After all, you believe they are sinners, aren't they? let me explained myself again, the spirit don't override someone decision, if your decision is to abandoned your believe in God, there will be thought in your mind that will keep on saying, "are you doing the wrong or right thing?" this is how the spirit convict you. |

sexynabila: my bothet i tire too...d one dat got me confused d most, was d one jesus said dt , he has not come to abolished the law of d prophet but to fulfill it...wat abt dt particular law of d prophet dat says "an eye for an eye"....but jesus instructed us dt if are been slapped we shuld turn d other side to be slapped....so dnt understnd how dis two laws fulfill each other... Jesus explained that the moral commandments were not to be followed merely to the letter of the law, but also to the intent of the law. So, it was not enough to abstain from adultery, but God required that one not even look on a woman with lust (Matthew 5:27-28). Likewise,it is not enough to abstain from murder, but God requires that nobody hate another without cause, with calling another person "a fool" making one guilty enough to suffer the judgment of Hell (Matthew 5:21-22). So God's laws require not only perfect performance, but also perfect attitude and motive. When Jesus is said to have fulfilled the law, it means that>>>> HE PERFECTLY KEPT THE LAW AND HE IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE TO FOLLOW, AND NEVER SINNED |

Why the contraction? The Greek word for "hear" (#191 akouo) is used in two Greek cases in these two verses. The genitive case is the sense of "being aware but not understanding", whereas the other is in the sense of "you heard it." |

EXO 24:9,10; AMO 9:1; GEN 26:2; and JOH 14:9
God CAN be seen:
"And I will take away my hand, and thou shalt see my backparts." (EXO 33:23)
"And the Lord spake to Moses face to face, as a man speaketh to his friend." (EXO 33:11)
"For I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved." (GEN 32:30)
God CANNOT be seen:
"No man hath seen God at any time." (JOH 1:18)
"And he said, Thou canst not see my face; for there shall no man see me and live." (EXO 33:20)
"Whom no man hath seen nor can see." (1TIM 6:16) God didn't literally talk face to face with Moses, for no man can see God's face and live (Exodus 33:20). This is a figurative expression intended to convey the intimacy of their relationship that is captured in the phrase,"as a man speaketh unto his friend" (verse 11). Exodus 33:11 intimates not only that God revealed himself to Moses with greater clearness than to any other of the prophets, but also with greater expressions of particular kindness than to any other. He spake not as a prince to a subject, but as a man to his friend, whom he loves, and with whom he takes sweet counsel. The communications made by God to Moses were not by visions, ecstacies, dreams, inward inspirations, or the mediation of angels, but with familiarity and confidence with which the Divine Being treated his servant. |

MAT 1:16 And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ. LUK 3:23 And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli.
This contradiction has to do only with the father of Joseph, not with the father of Jesus. you don't understand the bible, God of war and peace, and you called this contradiction? Ok here is more: God is a God of wrath and a God of lovingkindness. God is a God of life and a God of death. What makes the difference between God being a God of peace and a God of war? How incredibly great is that blindness, that darkness, that makes a person think that a God of peace and a God of war is a contradiction. Matthew gives the genealogy of Joseph and Luke gives that of Mary, making Jacob the father of Joseph and Heli the father of Mary. This is shown by the two narrations of the virgin birth. Matthew 1:18-25 tells the story only from Joseph’s perspective, while Luke 1:26-56 is told wholly from Mary’s point of view. A logical question to ask is why Joseph is mentioned in both genealogies? The answer is again simple. Luke follows strict Hebrew tradition in mentioning only males. Therefore, in this case, Mary is designated by her husband’s name. By His grace, I will attend to ALL you false allegations against God's word. |

Christianity Etc › Re: What Christianity Teaches! God Hate Religion. by malvisguy212(op): 11:17pm On Jun 27, 2015 |
malvisguy212: In its broadest sense, Christianity is a religion based upon the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, who lived in Palestine during the first century. However, if Christianity is lived as merely a set of teachings and rules to be followed, it misses the main points that Jesus taught. First and foremost, Christianity is anchored in love, God's love for us and our response to that love.
WHY RELIGION? Many skeptics think that religion is a waste of time or worse. I tend to agree. I am a Christian, but I don't consider myself a particularly religious person. Christianity is much more than just religion.Someone may be thinking “I thought God invented religion!” Sorry, but God invented Man and Man invented religion.
God created Man for the express purpose of mutual relationship with him, but gave Man the power of choice and free will. Man chose to break that relationship and has been trying to find his own way by inventing religions and cults of all kinds in an effort to replace that void left by lack of relationship with his Creator.
But relationship with God cannot be found through religion. In fact, religion is the biggest roadblock to seeking a relationship with God. Religion is simply Man trying to reach out to God by doing something that he thinks will please God.
“If I can do enough, say enough, pray enough, give enough, sacrifice enough perhaps God will show me favor”. Every religion is based upon this “WORKS theology”. Neither ceremony, liturgy, creeds, sacraments nor money have ever brought one soul into a reconciled relationship to God.
TEACHING OF JESUS. Although Jesus did not teach anything radically different from that of the Old Testament, He simplified the main points so that people could not escape into a pure exercise of religious ceremonies. The Old Testament describes many laws (both moral and ceremonial) that were to be followed by the people of God. With so many laws, people tended to become SELECTIVE, preferring to follow the easier ceremonial laws over the more difficult moral laws (Matthew 23:23). The religious ruling class was especially susceptible to selective obedience of the law, resulting in moral hypocrisy. Jesus explained that the moral commandments were not to be followed merely to the letter of the law, but also to the intent of the law. So, it was not enough to abstain from adultery, but God required that one not even look on a woman with lust (Matthew 5:27-28). Likewise, it is not enough to abstain from murder, but God requires that nobody hate another without cause, with calling another person "a fool" making one guilty enough to suffer the judgment of Hell (Matthew 5:21-22). So God's laws require not only perfect performance, but also perfect attitude and motive. Jesus said the entire law of God could be summarized into a mere two commands:
Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." (Matthew 22:37-40)
Isaiah 1:13-14 states, “Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and Sabbaths, the calling of assemblies… it is iniquity…Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.”
David prays to God in Psalm 40:6, “Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire;…Burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.”
Amos 5:21 says, “I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell (the odors of their sacrifices) in your solemn assemblies.”
Micah 6:6-8 includes; “Wherewith shall I come before the Lord and bow myself before the high God? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old? Will the lord be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? He hath showed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God.”
And there it is: “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.” James 4:10.
You see, the Israelites (Jews) of the Old Testament had forgotten the relationship with God and became dependent upon the religious system of works and sacrifice and offerings expecting spiritual redemption or to appease God. But in these passages we see God Himself saying, “I don’t care how you shake and dance, I’m not interested in your religious activities, I want your heart.” In fact that is exactly what He expresses here in Isaiah 29:13,
“ Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honor me, but have removed their heart far from me …”(Jesus quoted this passage in Matt. 15:8-9 adding “…in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men .”) Imagine a pyramid which represents religion. The base is guilt, upon which is laid fear. Religion uses guilt and fear to incite works to appease which when applied results in pride.
SO, FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES THAT DEFINED THE CHRISTIANS EXPERIENCE IS LOVE; love of God and love of our fellow human beings. So, a person who merely loves his fellow man is only fulfilling half of the law, and is neglecting what Jesus said was the most important part loving God. |

malvisguy212: Luke 10:29-37 (emphasis added by me)
…so he asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?” 30 In reply Jesus said: “A GAY man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. 31 A CHRISTIAN priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. 32 So too, a (BORN AGAIN BELIEVER) Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. 33 But an ATHEIST, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. 34 He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the GAY man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. 35 The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’ 36 “Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?” 37 The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.” Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”
I think we have missed our opportunity to love our neighbors. And I believe that atheists namely have taken the place where Christians should have been in the first place. May be some of us doesent hate gay.Sure. But do you love them as much as you love yourself? You say I do not hate them but you do not help them either. The same way you may help a fellow in your church who has a habit of lying.
Being Gay is sinful,YES.Well, newsflash! so is lying, cheating, cursing, arrogance, drinking, wrathful, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, envy, murder, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, being without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful.
I think some Christians have become too much holy to realize their error. When the gay community was bashed or persecuted they stood on the side rails and watched in silence. They could have helped but they didn’t because being Gay was unacceptable to them. They fulfill the part of the priest in the above parable.
And some of the Christians who really felt like they should have helped but didn’t are equally wrong because they mistook grace as legalism in the dogmatic form. They are the Levis’ – the chosen people of God, the born again believers, who looked on the poor gay but then turned their heads and walked on.
And finally the atheist stood up and got the gay person some help. Well, I certainly applaud them on this.
Bottom line. Gays are there, if we do not help them, someone will but we would be directly opposing the spirit of love and grace if we didn’t. Regardless of whether you believe homosexuality is a sin or not, remember this, if it is a sin, it is no greater than any other sin, it is certainly not the UNPARDONABLE sin.
Matthew 26:36-40 36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment…?” 37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your (GAY) neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” Happy Sunday. |

malvisguy212: Genesis 5 Genesis 5 contains the genealogy of Adam to Noah (Excluding Shem, Ham, and Japheth). This contains Adam, Seth, Enos, Cainan, Mahalaleel, Jared, Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech, and Noah. If you look at the meaning of those names Adam - Man (Note: First man) Seth - Appointed (Note: Israel descends from him) Enos - Mortal Cainan - Sorrow Mahlaleel - The blessed God Jared - Shall come down Enoch - Teaching Methuselah - His death shall bring (Note:Methuselah died in the same year the flood happened) Lamech - The despairing Noah - Rest/Comfort (Note: "Rest"is often tied to Salvation in the Bible)
Put that together: Man appointed moral sorrow. The blessed God shall came down teaching his death shall bring the despairing comfort/rest. Meaning, man is bound to be mortal and have sorrow, and God will come down teaching people his death will bring the sorrowful salvation (See what I said about Noah). Genesis 22: 22:1-2 - "And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of." 1) It's not that Isaac was his only Son, but he was the son of God's covenant, and was the only Son with Abraham at the time. Anyways, Abraham is going to give up his "only" Son . It's in the same way Adam was the "son of God", but Jesus was the only "Begotten" Son of God. 2) Moriah is where Jerusalem was in the future. Part of verse 3 - "And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass" When Jesus entered Jerusalem (Again, Moriah is where Jerusalem was to be), he was riding an Ass/ Donkey. Verse 4 - "Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off." Jesus died in Jerusalem (Moriah), and rose the third day. Verse 5 - "And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you." Abraham, knowing full well what he was going to do to Isaac, implied that he was going to come back with Isaac. He was either lying (He was a godly man, though) , wasn't actually going to do it (Obviously not true, look at verse 10), or thought he was going to rise from the dead (Like Jesus actually did, in the same area Abraham was at at the time) Verse 8 - "And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together." An2elect2: Romans 9:11-16 King James Version (KJV) (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. [bSo then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.[/b]
We who are believers know men do not produce the faith that is wrought in our hearts unto salvation Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. calvanist doctrine you are teaching here, the verse you quote does seem to speak of predestined individuals, but in truth, it is not speaking of individuals, but NATION . Malachi 1:2-5 To this the Lord answers, "Was not Esau Jacob’s brother? YET I LOVE JACOB AND HATED ESAU , and laid HIS MOUNTAIN and his HERITAGE WASTE for the dragons of the WILDERNESS. Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the DESOLATE places; thus saith the Lord of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the Lord hath indignation for ever. And your eyes shall see, and ye shall say, The Lord will be magnified from the BORDER OF ISREAL" The prophet malchi does NOT speak of Jacob and esau as A PERSON,but of their respective posterities(people of the future) . For it was not Esau in person that said, "WE are impoverished;neither were his mountains nor heritage laid waste." Now, if the prophet Malchi speaks neither of the person of the one nor of the person of the other, but of their posterity only, then it is evident that the apostle Paul speaks of them in the same way. Infacte let me quote from the Roman 9:12-13: Romans 9:12, "It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger." Romans 9:13, "As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated." LET US ANALYZE THIS: Verse 12 "the elder shall serve the younger" Jacob NEVER did exercise any power over Esau, nor was Esau ever subject to him. Jacob, on the contrary, was rather subject to Esau, and was sorely afraid of him. verse 13 "Jacob have I love and esau have I hate" As I explained before, this verse was talking about NATION and not PERSON. When did esau become a reprobate NATION? This is the message verse 13 is saying: He chose the Jewish people from all others, and revealed himself to them. Thus they were the elect, and all the nations of mankind reprobate. When the fullness of the time came he revealed himself also to the Gentiles, who gladly received the Gospel: and the Jews rejecting it, were cast off. Thus the elect became reprobate, and the reprobate, elect. The Jews, the descendants of Jacob, who rejected the salvation of Christ, became precisely like the Edomites, the descendants of Esau; they builded, but God pulled down; their mountains and heritage are now laid waste for the dragons of the wilderness; and they properly may now be called the border of wickedness, a people against whom the Lord hath indignation for ever: they have rejected the Lord that bought them, and so have brought upon themselves swift destruction. Exactly what malchi is saying. Thank you. |

Confirmer: Please kindly give me an explicit verse in the bible where God didn't recognise Ishmael as Abraham's son or where God didn't sanction Abraham union with Hagar. In Genesis 16:15 Ishmael was explicit recognised as Abraham's son "And Hagar bare Abram a SON:and Abram called his SON's name, which Hagar bare, Ishmael". Kindly stay on the bible where you have some knowledge because Ismael is well recognised in the Quran along with Isiaq. We make no distinction between the prophets of Allah. when I say God did not recognized ishmael, I was referring to the blood line of the messiah(the prophetic race) God don't recognized ishmael there, it all about Isaac that lead to a type of christ. Cain is the firstborn, of the two Abel is last. But Abel's offering is accepted and Cain's is rejected. Ishmael is the firstborn, of the two Isaac is last. But Ishmael is rejected as the Messiah's lineage and Isaac is accepted. Esau is the firstborn, Jacob is last. But Esau is rejected and Jacob is accepted. And there are more ... like David ... the youngest son rejected by his brothers and father but who ended up in the Messiah's bloodline etc. Isaac is the only son of the promise, the covenant. He's the only son born from the faith in the promise that God gave Abraham. He's the only son who could receive his birthright. Ishmael was what happened when Sarah and Abraham decided that God wasn't making good on His promise quickly enough and they decided to speed things up a bit. |

mistabiola: While it is true that most Christians TODAY do not worship Mary, but MANY heretical Christians THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAD DONE SO.
Regarding Sura 5 Verse 116 : "And behold! Allah will say: O Jesus the son of Mary! Didst thou say unto men, Take me and my mother for two gods beside Allah? He will say: Glory to Thee! Never could I say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, Thou wouldst indeed have known it. Thou knowest what is in my heart, though I know not what is in Thine. For Thou knowest in full all that is hidden."
The above question will be put to Jesus(peace be upon him)on the DAY OF JUDGEMENT. And the purpose of Sura 5 Verse 116 is to answer ALL the Christians THROUGHOUT the entire history of Christianity. Let us not forget that ALL mankind since the beginning of time will be resurrected on the Day of Judgement. Therefore it is only logical to answer the dilemma faced, not only by the Christians in our present era but by all Christians throughout the history of Christianity.
Let us also not forget that Christianity has never been a united religion and will never be. On the contrary, it has always been a totally divided religion. Just read the history of Christianity and you will know. What one Church teaches is significantly different from what another Church teaches.
That is why Sura 5 Verse 116 states :
"And behold ... Didst thou say unto men, Take me( to answer all the Christians throughout history ) and my mother ( to answer those Christians in history who worshipped Mary )for two gods beside Allah?" I hope the points I just made above will put to rest once and for all the Christian accusation that our Holy Qur'an mistakes Mary as part of the Trinity. in Sura 5:Verse 116 Allah was asking Jesus a questions "Didst thou say unto men, "Worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of Allah?" muhammed had influence from some christians sect (maby the catholic) because Jesus never ask his follower to worship Mary. And the verse went All the way to say Jesus is the one that will judge the christians, and there is a possibility God could forgive thoes who add and take away from his word, never, Jesus could not have teach such when he had already condemned it in the bible. You say there are christians sect, yes!! There are also muslims sect, infacte muslims take a step further by killing each other, so anything you say about christians can be say of the muslims. |

Surah 5:Verse 116, And behold! Allah will say: O Jesus the son of Mary! Didst thou say unto men, "WORSHIP ME AND MY MOTHER as gods in derogation of Allah?" He (Jesus) will say, [ a ]"Glory to thee! Never could I say what I had no right (to say)... [ b ] (Jesus speaks) Thou knowest what is in my heart though I know not what is in thine..." Verse 118, (Regarding how God should deal with Christians, Jesus is supposed to have said) [ c ] "If thou dost punish them, they are thy servants: If thou dost forgive them, thou art the exalted in power and wise."
Jesus NEVER FOR ONCE told anyone to worship Mary, nor did the early church do so. Not even peter when Jesus say on the cross "behold thy mother" make reference to Mary in his epistle in regards to worshiping Mary infacte, Paul, James ,Timothy, and the rest apostles do not even made mention of Mary in there epistles, where do muhammed get the idea that christians worship Mary ? And in surah 5:118. It says: "If thou dost punish them, they are thy servants: If thou dost forgive them, thou art the exalted in power and wise."
Jesus would not teach that God could forgive those who add to, or take away from, his Word, when we read that God had already condemned them in Revelation 22. Muhammed has Jesus saying, in Al Koran, Sura 5:118 "If thou dost forgive them, thou art the exalted in power and wise." God will not forgive those who add to, or take away from, his Word. Muhammed then must have added verse 118 out of his fertile imagination, or perhaps he was trying to cover for himself in the future judgment. |

^^^ in addition!! There is NOT a single verse that say God directly throw people into hell. Jesus only say , DEPART FROM ME. Depart mean you are not allowed to go into heaven, what left is you and satan, it is satan that will drag you into hell. |

MizJanet: As a loving parent , Can you torture your child with a HOT IRON ? God love required God justice. True love is not permissive The first false assumption is that love allows the object of that love to do whatever he or she wants. However, this permissive kind of "love" isn't really love at all. Any of you who are parents will recognize that allowing your children to do whatever they want to do is not loving at all. What Sends You to Hell? idolatry adultery prostitution theft greed drunkenness swindling impurity witchcraft discord jealousy fits of rage dissensions factions and envy orgies lying cowardice unbelief sorcery sexual immorality homosexual offenses slander hatred selfish ambition abomination murder Since none of these character traits are allowed into heaven, those who insist upon holding onto these traits cannot enter into heaven, but must be separated from God in a place called hell. Therefore, those who go to hell do so voluntarily, preferring hell to complete submission to a holy and just God. |

Confirmer: so you are relying on the Quran now. You want me to school you on that? Despite the fact that Ismael was sent away, did he cease to be Abraham son? I quoted a verse earlier where he partook in Abraham's burial and he was referred to has Abraham son. In the Quran as well, Isaac hasn't been born before Abraham was tried. It was after he passed the trial that Abraham was blessed further with a righteous son. God did not recognized Abraham union to ishmael mother BUT God sanctions there sending away, why? Because Isaac was the son God PROMISE to Abraham, it was through this son he made a great Nation. Even the quran did not recognized ishmael on this, why? |

Confirmer: so Jesus didn't convince them with his miracles? They saw the truth and rejected it or they didn't see anything. If Jesus was unable to convince them that he was the Messiah (according to your logic) then the Jew are not at fault. listen!!! Not All the Jews reject Jesus, after his death, more than 5000 Jews converted to Christianity. You haven't answer my question, does it make sense for the Jews to boast, they have killed the messiah? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Contradictions Analyzed:bible And Quran. by malvisguy212(op): 12:21am On Jun 27, 2015 |
Confirmer: You still don't get the logic here. Why do you have the new tastament when there is an old testament? The new testament abrogates laws in the old testament and clearly define a new law. Example The eye for an eye in the old testament has been abrogated by the new law in the new testament. So the law in the old testament became null and void and of no effect at all. The Quran abrogates the gospel and the gospel is rendered null. On the issue of holy ghost, “And We gave ‘Eesa (Jesus), the son of Maryam (Mary), clear signs and supported him with Rooh-ul-Qudus [Jibreel (Gabriel)]
[al-Baqarah 2:87] “Those Messengers! We preferred some of them to others; to some of them Allâh spoke (directly); others He raised to degrees (of honour); and to ‘Eesa (Jesus), the son of Maryam (Mary), We gave clear proofs and evidences, and supported him with Rooh ul Qudus [Jibreel (Gabriel)]”[al-Baqarah 2:253] no, Jesus fullfiled the law in the old testament. The law is a manifestation of the perfect holiness of God, and was given to us (humanity) to show how utterly unable we are to meet God's standard by our own means, strength or works. The law shows us our sinfulness as a contrast to God's holiness. Jesus did not teach anything radically different from that of the Old Testament, He simplified the main points so that people could not escape into a pure exercise of religious ceremonies. The Old Testament describes many laws.He simplified the main points so that people could not escape into a pure exercise of religious ceremonies. The Old Testament describes many laws (both moral and ceremonial) that were to be followed by the people of God. With so many laws, people tended to become SELECTIVE, preferring to follow the easier ceremonial laws over the more difficult moral laws . Jesus explained that the moral commandments were not to be followed merely to the letter of the law, but also to the intent of the law "thou shall not commit adultery . So, it was not enough to abstain from adultery, but God required that one not even look on a woman with lust (Matthew 5:27-28). "thou shall not kill" Likewise, it is not enough to abstain from murder, but God requires that nobody hate another without cause, with calling another person "a fool" making one guilty enough to suffer the judgment of Hell (Matthew 5:21-22). So God's laws require not only perfect performance, but also perfect attitude and motive. Surah 58:22 You will not find any people of faith in God and the Day of Judgment who would establish friendship with those who oppose God and His Messenger, even if it would be in the interest of their fathers, sons, brothers, and kinsmen. God has established faith in their hearts AND supported them by a Spirit from Himself . S. 58:22 Sarwar Allah establishes faith in the hearts of believers AND STRENGTHENS THEM WITH A SPIRIT FROM HIMSELF, clearly showing that the Spirit here doesn’t refer to faith or angel Gabriel. |

Confirmer: All these circumstantial evidence you are trying to conjure shouldn't supersede a crystal clear evidence that Ishmael is Abraham first child and should have the status of THINE ONLY CHILD. The test was if he would be willing to sacrifice his only son. The test would be defeated if he had another son somewhere. Mind you God wasn't testing Sarah but Abraham so don't involve her. I seriously don't know how you put up your defence to this explicit fact. God has already sanctions the sending awy of ishmael and his mother before the sacrifice take place, even the quran recognized ONLY Isaac in the prophetic Race: Surah 29:27: And (as for Abraham), We bestowed upon him Isaac and (Isaac’s son) Jacob, and caused prophethood and revelation to continue among his offspring. Ishmael is the FIRST born, if a name should be omitted, that is soppose to be Isaac but the quran say otherwise. |
