kheart:I ask you to produce from the quran and you are given me verses from the bible concerning the message of Jesus. Is it not the same bible you are claiming is corrupted? The bible is 66 books and has more than 40 author and it was writing over a period of 1500 years. Nobody work with Jesus. the gospel is about Jesus. Jesus did not speak His own words, but the words that the Father gave Him. John12:49-50 12:49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. 12:50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak. His message was not primarily about Himself, but rather the good news that the Father ordained to be announced on earth. John 14:24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is NOT MINE, but the Father's which sent me. Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. The inspired Word of God makes it abundantly plain: The "good news" that Jesus Christ brought was about the Kingdom of God! The "gospel of Jesus Christ" is simply the message of good news that Jesus preached not a message about Jesus. It is not primarily a message about the events in His life. The announcement of "good news" the very best news that could be heard today which the Father gave through Jesus Christ, was about His Kingdom being established on earth. Still waiting for the answer to my questions. |
kheart:what is this? Quran a miracle? What about Shakespeare? Is Shakespeare a miracle?you claim the bible is corrupt but you believe the part that talk about false prophet( we know muhammed is a false prophet) Were in the quran muhammed claims, he came to fullfiled Jesus message? What did Jesus preach? Can you provide from the quran, the message Jesus preach? Jesus is the greatest prophet, but you kill people when muhammed is insulted and ignored it when Jesus is insulted. Allah did not empower Jesus to performed miracle because long before Jesus step foot on this universe, Allah had stop sending sign. Read hear https://www.nairaland.com/1970166/lying-deity You still don't want to answer my questions? When was the bible corrupted? Can you explained the plurality in the quran? The "WE" "US" and"OUR". Will John the baptist come back again and die? |

Confirmer:bible never mention Abraham as a prophet. Abraham married Sarah and God promised them a child, but Sarah notice they are growing older and she convinced Abraham to take hagger as his wife.is this hard for you to understand? Galatians 4:28:30 28And you brethren, like Isaac, are children of promise. 29But as at that time he who was born according to the flesh persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, so it is now also. 30But what does the Scripture say? "CAST OUT THE BONDWOMAN AND HER SON, FOR THE SON OF THE BONDWOMAN SHALL NOT BE AN HEIR WITH THE SON OF THE FREE WOMAN." |
Confirmer:Abraham a prophet? Hmmm. Abraham abide by the promised made by God, it was Sarah who convinced him to take hagger as his wife.God had NO hand in hagger engaged to Abraham. |
Confirmer:God approved of Abraham married to Sarah. But that of Abraham and hagger was like when someone loose patience to God and he seek his own idea.(remember God had promised Abraham a son "Isaac" so when Sarah loose patience with God, she comes up with here own idea. |
klbakare:don't mind him bro, he ask questions as if he is ready for debate, but when he got reply, he gave a lame excuse. |
DravenCreighton:in other word ,You don't know because the quran never provide All the story. |
The quran did not give details about everything, Jesus did not even speak His own word in the quran. |
DravenCreighton:who was sacrificed? Isaac or ishmael ? |
Samunique:the Lord is our strength bro. May God bless you for this wonderful word of encouragement. Thank you. |
johnydon22:ALL the little onse who could not make moral decision will go to heaven. |
johnydon22:as long as the children are in the age of reasoning were they are capable of making decisions, YET they stick with deception. |
johnydon22:If people grow up in a culture that accepts things like murder and rape, very few will listen to their conscience and go against what everyone else says.Children learn wrong things from their parents and the surrounding culture; as they mature, they become part of the culture and perpetuate it by participating in it and passing on its teachings to their children In the destruction of Jericho, Rahab and her family were spared because she feared God and chose to help the Israelites ( Josh 2:1-21, 6:22-25). Before the Amalekites were destroyed, their righteous neighbors were warned to move away ( 1 Sam 15:5-6). 1 Samuel 15:5-6 5 Saul went to the city of Amalek and set an ambush in the ravine. 6 Then he said to the Kenites, “Go away, leave the Amalekites so that I do not destroy you along with them; for you showed kindness to all the Israelites when they came up out of Egypt.” So the Kenites moved away from the Amalekites. |
plaetton:if God had rain brimstone and fire on boko haram. thousands years later someone like you will say God commit Genocide by killing boko haram. Smh |
johnydon22:did you read what I type? 400 years is not enough to repent? " After four generations your descendants will return here to this land, when the SIN of the Amorites has run ITS COURSE ." - Genesis 15:16 And through Out the old testament God keep reminding them of His judgment, from genesis down to the book of judges The problem begin during the exedus era in the desert, they attack the isrealite without any course, that were it all STARTED, for the isrealite had not even settle down as a nation; Deuteronomy 25:17-18 17 Remember what the Amalekites did to you along the way when you came out of Egypt. 18 When you were weary and worn out, they met you on your journey and attacked all who were lagging behind; they had no fear of God. And again they latter attack the isrealite during the time of judges; Judges 3:13 13 Getting the Ammonites and Amalekites to join him, Eglon came and attacked Israel, and they took possession of the City of Palms And through out that time the amalikites always invade the isrealite crop and stole there food and killed there children. God punished the Amalekites by ordering Saul to destroy them ( 1 Sam 15:2-3) - over 400 years after they had first attacked Israel. During that time, the Amalekites had contact with the Israelites and would have heard about God. They could have repented and changed their ways, but they continued to raid and plunder other cities up to the time of Saul and David (1 Sam 30:1-3) And listen to me very careful; Exedus 17:14-16 The LORD said to Moses, "Write this on a scroll as something to be remembered and make sure that Joshua hears it, because I will completely blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven." Moses built an altar and called it The LORD is my Banner. He said, "For hands were lifted up to the throne of the LORD. The LORD will be at war against the Amalekites from generation to generation." "Blot out the memory of Amalek" refers to the extinction of the descendents of Amalek. Clearly God was not referring to the world's knowledge that Amalek existed, else he would not have commanded the Amalekites' defeat to be recorded. He wanted the incidents to be remembered, so that future generations would realize that God, not the Israelites, defeated the Amalekites and avenged their unjust treatment of others. So BE WARN!!! |
plaetton:God is the creator of heaven and earth and He will do what He say he will do.what do you understand by the word genocide? Genocide, murder or any killing that is not necessary to defend another person's life is not justified. I provide a verse were it say this people sacrifice there sons and daughters to other gods,as a matter of fact, God had warn them long before in genesis but they refused to heed to his warning. You guys are very good in Exaggeration of Christian Evil, but you people always fail to provide the whole story. God had patiently waited over 400 years until the Canaanites would be ripe for judgment (Genesis 15:16) |
Medicis:bro, honestly, I am enjoying myself. Thank you for your comment also, they are excellent. God bless you friend. |
plaetton:you talk as if you are too nice and good, ok. Christians are killing and causing harm, what have you don about this? Just to seat down and type rubbish, throw insult and your ignorants atheists friends likes your post!!! More like an internet bully, accused God of killing, how many life have you save? I can confidently say I risk my life in saving someone and the person don't even know what I did for him, since 1994 today is the second time I am saying this. Am not boasting but they way you (pleatton) say things here on nairaland, is like you are the best and innocent gentle man and ALL other religious people are bad, they are subjected to you. Sorry if you take this as an insult, if I did not say this , none of your atheists friends will have the guts to tell you. But above all, I know you are nice sha. |
kheart:1.surah 10:94 "And if thou wert in doubt as to what We have revealed unto thee, then ask those who have been reading the book from before thee..." . "Those who have been reading the book from before thee" are Jews and Christians who read the Torah and the Injil (Gospel)! If they were reading corrupted holy books, their minds would have been influenced by many misconceptions. It would therefore make no sense for Allah to command those who are in doubt to ask Jews and Christians who allegedly were misled by changed Scriptures! In order to follow the mandate in this verse it is absolutely necessary to believe that the Scriptures before Islam are uncorrupted! When did the bible corrupted? 2. More than tewnty quranic verse , when muhammed is ask to performed miracle here the excuse he give: Surah 17:90-93: They said, “We will not believe you unless you cause a spring to gush out of the ground.“Or unless you own a garden of date palms and grapes, with rivers running through it.“Or unless you cause masses from the sky, as you claimed, to fall on us. Or unless you bring GOD and the angels before our eyes. “Or unless you own a luxurious mansion, or unless you climb into the sky. Even if you do climb, we will not believe unless you bring a book that we can read.” Say, “Glory be to my Lord. AM I ANY MORE THAN A HUMAN MESSENGER?” (Khalifa) 3.Both the Qur’an and the Bible tell us very clearly that Jesus had no human father. We must therefore ask ourselves this vital question, “Since Jesus is addressed as a ‘son’ by the angel Gabriel both in the Qur’an (Surah 19:19) and in the Bible (Luke 1:35), whose son is he?” Is it Mary’s? In Surah 19:19, the angel Gabriel said to Mary: “I am only a messenger of thy Lord, to announce to thee the GIFT of a holy son .” Here, Gabriel refers to a son who was to be given as a “gift” by God to Mary. Since the Qur’an makes it very clear that the son is a gift from God, it shows that Mary was only the recipient of that gift. She is not the source of that gift but God. The gift belongs to God. The gift was a son. Therefore, the son belongs to God which means the son was His or His son. In other words, God’s son. This testifies to the Gospel truth that Jesus is the SON OF GOD. Christians worship ONE GOD with three personalities, genesis 1:27 say let US create man in OUR IMAGE >>image indicate ONE GOD and the US indicate more than ONE essence.the quran use plurality like WE, US and OUR . Can you explained? 4. Surah 19:33: Peace on me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive! (Pickthall) The chronological sequence of event is understood here.BORN, DIE,RESSURECT and the same phrase is use for John the baptist here, Note the similarity in the wordings: Surah 19:15: And peace on him on the day he was born, and on the day he dies, and on the day he is raised to life. (Shakir) If Jesus did not die, then John also did not die, will John came back again and die? |
Rilwayne001:In order to maintain His righteousness, God must judge sin - everything that goes against His character. Deuteronomy 9:5 "It is NOT for your righteousness or for the uprightness of your heart that you are going to possess their land, but it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the LORD your God is driving them OUT before you, in order to confirm the oath which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. How wicked are this people? Deuteronomy12:31 You shall not behave thus toward the LORD your God, for every abominable act which the LORD hates they have done for their gods; for they even burn their sons and daughters in the fire to their gods. The wickedness of these people is confirmed in other verses of the Bible. |
plaetton:No christian will take you serious because you did not highlights your claims. You create this thread just to mock the "Joseph story" in the bible. |

intergral:not even muhammed close companion bear witness of muhammed allegedly calling. |
Rilwayne001:to your door step: Surah 5:Verse 116, And behold! Allah will say: O Jesus the son of Mary! Didst thou say unto men, "WORSHIP ME AND MY MOTHER as gods in derogation of Allah?" He (Jesus) will say, [ a ]"Glory to thee! Never could I say what I had no right (to say)... [ b ] (Jesus speaks) Thou knowest what is in my heart though I know not what is in thine..." Verse 118, (Regarding how God should deal with Christians, Jesus is supposed to have said) [ c ] "If thou dost punish them, they are thy servants: If thou dost forgive them, thou art the exalted in power and wise." Jesus NEVER FOR ONCE told anyone to worship Mary, nor did the early church do so. Not even peter when Jesus say on the cross "behold thy mother" make reference to Mary in his epistle in regards to worshiping Mary infacte, Paul, James ,Timothy, and the rest apostles do not even made mention of Mary in there epistles, where do muhammed get the idea that christians worship Mary ? And in surah 5:118. It says: "If thou dost punish them, they are thy servants: If thou dost forgive them, thou art the exalted in power and wise." Jesus would not teach that God could forgive those who add to, or take away from, his Word, when we read that God had already condemned them in Revelation 22. Muhammed has Jesus saying, in Al Koran, Sura 5:118 "If thou dost forgive them, thou art the exalted in power and wise." God will not forgive those who add to, or take away from, his Word. Muhammed then must have added verse 118 out of his fertile imagination, or perhaps he was trying to cover for himself in the future judgment. |
kinggenesis:now that I have debunked this thread, take a look at this: https://www.nairaland.com/2381817/contradictions-analyzed-bible-quran https://www.nairaland.com/2408973/explanation-wanted https://www.nairaland.com/2376542/two-question https://www.nairaland.com/2374316/which-one-correct https://www.nairaland.com/1970166/lying-deity |
Rilwayne001:why are mine not surprise!!! In your opinion, NUMBERS matter the most with God and not GENUINE FAITH. Many are called but FEW are chosen. View the thread and see how your fellow muslims fail woefully!!! |
Rilwayne001:NO, if you cannot convinced me, you can convinced other muslims who are reading. If the holy spirit convict the catholic, he is a sinner and needed the mercy of God, but the catholic refused to heed to the warning, do you think the spirit will imposed His will on him (the catholic)? |
Rilwayne001:you have nothing to say there. |
Rilwayne001:how do you guys reason at time? Did you read comment with blind mind? The eye is of no used when the mind is blind. I am a criminal but God will not force me to give it up, He will convict me that what I am doing is wrong. God has already declared us righteous, but WE must WORK to live what God has already declared us to be. |
kinggenesis:http://www.gotquestions.org/David-census.html The parallel account of the incident surrounding the census reveals it was Satan who incited David to take the census: “Satan rose up against Israel and incited David to take a census of Israel” ( 1 Chronicles 21:1). However, the wording of 2 Samuel 24:1 says that it was God who “moved David” to take the census. This discrepancy can be explained by the understanding that sometimes God sovereignly permits Satan to act in order to achieve His purposes. God uses Satan in various ways, among them the refining, disciplining and purification of disobedient believers ( Luke 22:31-32; 1 Corinthians 5:1-5; 2 Corinthians 12:7-10). Such is the case with David. God allowed Satan to tempt him, and David sinned, revealing his pride and allowing God to deal with him for it. As to why God was angry at David, in those times, a man only had the right to count or number what belonged to him. Israel did not belong to David; Israel belonged to God. In Exodus 30:12 God told Moses, “When you take a census of the Israelites to count them, each one must pay the LORD a ransom for his life at the time he is counted. Then no plague will come on them when you number them.” It was up to God to command a census, and if David counted he should only do it at God's command, receiving a ransom to "atone" for the counting. This is why God was angry again with Israel and is also why David was “conscience-stricken” after he counted Israel. David knew it was wrong and begged God to take away the guilt of his sin ( 2 Samuel 24:10). God gave David a choice of three punishments for his sin—three years of famine, three months of fleeing before his enemies, or three days of plague. David chose the third, and the Lord then punished Israel with a plague which killed 70,000 men from Dan in the north to Beersheba in the south. As for why God punished the whole nation for the sin of the king, that is exactly the question David asked in v. 17. Why, when he was the one who had sinned, did the people have to suffer? He even requested that God’s hand be against him and his family only, and that God would spare the people. But as with the account of Job, God chose not to give a reason for His actions. Perhaps it was because of Israel’s multiplied sins and rebellion against God throughout the centuries. Perhaps it was a lesson to the people (and to us as well) that the people suffer when their leaders go astray. The reality is that God didn’t justify His actions with a reason, nor does He have to. The psalmist tells us, “As for God, His way is perfect” ( Psalm 18:30). If God’s ways are “perfect,” then we can trust that whatever He does—and whatever He allows—is also perfect. This may not seem possible to us, but our minds are not God’s mind. It is true that we can’t expect to understand His mind perfectly, as He reminds us “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts” ( Isaiah 55:8-9). Nevertheless, our responsibility to God is to obey Him, to trust Him and to submit to His will, whether we understand it or not. As we see in 2 Samuel 24:16 God was grieved because of the things that were happening to His people and called off the punishment. Even through His rebuke God still shows His love and mercy. |
