong yesterday and decided to correct the bad concepts he laid down in the old testament and still said that the law will serve you from now (then) to eternity which jesus assented in the new testament.
That makes god inconsistent, malevolent and imperfect.

Now same thing happened in the bible where god himself commanded you as living being to kill directly and even wipe out all living thing both children of 1 or 2 yrs old who know no sin. A loving god indeed.

Romans 1:24-32
Deuteronomy 22:20-21

Exodus 21:15
Chronicles 15:12-13
Zechariah 13:3
Deuteronomy 22:20-21

Now tell me the difference between you and the Muslims. They are even more proactive obeying their gods command and carrying out his command than you who out of sympathy, empathy, objectivity rejected your god and his commands and are here in Nairaland ranting nonsensical arguments.

There are so many things you don't know and same with me but on the process it don't be arrogant.
Romans 1:24-32 was talking about homosexual moreover God did not say anything about killing, read the it again https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans+1%3A24-32.

All the rest verse you quote are old testament law which Jesus came to fullfiled by seating an example for us to follow, according to the old testament law, the adulterous woman is soppose to be stoned to death , but by His grace, he was given a second chance to repent. That why Jesus say to her " GO AND SIN NO MORE" .
Christianity Etc › Re: Contradictions Analyzed:bible And Quran. by malvisguy212(op): 6:54am On Jul 02, 2015
malvisguy212:
THE QURAN GIVES AUTHORITY OF THE BIBLE:
The Qur’an, itself, the highest authority
for all Muslims, gives authority to the
Bible, assuming its authenticity at least
up to the seventh-ninth Centuries.
Consider the following Suras:

Surah 2:136 points out that there
is no difference between the scriptures
which preceded and those of the Qur’an,
saying, “ …the revelation given to us…and
Jesus…we make no difference between
one and another of them .”

Surah 3:2-3 continues, “Allah…He sent
down the Law (of Moses) and the Gospel
(of Jesus)…as a guide to mankind .” Sura
h 4:136 carries this farther by
admonishing the Muslims to, “ …Believe…
and the scripture which He sent before
him .” In Surah 5:47,49,50,52 we
find a direct call to Christians to believe
in their scriptures:
“ …We sent Jesus, the
son of Mary, confirming the Law that had
come before him. We sent him the
Gospel… Let the people of the Gospel
judge by what Allah hath revealed
therein, if any do fail to judge by the
light of what Allah hath revealed, they
are (no better than) those who rebel…”

Again, in Surah 5:68 we find a
similar call:
“People of the Book!…Stand
fast by the law, the Gospel, and all
revelation that hath come to you from
YOUR LORD. It is the revelation that has
come to thee from THY LORD.”
To embolden this idea of the New and
Old Testament’s authority we find in Surah
10:94 that Muslims are advised to confer
with these scriptures if in doubt about
their own, saying: “If thou wert in doubt
as to what We have revealed unto thee,
then ask those who have been reading
the Book from before thee. The truth had
indeed come to thee from thy Lord .” And
as if to emphasize this point the advice is
repeated in Surah 21:7, stating;
“ …the
apostles We sent were but men, to whom
We granted inspiration. If ye realize this
not, Ask of those who possess the
message .”

Finally, in Surah 29:46 Muslims
are asked not to question the authority
of the scriptures of the Christians, saying;

“And dispute ye not with the people of
the book but say: We believe in the
revelation which has come down to us
and that which came down to you.”

If there is anything in these Suras which
is clear,it is that the Quran emphatically
endorses the Torah and the Gospel as
authentic and authoritative revelations
from God. This coincides with what
Christians believe, as well.
In fact, nowhere is there any warning in
the Qur’an that the former scriptures had
been corrupted, nor that they were
contradictory. If the Qur’an was indeed
the final and complete revelation, if it
was the seal of all former revelations the
Muslims claim, than certainly the author
of the Qur’an would have included a
warning against that which had been
corrupted in the earlier scriptures. But
nowhere do we find even a hint that the
Bible was contradictory, or indeed that it
was corrupted.

WHY WILL A FINAL REVELATION NOT GIVE WARNING OF THE CORRUPTION OF THE FORMER REVELATION?
No muslim is able to defend the quran?

OP u dnt just copy somthing from another website and paste here on NL for discussion, even my 15 year old Lil brother would give a satisfying answer to wat ur so called MATT Slick holds unto as d reason y jesus is gr8ter dan Muhammad (saw).
magnitude of miracles can no be used as a standard to judge which prophet is greater. The bible even mentioned other miracles by other prophets which where gr8ter than that of Jesus, examples below:
Jesus (ﷺ) fed thousands with a few fish and loaves of bread

Elisha fed a hundred people with twenty barley loaves and a few ears of corn (2 Kings 4:44); granted a widow such an abundant flow of oil from a jar that she was able to pay off her debts, save her sons from slavery, and live on the profits (2 Kings 4:1-7); and gave increase to a handful of flour and spot of oil such that he, a widow and her son had enough to eat for many days, after which "The bin of flour was not used up, nor did the jar of oil run dry". (1 Kings 17:10-16).

B. Jesus (ﷺ) healed the lepers

Elisha healed Naaman (2 Kings 5:7-14); for that matter, the disciples were bidden to such service in Matthew 10:8.

C. Jesus (ﷺ) cured a blind man

Elisha not only struck his enemies blind, but restored vision to the blind through prayer (2 Kings 6:17-20).

D. Jesus (ﷺ) raised the dead

Moses put life into a dead stick and transmuted it from the plant kingdom to the animal kingdom by making it into a serpent (Exodus 7:10)

Elisha raised two children from the dead (1 Kings 17:22; 2 Kings 4:34)

Elisha's bones brought a man back to life merely by coming into contact with the corpse (2 Kings 13:21)

The disciples were bidden to raise the dead (Matthew 10:cool

E. Jesus (ﷺ) walked on water

Moses (ﷺ) parted the sea.

F. Jesus (ﷺ) cast out devils

So did his disciples (Matthew 10:cool and the sons of the Pharisees (Matthew 12:27; Luke 11:19).
So OP disregard matt slick's write ups. If magnitude of miracles determine a prophets gr8tnes the jesus won't be head of when they talk of miracles.
NOTE: according to the bible. dis raises another uestion of the bible inaccuracy.
both the quran and bible indicate Jesus is the ONLY man whom God spirit is upon, NO other prophet is given this title.

All other prophet start their message like this "thus say thy Lord or the Word of God came to Me"
ONLY Jesus say VERILY VERILY I say unto you meaning He is thy Lord, The word of God that is sending the prophet.

Miracle does not proved if you are genuine man of God or prophet because even satan can empower someone to performed sign and wonders. But muhammed performed zero miracle and did not even here directly from God like the other prophet .

No one is arguing based on that, my position is that Ishmael got his share because he was the FIRSTBORN and also a seed of Abraham.

No need to mention all this nations, we're talking about Ishmael and Isaac in which God placed emphasis on!

God promises to establish his covenant with all of Abraham's "seed" without exception:

"And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.."
Genesis 17:7-8.

God now informs Abraham that his covenant shall be given through circumcision, so Abraham immediately circumcises himself and Ishmael, the father of the Arabs (Genesis 17:23), thus establishing God's covenant with Ishmael. I gave you an example of someone who says: "I love my parents" and then a few days later says "I love my mother." Does this mean that he does not love his father? After Ishmael fulfilled the covenant when Isaac wasn't even born, God then told him to fulfill it also with Isaac since he's a seed too!
yes ishmael got is shere because he was the first born and he was from Abraham seed;
Genesis 22:17
I will surely bless you and make your
descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. possession of the cities of their enemies,

This blessing was NOT talking about the prophetic race, it was talking about how God will bless Abraham seed and MULTIPLY it. And because of this ishmael is made a GREAT NATION because he was from Abraham;

Genesis 17:20
And as for Ishmael, I HAVE HEARD YOU: I will surely bless him; I will make him
fruitful and will greatly increase his
numbers. He will be the father of twelve
rulers, and I will make him into a great
nation.

The first statement from this verse say "I have heard you" meaning Abraham had to intercede for ishmael for his blessing, and God heard Abraham and bless ishmael.

But for Abraham, God gave him a special blessing. Here is it:

Genesis 17:1
The Sign of the Covenant
17 When Abram was ninety-nine years
old, the Lord appeared to Abram and
said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk
before Me and be blameless. 2 And I
will make MY COVENANT BEWEEN ME AND YOU , and will multiply you exceedingly.”

And this same covenant was established in Isaac:
And I will bless her, and give you a son
also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she
shall be a mother of nations; kings of
people shall be of her.
- Gen. 17:15-16
The covenant promises would come
through Abraham's wife (who had not yet produced a child at age 90).
Her name was to be changed to Sarah
(noblewoman) to reflect this honour.
Gen. 17:19,
But my covenant will I establish with
Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto you at this set time in the next year.

God promised a son, to be called Isaac,
exactly one year later, and through him
would the promises go. God promises that he would bless Abraham's seed as the stars of heaven and as the sand on the sea shore.
That in blessing I will bless you, and in
multiplying I will multiply your seed as
the stars of the heaven, and as the sand
which is upon the sea shore;

This blessing was established in Isaac and not ishmael.

"And when We made the House (the Kaaba) a resort for mankind and sanctuary, (saying): Take as your place of worship the place where Abraham stood (to pray). And We took a covenant with Abraham and Ishmael that they should purify My House (the Kaaba) for those who compass it round, devote themselves (to worship) in it, or bow, or prostrate themselves (therein in prayer)." (Quran 2:125)

The station in which Abraham stood to build the Kaaba is know as 'Maqam Ibrahim' which is still visible in Saudi Arabia!
according to the verse you quote "and when WE made the house a resort to mankind" the house is kabba and it was Allah who made it.

Now, how did the “House of Allah” which was “made by Allah” become a pagan temple housing 360 pagan idols? How can a House of God become a pagan Temple of Idols? Why did Allah allow this to occur to his place of worship? If the Ka’ba was the original “House of Allah” as the Qur’an asserts,
then there is absolutely no logical or
theological reason as to why Muhammad directed the first Qiblah towards Jerusalem – unless he believed that it was holier than the Ka’ba.
Muhammad destroyed the rest of the
idols at the conquest of Mecca but left
the preeminent idol of the Ka’ba – the
Black Stone – untouched. Why?

Yes! Covenant established and fulfilled!

Lie!! Now you Christians run to the Qur’an, I thought you said it was a fabricated book?! Smh. Read all my replies with Scholar8200, I've explained then we'll.

Of course the Bible wants us to believe it's all about Isaac when in fact it contradicts and shows otherwise. I'm not surprised!

The verse you quoted shows nothing as such. We Muslims believe in Isaac and in fact you're not a complete Muslim if you don't believe in Isaac. Most Prophets were from the progeny of Isaac with one from Ishmael. The covenant was fulfilled with the seed of Abraham which is Ishmael(FIRSTBORN).

Of course, if you use this criteria it applies to both of them!

Maybe God mentioned Ishmael no one knows because of how men have tampered with the Bible, Jews in Arabia said the truth about the covenant. An example is when God said "sacrifice thy only son Isaac" do you honestly think we're fools. Isaac was never the only son of Abraham, but Ishmael. This is another deliberate interpolation by the scribes and don't know where more still exist. Even this issue at ground, I can't completely win this argument because surely there are still more interpolation which would suite you all.

Muhammad(sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) never claimed to be a progeny of Isaac but Ishmael, so this is why I say it applies to Ishmael!
which Covenant God established with ishmael? If christians omit ishmael name, what about the quran? Why does it omit ishmael name?

By the time God told Abraham to sacrifice Isaac his ONLY son, God himself has already sanctions the sending away of ishmael and hagger, God had no hand in ishmael (given birth) but Isaac was the ONLY son God promised Abraham, and it was this ONLY son God told him to sacrifice. ishmael Was the FIRSTBORN but the quran omit his name from the prophetic covenant, why?the covenant is everlasting covenant,THE PROPHETIC RACE, ishmael was not included, two brother(half brother
s for that matter) cannot shere the same blessing, Isaac bless jecob but when esau pleaded for his blessing, esau was not bless, WHY? Because the both of them cannot have the same blessing.

Can you provide proof that muhammed is from the descended of ishmael? (muhammed genealogy)

The first ideal question is;
Why does a perfect god that is allegedly loving and kind still require his followers to go through the suffering routine of mutilating themselves and inflicting suffering on themselves by starving themselves?
in Christianity, fasting is not compulsory, we are only advice to make peace with God.

Luke 18:9-14
The Parable of the Pharisee and the
Tax Collector
9 To some who were confident of their
own righteousness and looked down on
everyone else, Jesus told this parable: 10 “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax
collector. 11 The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people robbers,
evildoers, adulterers—or even like this
tax collector. 12 I FAST TWICE A WEEK and give a tenth of all I get.’
13 “But the tax collector stood at a
distance. He would not even look up to
heaven, but beat his breast and said,
‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’
14 “I tell you that this man, rather than
the other, went home justified before
God. For all those who exalt themselves
will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”

Some people fast and thought their own goodness was so impressive that it could not fail to make them acceptable to God. This is boasting.
But the tax collector would not lift his eyes to heaven, why? Because he feel guilt and ashamed, and he went on and say " Lord have mercy on me a sinner" this is the prayer God want to hear, (make peace with God).

Quran 5:17

Sahih International: They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allah is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent Allah at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?" And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allah is over all things competent.

Quran 4:41-42 "How then if We brought From each People a witness, And We (Allah) brought thee As a witness against These People. On that day those who reject faith and disobey the Messenger will wish that the earth Were made one with them: But never will they hide A single fact from Allah !"
Sahih Muslim (Vol 4,
pg 1261):
Abu Huraira reported Allah's
Messenger (saw) as saying: The
satan touches every son of Adam on
the day when his mother gives
birth to him with the EXCEPTION OF
MARY AND HER SON.

Doesent this proved Jesus is the greatest among ALL ? An ordinary human cannot be adress like this, not even allah greatest prophet, muhammed.

In islam Jesus is called wa-ruhun minhu, “a spirit from him.” The same structure is used as for the Word of God: ruh (spirit), min (from), hu (him). In this case we do find some evidence in the Quran that helps us to define the title. The expression occurs again here:

These are those in whose hearts he
has inscribed faith, and
strengthened them with a spirit
from himself (Sura 58:22).

These are the same words used as in
Sura 4:171, ruhun-minhu, “a spirit from
him.” Nowhere else in the Quran does
this expression occur.In his commentary
on the Quran, Yusuf Ali says that the
“phrase used is stronger” than that for
the Holy Spirit ( Ruhul-Quds) in the Quran who is identified in Islam as the Angel Gabriel. Ali implies that this Spirit of God is greater than the mighty angel and says it is, “the divine spirit which we can no more define adequately than we can define in human language the nature and attributes of God.”

The Quran, in the very passage (Sura
4:171) which contains a denial of the
deity of Jesus (“Do not say Trinity! God is
only one God. Far be it from his glory to
have a son.”). paradoxically attributes
three titles to him which affirm his
deity! He is the Anointed Son of God/
Messiah; he is the divine Word of God,
and he is a Spirit coming from God.

Jesus was not just another prophet
called to office at an appropriate point
in time. He is the message of God, he
came from God, his very spirit is the
Spirit of God.
In fact, not only does the Quran affirm
the deity of Jesus,it affirms the
Christian understanding of the Trinity
by its use of the expression ruhun-
minhu! Yusaf Ali freely concedes that this is no created spirit of which the book teaches but the divine spirit, which comes from God, and must be defined in the same terms as God.

Twice the Quran uses the expression, once for Jesus Christ, and once for the Spirit which comes from God (and strengthens believers), and must be defined in the same terms as God. A closer definition of the Trinity you could hardly hope to find. Sura 58:22 defines the Spirit of God in terms synonymous with those applied to the Holy Spirit in the Bible and Sura 4:171 expressly nominates Jesus in the same terms.

Demmzy15:
God's covenant was 'circumcision' and this was done to Ishmael and other men in the household of Abraham, many years before Isaac was even born!

"This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.
And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you."

Genesis 17:10-11

So Abraham immediately circumcises himself and Ishmael, the father of the Arabs (Genesis 17:23), thus establishing God's covenant with Ishmael.

You should know that this covenant was applied to Isaac but it was fulfilled through Ishmael!
which covenant God established with Isaac?
Genesis 17:23
On that very day Abraham took his son
Ishmael and all those born in his
household or bought with his money,
every male in his household, and
circumcised them, as God told him.

Abraham circumcised ishmael as God told him mean God established his covenant with him? Both the quran and bible say the covenant God established with Isaac is the PROPHETIC RACE,

Psalms 105:7-10: “He is Jehovah our
God. His judgement are in all the
earth. He has remembered his
covenant even forever, the word
which he commanded to a thousand
generations, the covenant which he
concluded with Abraham, And his
sworn statement to Isaac, And which
statement he kept standing as a
statue even to Jacob, As an
EVERLASTING COVENANT to Israel.”

Surah 29:27: And (as for Abraham),
We bestowed upon him Isaac and
(Isaac’s son) Jacob, and caused
prophethood and revelation to
continue among his offspring.

The covenant is everlasting one and it's a prophetic covenant, and this covenant continue in his OFFSPRING

If Allah intends to include Ishmael, his name would be placed before Isaac, as he was older than Isaac by fourteen years. Muhammed cannot be a descended of Isaac and at the same time ishmael.

1. At what point did the people corrupted
the Torah and Injeel, was it before islam,
during Muhammad's time of after him?
2. If it was before islam, why would Allah
refer Muhammad to something that is
corrupted to make confirmation?
3. If it was after Muhamad had died, how
was he able to receive the revelation that
the Scripture (Torah and Injeel) had been
corrupted?
4. The quran confirms that the Scripture
was a clear proof in writings. This means
there were copies in circulation. How
possible all copies vanished without
anyone having a copy anywhere? You

5. Why would God be so weak as to allow

experience?
I put it to you the Bible is the Torah and
Injeel put in one Book.
kheart, I know you cannot answer this questions I ask, if you cannot answer it, then why do you still chose to remain in deception? Hear what Jesus say;

Revelation 3:20
'Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the
door, I will come in to him and will dine
with him, and he with Me.

What is the door? Well, actually the question should be made more specific.
Jesus is not just talking about a door. He
is talking about a door which is initially CLOSED. This is a closed door which is both keeping us IN, and keeping Jesus OUT. It is a barrier separating us. But once the door is opened, then it is no longer a barrier. It is then a gateway. It is a point of entry. So here we have a closed door which is a barrier. But IF any
one will open it, it is no longer a barrier.
It is then a gateway. That which keeps Jesus out then becomes the means by which He enters our lives.
So what IS this door? Well, it is the gateway to our hearts. It is the gateway to our lives. And WE determine whether to open it. WE do. Not Jesus. WE alone must make that choice.

Thank you . Bye.

1.surah 10:94 "And if thou wert in doubt as to what We have revealed unto thee, then ask those who have been reading the book from before
thee..." .
"Those who have been reading the book from before thee" are Jews and Christians who read the Torah and the Injil (Gospel)! If they were reading corrupted holy books, their minds would have been influenced by many misconceptions. It would therefore make no sense for Allah to command those who are in doubt to ask Jews and Christians who allegedly were misled by changed Scriptures! In order to follow the mandate in this verse it is absolutely necessary to believe that the Scriptures before Islam are uncorrupted!
When did the bible corrupted?
2. More than tewnty quranic verse , when muhammed is ask to performed miracle here the excuse he give:
Surah 17:90-93:
They said, “We will not believe you
unless you cause a spring to gush out of the ground.“Or unless you own a garden of date palms and grapes, with rivers running through it.“Or unless you cause
masses from the sky, as you claimed, to
fall on us. Or unless you bring GOD and the angels before our eyes. “Or unless you own a luxurious mansion, or unless you climb into the sky. Even if you do climb, we will not believe unless you bring a book that we can read.” Say, “Glory be to my Lord. AM I ANY MORE THAN A HUMAN MESSENGER?” (Khalifa)
3.Both the Qur’an and the Bible tell us very
clearly that Jesus had no human father.
We must therefore ask ourselves this
vital question, “Since Jesus is addressed
as a ‘son’ by the angel Gabriel both in
the Qur’an (Surah 19:19) and in the Bible
(Luke 1:35), whose son is he?”
Is it Mary’s? In Surah 19:19, the angel
Gabriel said to Mary: “I am only a
messenger of thy Lord, to announce to
thee the GIFT of a holy son .” Here,
Gabriel refers to a son who was to be
given as a “gift” by God to Mary. Since
the Qur’an makes it very clear that the
son is a gift from God, it shows that Mary
was only the recipient of that gift. She is
not the source of that gift but God. The
gift belongs to God. The gift was a son.
Therefore, the son belongs to God
which means the son was His or His
son. In other words, God’s son. This
testifies to the Gospel truth that Jesus is
the SON OF GOD. Christians worship ONE GOD with three personalities, genesis 1:27 say let US create man in OUR IMAGE >>image indicate ONE GOD and the US indicate more than ONE essence.the quran use plurality like WE, US and OUR . Can you explained?
4. Surah 19:33: Peace on me the day I
was born, and the day I die, and the
day I shall be raised alive! (Pickthall)
The chronological sequence of event is understood here.BORN, DIE,RESSURECT and the same phrase is use for John the baptist here, Note the similarity in the
wordings:
Surah 19:15: And peace on him on
the day he was born, and on the day
he dies, and on the day he is raised
to life. (Shakir)
If Jesus did not die, then John also did not die, will John came back again and die?[/quote]
